  • Wow Sarita, what a great travelogue video! Using the DSLR for video definitely defines the professional look. Taking that all together with your great screen presence and wonderful scenery and it looks like something out of the Travel Channel. You and Mar did a great job with this...and I love the "Crouching TIger" jumping shot at 1:23! So I'm assuming this was all natural light, even the night shot getting out of the taxi? Great job all around!

  • @samurye72 wow!!! i'm totally flabbergasted. the great SAMURYE commented on my video!!! woooohooo! thank you, dan! really appreciate your comment. :) LOL @ the crouching tiger jumping shot! yes, all natural light even the one in the end when i got out of the taxi. :) really appreciate you checking this video out!!! thank you!!!

  • thank You, its nice video

  • @55Liza55 thank you so much liza! cheers! :)

  • I thought you did a really good job with the editing Sarita! I liked the integration of the picture stills with the video, gave it some variety etc. Also thought the pacing was well done. One thing I noticed is that your dialogue was being covered up by the music (and I was even listening with headphones). I would suggest adding a bit of treble (about 4db worth) to the clips where you are speaking; this will help your voice cut through the music better. But other then that, great work!

  • @FilmIn5D thank you so much for the comment!!!!!! i really appreciate it coming from a guru in DSLR films! :) yes, i actually realized about the audio after reviewing the shots when i went back to the hotel. i actually have lots of "talking" scenes which were useless because the wind was blowing so hard. in this video, i even put the talking audio level up. i will take note of the "treble" thingy. something to look forward to in my next vid maybe! :) thanks again, aaron!!!

  • Wow!! Nice place! I love the jump shot. ^^

  • So glad you managed to fix the problems from the previous upload. It's a very beautiful and interesting video and the editing and music is perfect. :-)

I also have to say you look very stunning as always Sarita :D

    Thumbs up and faved

  • @Jagamp Thanks for commenting again, Jeff! Yes, I had itchy fingers last night and clicked on the video editor of Youtube and applied an effect... which messed up the whole video. Good thing that you were able to point it out before I went to sleep. I would have been bombarded with lots of thumbs down by the time I got up in the afternoon. :) Thank you so much for checking this out and for the "fave". :)

  • Great job putting this together, Sars! Marl turns his great eye for photography to a great eye at cinematography! Nice shots with that amazing camera!

Thanks for this wonderful tour. And you're certainly one of the loveliest tour guides we could ever ask for. And while I've always enjoyed hearing you sing... it's cool just to listen to you vlog as well.

  • @regisor94 Thank you so much for checking this video out. It really means a lot hearing cool comments from my fave Noytubers.. especially now that I'm leaning more into making awesome videos! :) Oh, just want you to know that almost all of those shots that don't include me were actually my shots. Hahaha! But yeah, he was really part of the process, constantly checking on my progress and sharing his input to my videos. Thank you again, Reg! :)

  • WOW! Galeng naman pagka-tagpi-tagpi nito, idolbes. Nakaka-enganyo panoorin yung travelogue video sa Summer Palace. From the graphics of your title card, the beautiful video quality, the musical scores you used to your information spiels, nicely done! You really are getting better with your editing skills on Final Cut Pro. Detalyadong-detalyado at very professional ang dating. Gusto ko tuloy pumunta rin ng Summer Palace sa Beijing. Thank you for putting this together, Sarita! LIKED & FAVED! :-)

  • @chinaeyes22 Awww thanks idolbes! I kinda worked harder on this as I want it to be my first serious project for my videography. I'm still at the beginning of what I want to achieve, and I hope you won't mind me bothering you with some questions and I'm planning to try Adobe Premiere. :) I really hope we can do an interesting project together... soon! Thanks again for checking this out! :) Labshuuuu idolbes!
