I heard that if you are a student, you can get 3ds max much cheaper. But where can i get a student license then?

when you are taking the class in college, you get something so that you get it cheaper (atleast i think, I'm not in college yet)
Anyways, nice vid, this helped me

@MouthofSaurons Try either:
academia (.) co (.) uk or
escapestudios (.) com and follow the link: technology store, for an awesome bundle of 3ds max 2010, maya 2010 and others, for just £125!
The only problem with this is theyre educational licenses, not commercial. But have a look if thats what your after

Haha i know but regardless, it'll hopefully help others out
Certain colleges give you discounts... Just the same as getting Windows 7 for free or getting Adobe master suite for 200 instead of 500.

Try demo version of 3dsmax
Cool tutorial.
Im downloading 3Ds max right as we speak.
I want to ask, while downloading, is it supposed to say "preforming instalation actions" for REALLY LONG!
