  • @LivioGT I have Ubuntu on my IBM T60

It runs like it's native to the hardware i have and it's completley stock!

  • @LivioGT But i will get a T61 when they drop in price enough with my old 320GB HDD w/Linux

  • Down goes Ballmer! Down goes Ballmer!

  • damn I bristled

  • IBM IS BEST AT ADS. WHAT THE BEST COMPANY IN THE WORLD DOES.

  • why is linux a kid???

  • @dudemandude3 Because Linux as a pickle would make too much sense.

  • @dudemandude3 linux has only been around for as long as i been alive. 17 years. in dog years less then 2 1/2 years old. life is one big chewy bone.

  • Linux does float like a butterfly and stings like a bee.

  • 013 Eminem Kids .

  • epic

  • Amen, brother, amen.

  • Very nice choice, IBM. Shaking up the world is what Linux is trying to do, if not already.

  • best comercial ever

  • yeah its awsome

  • lol!! is... shook up the world!!

  • there is two types of Operational Systems: the good one and the Windows.

  • No wonder IBM IS the gold standard. Light years ahead of all other computer designers - they always have been.

  • beautiful

  • @gezimstyle what do you mean WILL? its already HAS changed the world.

  • @VideoMaster1000 What i told him!

  • I'm thinking what OS is installed in the servers that are allowing me right now to write this:

    Fooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

    xD

  • I am a windows transplant. I doubted linux before I even got. Once I loaded on my home PC, I was proven wrong instantly! Linux is a breeze to use and is beyond fast. I have ubuntu and simply LOVE IT!!! Now I have linux runnig on my business PC as well. Open Office ROCKS!!! Linux is NOW and the FUTURE!

...shake things up... shake up the world!

wow this ad rules, so simple, so inspired

  • You gotta give credit to Muhammad Ali for that speech, very deep.

  • Linux operating systems can run tons of games, dude.

  • Just install Cedega and you'll run every single Windows game, dude ;-D

  • no you wont.. you'll be able to run alot of them, some will be buggy, some just wont work...

  • cedega transgaming is the optimal software to run games on linux, I have installed Max Payne 2 and GTA SA on my linux pc and it runs smooth but the most important is that linux is virus free.

  • heck, linux is amazing, wine doesnt just emulate the programs, it can change the system calls to native system calls so the program runs natively on linux. plus, linux isn't hard, its just normal. Linux is normal, but every1 is used to the weird way windows is set up. the original cps were built like linux/unix

  • The first PC operating system was CP/M (This includes Apple, computer illiterates). The first PCs were built running CP/M, whose interface was a basis for MS-DOS, which would be the basis for many of the things Windows has. We had drive letters on desktops first, and I must admit this interface is less confusing than the single tree structure for Unix-like operating systems that came before CP/M.

  • The first PCs sucked too, you forgot to add.

  • if linux ran lots of games, then i would get it

  • Lol it does. And you dont "get it" Its free. Just use WINE to emulate most windows programs and games. And for greater support use Cedega

  • Kubuntu does everything I want nicely for me. Choice. Freedom. Possibility.

  • Linux rocks, gentoo rocks! I have no problem with windows users, they are just noobs.

  • gentoo .. is sexy

  • go linux.. i use fedora and i love it. btw linux is userfriendly.. u just have 2 learn a bit...

  • Not every one wants/likes to learn - and that's the problem.

Sorry, gotta go play Neverwinter Nights on my Gentto box :]

  • YouTube runs Linux

  • Everyone runs off linux.

  • I get chills whenever I see this.

  • Linux boy = eminem clone?

  • Lol... I thought that kid looked familiar...

  • Linux is moving downwards from the Enterprise World to the End User. Thanks in part by OpenOffice, Firefox, Gaim, Ubuntu and the other 16,000+ applications.

    I use Slackware and FreeBSD.

  • More like, shake up a whole bunch of nerds in finland.

Face it, linux is going nowhere because it's users don't want it to.

  • stfu finland owns, you aint got a glue whore. and its better to have community to develope the software and such, if you just have an big company, your gonna have some problems. Resistance is futile

  • Glue whore?

Did you just have a stroke?

  • i meant, you dont have any glue, whore.. duh

  • This is the kind of attention to detail that's going to get linux, TO THE TOP!!

    LOL.

  • What you being drinking? your stupid "badweiser"?

  • Congrats nikomo0, you have won "the most improper use of the English language" award, and will forever be counted in the halls of idiots.

    Well done!

  • you use linux everytime you make a click, you just don't see it becouse you're ignorant, blind, linux is everywhere, you just don't see it

  • No, BSD is everywhere, solaris is everywhere, and so is windows 2000.

Linux isn't dominant anywhere, it's just one of the many different choices around. And very soon, it will be obsolete when someone else comes up with a more user friendly alternative, that's just as free.

  • Go get an watch that runs Windows XP or Vista in front of my eyes first, then come back bitchin' at me.

  • I'm afraid you're wrong. Linux already is user friendly - just look at Ubuntu. It needs some polishing but at this state it's really straightforward to install and use by common user. My computer-illiterate friend uses it daily with no obstruction. My other friends (not geeks) managed to install and tweak it.
