@Waynescott1 Have you ever scene or heard a live DC5 performance other than the 3/9/64 Ed Sullivan show when they tried to play GAO live ? I have a copy and it's painful. I'll answer, no you haven't because Dave would never let that happen. During that 64-67 period they were accused more than once of using backing
tapes at "live" concerts .Beatles,Stones,Animals,Hermits,Pacemakers
Beachboys and many more played live 99% of the time. Yet out of the 13
@bluesscaler Have you ever seen a live DC5 performance ? Have you ever watched the 3/15/64 Sullivan Show when there WAS someone behind the curtain hitting a snare to keep them in time during Bits & Pieces. Dave has all the tapes & film hidden from view with the spare tire in the trunk of his Rolls ! When I was In high school in the 60's they were my favorite, they just can't play live !
When I bought this LP in NY City early in 1964, I was really impressed at the sound production qualities-even though I was only 13! Mikke will be missed greatly. I met Mike twice in 2003..such a nice man.
this is not nice... this is GREAT :)

That is NOT Dave Clark on drums ! That cut is WAY too tight to be any of them except Mikes voice .

Get a life 88cutty!
I know Dave used a session guy sometimes, but it was not uncommon in those days to do that!
A lot of bands did!
