We're talking about $4 billion in subsidies for the oil industry. No, they shouldn't get the subsidy but I don't hear this dishonest bi*ch talking about how Google is in the 2.5% tax bracket. I wonder why.

@jgrover78 She's mentioned several companies in the past that are getting breaks from taxes (and I'm fairly sure Google was one of them) they shouldn't be in one form or another, but she's doing a TV show so this is a segment about oil companies which is what's in the news right now. Why don't you actually watch her show in full regularly to actually see she's not some shill for industry and she will actually be fair to all sides even if she disagrees with them.

@DisturbedHavok I don't watch her show regularly because she's a left-wing mouthpiece. Sure, once in a while, she'll lob a grenade at her fellow lefties, but even Fox News does that with righties. If you "are sure" she has mentioned Google for receiving tax breaks, then you are really conceding that she hasn't. She isn't fair and she's not as bright as she wants people to think. Anybody who receives their financial education from Barney Frank can't be bright.

Barney Frank graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School and Ms. Maddow has a B.A., from Stanford University and a Doctor of Philosophy from Oxford University. If you look for credentials like this from Fox I doubt you will find few if any! Yea they are really stupid! LMAO Typical Wingnut!

@DisturbedHavok I said I don't watch her show REGULARLY, which means I still watch it once in a while. Rhoades Scholar and Doctorate from Oxford are nice. But there's something that, ironically, her political hero, Barney Frank, talks about--"intellectual honesty." She does not have that, not that Barney does either. But it's about giving an effective argument where you present all of the facts or at least put them in the proper context. Who is "smart?" Ron Paul. He makes Rachel think.

@jgrover78 You keep saying "Barney Frank - her political hero", but I have never heard her say much about him being a hero. Do you use him because they're both gay? I mean, I'm sure when he stood up to that woman spouting nonsense about Hitler at a Healthcare town hall, she called him a hero of hers, but it's not like he's her all time favorite. So I have to assume the reason is the gay thing.
Maddow is smarter than Ron Paul. She didn't even have to try to make his son look stupid.

It's because she brings him on her show, he spouts bullsh*t, she not only doesn't call him on it but she pretends like what he's saying is so amazing. She praises him like no other guest I've ever seen. He's combative during most interviews but not to her. It could be that part of her praise is because they are both gay.
Your reasoning for her being smarter than Ron Paul is because Rand looked lost in an interview? Again, nice try.

@jgrover78 Ron couldn't deal with Chris Matthews and he's an easier interviewer than Maddow is. So I would say yes, she's smarter.
As for Barney Frank and her, name an interview, just 1, where he spouted bullshit and she didn't call him on it. Just 1.

@DisturbedHavok I'd love to talk about Frank's b.s. about how he had nothing to do with the housing bust but I'll talk about the Frank-Dodd bill. Type "Barney Frank Rachel Maddow" in the search bar and look for yourself. She allows Frank to talk about how the bill prevents future bailouts. Never once does she prod him on how exactly that works. That bill is a waste that doesn't address the continuing bailout of GSEs. Not a single difficult question from Maddow

@DisturbedHavok And on your point about Ron Paul--Chris Matthews got wasted. Chris and Rachel can't stand the fact that somebody can make a cogent argument that goes against their left-wing ideals. No, she isn't smarter and you're way too far up the Hershey highway with MSNBC. They're farther to the left than Fox News is to the right. Maddow just had another segment where she cuts up RP's interview with Matthews. Again, she purposely distorts. Don't get pre-digested garbage from her!
