  • Mark, do you prefer these to the normal bench in regards to shoulder health?

  • @xl507 Yes these are much easier on my rotator cuff's.I still do regular grip also but I do these more often now.

  • what muscles does that work? lol.

  • @devinlavallie Mostly the triceps but the shoulders and chest still get a good amount of work also.

  • strong rep mark! great job!

  • @j0540212 Thanks Josh,appreciated!

  • Wow Mark, that's a fuckload for a reverse grip bench.

  • @cyberkai99 Thanks Gavin! How's everything going with you?

  • Everything is going well. I haven't done anything in training too recently to where I thought it'd be worth posting, but I've been thinking of some attempts I could go for where I could make a video. I did a 410 3 board press yesterday with a small arch and no type of elbow support (risky business there) and nailed 1 rep pretty easy. I was planning on racking it, but my arms started coming back down. So my body wasn't done and my mind was telling me to rack it. Sucked because I missed it.

  • Strong Mark!

  • @powabuilda Thanks Nate! This one felt tough!

  • Thats so strong Mark good job, you are a monster bro

  • @dario2004 Thanks a lot my friend!!

  • wow nice and powerful Mark!

  • @PowerlifterTy16 Thanks Ty!

  • That was so strong, your spotter needed to catch his breath!

    Great work!

  • @DefensiveTackle94 Haha thanks brother! Yeah that was a tough rep for sure lol

  • very strong!

  • @bomdigi1 Thanks bro!

  • Way to finish that rep Mark. REAL strong finish!

  • @BRETZERR Thanks Randy! Man that ended up being a lot harder than I thought it was going to be.I made the mistake of jumping back right to the heavy stuff after not having done them in a while.I'll have to build back my strength on that movement.

  • @HHH396

Yeah, I hear ya. I bet if you went lower again and worked back up over 3 weeks you would hit 415 to 420 lbs. Still damn strong bro - nicely done!

  • Great work my man!! Super Effort all the way!!

  • @berealtoit Thanks my friend! That was a tough rep lol

  • Great job mark! That one looked like it took a lot out of you!

  • @SML693 Thanks Shane! Yeah dude that wasn't easy haha

  • good work mark!

  • @WeightLifterNerd Thanks Jared!

  • awesome

  • @tlast2O12dude Thanks Pablo!

  • Can't wait to see 450 reverse grip bench :)

  • @IncredibleHulkRobert Haha yeah me too ;)

  • monster lift. favorited :)

  • @emeraldseven Thanks my friend!

  • you really wanted that one, hahahah. excellent work!

  • @bigfattrolllord It ended up being a lot harder than I thought it was going to be lol.I guess it was too big a jump having not done them in over 2 months.

    Thanks Jonathan!

  • show me 430

  • @freeze00000 I'm working on it bro!

  • @Kazmaier Thanks buddy!

  • Nice work Mark, now your lifting more than a mere 4 plates per side, strong triceps man! Musta been a massive struggling rep grinder haha

  • @IncredibleHulkRobert Thanks Robert! Yeah that was a grinder for sure! Harder than I wanted it to be lol

  • @HHH396 i know what you mean mark. this is one of those technical prs. a pr you get without getting stronger. on the day you did 405 you did it easily and prob coulda done 410 easier than you did here, so technically yuou lose strength. but mrk dont view it that way...a pr is a pr,and a 410x lift is still good enough to smoke a 405x1 lift. mark youre doing great

  • @rctriplefresh5 Yeah i'll take a pr any day,but no doubt I had at least 415 in me last time.I built up to 405 over a peroid of about 4 weeks. This time I just jumped right to it,it was a little too much too fast.

  • nice work, cant wait to see 445...and I'd be too afraid to try anything over 250 on this lift sadly :x

  • @kickenwing30 Thanks brother! Yeah this is an extremely dangerous lift.It shouldn't be attempted without spotter racks or a power rack.

  • SICK LIFT MARK! :] you got me by a mile on this

  • @ARMFlGHT Thanks my friend! It felt heavy today haha

  • mark your journey is inspiring. for 5-6 years you were stuck at 405-410 on flat, then you hit that magic 410 bench, and now youre doing it reverse grip!! you arent even used to reverse grip anymore, once you get back into it, 425 is yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fuck yeah

btw your right your warmup for me fucking sucks.

  • @rctriplefresh5 Thanks Dave! That's why i always told you, you have to hang in there through the tough times. You never know when it will turn around for you.Yeah your right,I wasn't ready for the weight this week.It was kind of dumb to just jump back to 400+.I'll get some rep stuff in next week and start building up to the heavy stuff again.

  • @rctriplefresh5 Oh yeah,I figured you wouldn't like that warmup. That's the old man warm up lol.Do what u feel is right for you...you know your body best.

  • Brave of you to take that jump to 410 after the lay off! Well done.

  • @A550RGY Thanks bro! The reverse grip is a different feel and i wasn't quite up to the heavy stuff even though i did it,it wasn't easy lol

  • Nice work! That is some strong reverse press. I have never really done them. How do you like the movement?

  • @jlinteris Thanks Jordan! I like it,but it didn't like me today as it fely heavy! Ishould've bulit up to the heavy weights over a few weeks.I just jumped right back to 400+.My body wasn't quite ready for the that yet with the reverse.

  • EASYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • @Salamandria23 Haha thanks but that one didn't feel easy haha
