jahlove426, i agree dennis has range, i!ve listen to him sing love ballards with plenty of range, it is true David set the tone,dennis raw voice was perfect for another direction, louis price, with that baritone another level, and then the mighty ollie woodson! the tempts have had some great front men, including theo peoples, bo henderson G.C. cameron, and richard street was good in his role as secondary lead occasdional lead for 20yrs that terry weeks now has that role, great group, forever.

As I keep saying, everyone has a time and a season. I believe "My Girl" was David Ruffin's debut cover tempt cover song. "Treat Her Like A Lady" is Ali Ollie Woodson's debut cover song. Both of these men have similar voice tones. But I can't imagine anyone perfecting "Treat Her Like A Lady" as well as Ali; as well as his other songs he sang with the Temptations (Lady Soul, Someone, Magic, Touch Me, One Step At A time, All I Want, etc...
