@mike081283 look on the block dude stand in front of ur car pop the hood reach ur left hand to da left of ur headers and there is a series of numbersand letters there. u say its a 1.6 then its a d16z6 i think. d stand for its engine series (d series) the 16 is the liters 1,6 and for the z6 idk but its pushing like125hp but due to natural wear and tear drop a couple of horses the best 2 d series are the zc from the 1stgen teg which is the only dohc dseries but has a sohc block and the d16y8 127hp

are you using the HF transmission? cause they blow for boost. when you shift into second you lose all your power for a few seconds...

The HF is the best for large turbo and straight drag, though. Or specifically, a combination of SI and HF gears.

does the d16z6 and the d15b6 have the same motor mounts? I figured since they are both d series they should right? I want to put a z6 in my hf

yes the have the same motor mounts

Yep - same mounts. Just make sure to swap the engine mount (under the timing belt cover) from the old engine to the new one, otherwise the old driver side mount will NOT line up.

I'd also recommend at least Energy Suspension inserts for the tired, old factory mounts. Look into McMaster-Carr super epoxy filling if you want something a little harder and don't mind the cabin vibration. I drilled out my stock mount rubber and poured 80A + cured for 12 hours.
