That guy is Dick Clark. He started the New Year's Rocking Eve show in the 70's and hosted it every year since. In 2004, he had a stroke but recovered enough to do the 2005 show. His speech was labored and slurred during this broadcast due to the stroke trauma.

Even the long note in Candyman (which was supported by the track, but she hit it and held it right along w/ the track...you can hear her on top of the track). ANd she hit the notes in Fighter, though she worked her way up to it! IT WAS LIVE!!!

She has a relentlessly POWERFUL voice.. She matches Mariah's range in full chest voice, and she can get really high in falsetto! The notes she hits here in candyman (3:43 to 3:55) and in fighter (6:16 to 6:20) are an E5 and the strength in which she executes is amazing!!
