  • sehr gut!!

  • which year ?

  • Wow! He went THROUGH the concrete block!

  • If it is rear-ended by a lorry whilst in betwixed other vehicles, sad things may come to fruition. But, perhaps the newer steels have greater tensile strength.

  • Volvo's still safer.

  • Zwróćcie uwagę na tylną oś w 0:16 i dalej, podniosła się do góry o ok. 45* (stopni)

  • if you look the last crash tests for every cars in europe french cars are the best everywhere always 1,2 or 3if you look more german cars are not the bestaudi A3 for example have only 4stars.

  • z jaka to jest predkoscia auta ??

  • @przechu1 60kmh

  • French cars did a long way, from the unsefest (deadtraps) to one of the most safest in the world

peugeot is also very comfy to ride

  • French cars are great!! Especially for safety. And as for their reliability: I just did away with my Suzuki Ignis DDIS. Too many problems (turbo, alternator, etc.) that I never had with my 3 Peugeots 306 TD. Not to mention the absence of any comfort in the Suzuki.

  • just got mine....thanks for sharing and the vote of confidence....feeling more at ease now. cheers!

  • If you know anything about Peugeot the roof is ment to do this! The idea is that the car colapses around the driver and passengers forcing the engine and other parts under the car and the body up!

  • @gannonsheldon Actually in a crash like this the roof and particularly the A-pillars should remain untouched; it is true that a car should crumple to absorb the energy, but the passenger are must ideally remain intact.

Don't get me wrong, this is a very safe car...but the 307, for instance, seemed to be stronger in Euro NCAP tests (A-pillar barely moved at all); in reality, the 307 would have a slightly better chance of surviving a larger impact, despite earning 1 star less than the 407.

  • Very bad, look how the part of the cage above the driver's door folded O.O

French cars need to learn a lot from german cars, although there is no way they will ever surpass them

  • @Horiyka if a BMW gets hitted harder than in the NCAP the stering shaft penetrates the driver cabin killing the driver! I am not shitting, I worked in a junkyard specially the BMW3

the 7 is a high class car so you can't compare it with the peugeot, but if you roll over with a 7 or a Peugeot I guess the survivability in the peugeot is better

  • better than v=28zaCExg55o

  • yeah,, much much better

  • @Xkonoko man this 406 is from 1997 and 407 from 2004 :/

  • full video:

    watch?v=Gk_iCs5iAwc

  • how fast they drive?

  • 64 km/h, ~ 40 mph

  • thanx a lot

  • Чёт, подушка по моему не сразу выстреливает?

  • Экспертиза видео на youtube показала что ли?

Сто пудов, теперь левая фара разбита!!!

  • )))))Жжжёшь)))

  • mto bom

  • samid021 - --> like Titi Henry ?

  • yes

  • Shit, the roof bent.

  • So? The people inside are safe and that's what matters.

  • I have to 407.

    Its very good car.

  • @acmerake you might want to work on your english if you intend to comment in english.

  • 4.5 stars. peugeot perfect as usual. great cars! i also have 407 )

  • wow this destroyd the wall

  • i think they are trying to show that in a real crash they need to test the crash with the simulation having a crumple zone as well to get accurate results/

  • The driver is not injured, the door can be open.

Yes the roof moves a litle bit but on the right side.

    Like usual: perfect

  • Peugeot 407 Strong Car.

  • A friend of mine had an accident with his 407, he flipped the car several times, hit a tree. The car was smashed to shit, you couldnt even recognize it, but the driver was completely unharmed, walked out and called for help.

Dont EVER bash french car safety.

  • French cars are the safest cars on earth.

  • Actually Volvo was nominated safest car in world but I love peugeot 406, god i love it!!!!!!!!

  • @56KbModem

Exactly, French car's are incredibly save. There reliability can be questioned, but there safety is second to non.

  • @56KbModem What?? french car safety?? haha, almost all cars from these years are that safe, because of the crash zones, but look at the crash test of peugeot 406, it is still not an old car but it crashes like a chinese car... and look at the crash test of e.g. mb w210 or bmw 3 or 5 from those years - huge difference ;) now you can tell us something about safety.

  • @Wojtek646

peugeot isnt the best french car brand for safety but now its better but look renault they are the best in europe for safety all their cars have 5stars on eurocrashtest no one can deafeat them they are the best for safety and thats all, i dont like renault its ugly cars but they are the best for safety.

  • @m3gtr35 i suppose you are talking about nowadays cars (modern), consider that, there are more than one test for safety, but stairs are only for hitting the wall... there is pedestrian safety, hitting the back or side of the car, etc. In my opinion if you want safety, choose volvo. Despite that, i like french cars for their design.

  • @56KbModem this doesn't mean anything.

the only credible source I take for car safety is the official IIHS ratings.

  • @56KbModem Just bash their reliability. Bought a french car once; worst mistake of my life.

  • from the best mats to save your life in case of accident...

  • It's called crumple zone. look it up, you might not look learn something.

  • the 307 safety cell was more intact then this car, but this just had a better restraint system!

  • was the car damaged

  • no, like you can see the car is still in a great condition. dumbass -.-

  • to bad you like criticizing others and actually the car was damaged and was not in great condition

  • maybe was a scratch?
