  • classic great tune....

  • Is the drum machine an Alesis? It sounds like the one Godflesh used.

  • this is he new imperial march...since i was i kid: hammer musik!

  • I agree. The new metal is terribly poor. I'd like the new bands were playing as they used to. Once the concert was great. Even the police in socialism did not kill the love for metal :-) greetings from the Upper Silesia;)

  • @silesian11 the fuck. sending the greetings from lower silesia.. Opava Forever. hail breslau

  • As he analyzes his mummified treats.

  • this album should be the soundtrack to se7en

  • skinned up, played, meditated and loved.

  • Preferred this album to the second one B.I.B.L.E

  • goosebumps all over again!!!!!!!

  • 3 people know the weak will not succeed

  • Shane Embury: bass

  • Trevor Peres Vocals

    Donald Tardy: Drums

    Mitch Harris: Guitars

    Who else need more?

  • Fcuk yeah!!!1 I first heard this on some Vhs tape back in the early 90's; Rock video monthly or something like that. Awesome!

  • Brainchild of Napalm Death and Obituary members!!! Kick ass shit!!!

  • an album i had & lost & got again.... fuckin class shit.....

  • Thanks for the upload

  • after 15 years, i still listen to this album :)

  • Love those syths at the start.

  • got this album years ago loved it does anyone know where i can get it on cd ive been searching for it 4 ages

  • I bought this as soon as it was released;couldn't wait to hear the combined effort.Trevor Perez great rhythm man but the dark around his eyes looks like about 3 year's attached to a crack pipe haha.

  • Saw these guys at Wetlands NYC back in the day, one of the greatest shows ever

  • Embedded is a fucking twisted piece of work, love it.

  • excelente!!!

  • I like douching to this song! The vibes rattle the wall of my vagina against the squirt apparatus and I just go!

  • Jesus...

  • Mitch Harris of Napalm Death. Actually there are 2 Meathook Seed albums. Both with Harris along with different musicians on each album.

  • GREAT Lp. Righteous Pigs/Obituary rules together

  • Fuckin' awesome track, audio riot :-D

  • aweosme album. brings ya back. unlike some other collaborations this was all kickass.

  • I was listening to this album on repeat while reading Interview with the Vampire....and damn!

I saw a Napalm Death, Obituary show, and was truly hoping they would bust out with some Meathook Seed.

Embedded is just simply fucking fabulous!

  • embedded a kick ass album, what happend the new stuff is sht

  • By far the best hybrid album of the 90's. Never saw these guys ,but I still have a copy of the cd on the toy's factory Japanese label. Earache also gave me a t-shirt that I still own. Everyone check out the new Napalm Death some of the best stuff these guys have ever done. Rock on metalheads

  • Original name for this band was Meathook Sodomy. Censored like most things are

  • Mick Harris - Guitar Bass Backing vocals

    Donald Tardy - Drums

    Trevor Peres - Vocals

    I LOVE THIS ALBUM

  • It's MITCH Harris, and you forgot Shane Embury

  • you're right about MITCH, but in the first album Shane did not play; only live on stage.

    anyway GREAT MUSIC

  • some fresh look for metal in early 90's

second album is not so good, Mick Harris on drums?

  • Donald Tardy.

  • Still have the cd- too bad nothing came of it.

    Kicks ass!

  • Napalm Death + Obituary = Meathook Seed (1st album)

    Hell of a band !

  • Sounds better now that it did back then. As someone has already said, the quality of metal seems to have declined.

    This song is amazing.

  • I love this album!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song brings back memories, it was good stuff (still is) back in the day.

  • the good old days indeed!

  • This was when metal was good!

  • is it me or did slipknot derive their look from the drummer in this video? totally kool

  • necronic666:

I see what you mean! I'd say Slipknot mainly derived their look from Mr. Bungle, though.

  • One damn underated band. too bad there is no more music like this. New metal is so lame.

  • @eroticmisery Dude, fuck no. Well, not all of it atleast. You just have to dig through the deathcore scene, wank-death metal, etc. to find the good stuff. There's a lot of modern metal that's just fucking amazing.

  • rare song and album

  • industrial death at its very best. flawless tehnique and super vocals. back in those days, i was hoping this is how the music of the future would sound. now im up here in the future, stuck with slipknot and alike. sad.

  • @diamandili

I'm with you bro! I remember listening this music back in '93 along with Scorn and Pitchshifter, good stuff!

  • @diamandili Search for Umbah.

  • Gawd! I used to love this song/ album. Unfortunately the audio quality here just doesn't do it justice. Wish I never sold my old tape.

  • Damn, this brings back memories. The 90's was good to Death Metal!

  • Went to see Obituray, Napalm Death and Machine Head back in Sept.'94. Machine Head had to cancel or something.. SOOOOOOOOOO guess what happened? MEATHOOK SEED!!!!!! Great performance......was one of the 1st times they ever performed live as MEATHOOK SEED......MAY HAVE BEEN 1ST TIME(????) Seems like Trevor (Obituary) when he came on stage to tell audience that MH wasn't there and informed us of what they were gonna do mentioned that this would be their 1st time on stage since albums release

  • OMG...that show must have been a dream come true.

What the hell happened to Meathook Seed anyway! EMBEDDED was amazing. And then they follow up with B.I.B.L.E. - which is some awful brand of alternative rock. It's 'cuz they got some new singer, but I can't believe that Shane Embury and Mitch Harris agreed to play on that piece of crap.

I remember when "Famine Sector" was first played on a college radio show I used to listen to. Nothing like it at the time. Also love "A Wilted Remnant".

  • was this in Atlanta, Georgia? I was at that same show!

  • Yeah in Atlanta,,,,,The Masquerade

  • INCREDIBLE! They only played 2 live shows, you know? We got to see the very first one, and the ONLY American performance! I hereby announce that we are cool as fuck!

  • This album fuckin rox!

  • This album was phenomenal!! Combing some of greatest death musicians ever!! Obituary and Napalm Death!!!!

  • Great vid I have it on VHS. I need to find a torrent seed ;)

  • Forgot how f*cking mean this was!

  • This kicks ass, you guys should really check out Blood From The Soul as well. I think Napalm made some of their best music during the Fear, Diatribes era.

  • WOW ! I forgot how great was this album !

  • The drummer ian treacy rocks!

  • Its Donald Tardy on this album dude...Ian was on the next album! Embedded album one of the best Heavy Metal albums ever!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Embedded would have to be one of my all time favourite albums!!!!!! The second album is awesome too, but quite different.

  • I directed this video many, many years ago. Nice to see it here, but the YouTube/Flash compression makes it look crappy. It was shot in one afternoon in Tampa. All on Super8 film. A crew of three, the band and a bunch of beer. Good times. Paynie

  • Forgot all about these bruisers, still have the embedded album on cassette, anyone got a tape player????

  • Bloody hell! I bought this album when it came out. STILL CORROSIVE!!!!

  • wow! time without see this video!

I have to get this album!

very few comments, it still looks that the real heavy shit is still ignored!

  • one of my favs!!! this is IT

  • one of the most unique bands at the time, I loved that they did shows the night before the napalm/obit tour shows. I got to see them live @ wetlands in NYC.. and it was kick ass. this shit is in my ipod, always. shane's other project CD "blood from the soul" at the time was cool too, it kind if was like a primer for Diatribes.

  • this is pretty good.

  • Napalm Death + Obituary = Dinamite!!!

  • It's not Shite. IT'S AWESOME.

  • Shite

  • Thx for sharing. It's more than 10yr ago, but sounds kickest ass ever

  • Been ages since I heard this tune, and I've never seen the vid before, cheers for the upload.

Quality work indeed, still sounds as unique as ever.

Best hybrid band from the scene? It's between Meathook Seed and Nailbomb for me.

    D.

  • good add.
