Elvis made some great movies! This has to be his best of all. With sexy Mary Tyler Moore and Ed Asner in the same film? Blew me away! I saw this film when it first came to TV in the 1970's. Elvis was King!

I heard you were very sick with a bad flu. I had a bad flu (or something) It was so bad from Jan to this month, I thought for sure I was going to die, I even considered suicide it was so bad. It was the worst sickness I ever had in my life.

Este filme passou...qdo eu nasci..mas lembro qdo tinha uns 10 anos e assistia no festival Elvis Presley q passava na globo na época...é como um túnel do tempo rever este filme pra mim, foi o melhor filme em Elvis fez, como ator tb acho q foi neste filme onde ele interpretou o seu melhor papel, e como sempre ele estava lindíssimo e muito sexy em sua maturidade.

****more than likely she did not leave the convent...the knowledege that they did some good in their short time helping the people of that community was evident in the way she, sister michelle, looked at all of her options. sorry, but that is a happy ending when one finds peace through whatever vocation they choose! elvis probably wound up with the hispanic girl that was madly in love with him.

And how people take charge of their own neighborhoods.

I've always enjoyed this movie...underated by critics. Elvis' previous "formula" movies showed that he had great comedic timing. His early movies along with later Charro and Change of Habit demonstrated his ability for serious parts. I also have to say that Elvis new how to wear any type of clothing and look great - he even makes that dark suit and tie look fantastic! HA!
