  • The lyrics made it so believable!

  • LOL fake fail

  • What a dork! But we love him.

  • Epic fail.

  • lol this is hilarious! I actually disagree with the people who are saying you don't sound like Colin Meloy when you sing. I mean, obviously you don't sound like a carbon copy, but you did a good job! If you really want to work on your impersonation more, the last syllables of "lumineSCENCE" and "putreSCENCE" I think should be a mix between an "a" as in "cat", and an "eh" as in "pet". You did it more like an "ih". He tends to open up a lot more on that vowel.

  • hah i think if Colin saw this he would laugh

  • AHAHAH this is hysterical

  • haha yeah you sound a lot like him, until the singing.

still hilarious though. nice job. you made me smile :)

  • LOL some guy asked Colin to sing the obama song... Colin looking confused responded "I have no obama song..."

    lol

  • hahaahah november 5th?? i hope he means november 4th!! i hope he voted on the right day! :-/ although it doesn't really matter now, YAY!!!!

  • wow.. nice. failed.

  • i truly did think this was real up until he started singing. Its similar but not the same.

    great impression

  • is there a full version of this out there somewhere?

  • Brilliant!

  • rofl

  • pretty funny hahahah

  • that was fucking hilarious. being a sailor i asked him why he makes so many maritime references. all he had to say was, "well montana is kind of land locked."

  • lol! yes, that sounds like a Colin thing to say. (for those who don't know, Colin is from Montana.

  • Colin is not from Montana

  • Yeah he is. Moved to Portland because...well...how many rock bands have you heard of from Helena?

  • haha, wow,

    im completely speechless.

  • bahahahahahaha.

    zing.

  • dude, as a HUGE Colin and decemberists fan, I found this to be totally hilarious.

and um, something about a sailor oohh

I love it how they change the photo when he's supposed to be singing.

    oh man

  • this would be mildly amusing if you actually sounded anything like him...however you don't.

    go suck your dad's cock.

  • I lol'd.

    "Something about a sailor..."

  • no

    .

  • What's that? Singing in a British Accent? Wanker,

  • Stupid

  • Colin Meloy part of a popular local band that normally opens its concerts with the national anthem -- of the former Soviet Union. Supporter of Barack Obama, find it interesting that a presidential candidate would have them play at his rally. so this song that he is writing about Obama Hussein'... he will shatter the putrescence and complacency among the bourgeoisie.' ... The 'bourgeoisie' is a term that Marxists use to describe the middle class."

  • hahah oh lord!

the something about a sailor cracked me up!

    oh..and i love Colin! ^_^

  • just because he is way smarter than you and uses vocabulary you cant comprehend, doesnt mean you should make fun of it. is this trying to get people to vote? because you did the opposite. waste of space.

  • Maybe if you'd take that massive rod out of your asshole you'd realize that he isn't making fun of Colin, he's making Colin related humor. I, as a Decemberists fan, found it to be amusing.

So go climb a wall of dicks.

  • best comeback ever.

  • its kinda funny but also colin meloy is amazing so...

  • Hahahahahgahg, I lol'd hard when I heard "And then something... about a sailor..."

  • I lol'd.

  • I have to give you props... I love Meloy.. this was funny....

"And something about a sailorrrr" LMAO

  • Yeah, what the fuck man? You don't even sound like Colin.

  • What the fuck is this?
