You have to love how this exposed IGN for the graphic and presentation whores that they really are. I'm more surprised this games audivisual experience wasn't lauded as it's at least as dodgy and bump mapped as FF12 tends to be, and the voice acting does its job equally as well. It's a gameplay thing anyway, this just shown them up for not really being interested in the nitty gritty of a videogaming experience.

You must have used an Invincibility code. It took me forever to beat Gene and somehow you manage to beat him without a scratch. You should have been pummeled at 3:42and at4:48 cheater!!!

You know that in God Hand mode and during roulettes, you are invincible right? If you do a move directly afterwards, that move will 'inherit' the invincibility of your God Hand / roulette. And that's what this player is doing every time he recovers from his God Hand unleash. Right after it ends, he charges up a charged punch, which then is invincible for the entire duration. Like I said before, technically, you could say that it's an exploit as well, but it's not as bad as Chain Yanker -> YMK.

It's more of an exploit than Chain Yank -> YMK though, because with the latter all you're doing is wisely comboing a single-orb roulette into a move which generates precious God Hand meter. There's nothing exploity about that, while we can't really be certain whether this invincible period was intended.

He pretty much just used high side kick spam (default on x) on stuns and ended god hand unleashes with a charge punch (default down+triangle) the rest could be left to your discretion.

After the charge punch, use down + triangle for a shoryuken and a timed up + triangle for a midair roundhouse.

It's arguable. The high side kick cancelling unwittingly balances out the game's insane difficulty. And you do need your opponent to be against a wall for it to work. Not to mention it doesn't work on female enemies consistently due to their lack of height.

It is possible to HSK Cancel the ladies, but I tell ya, it's freaking hard to get the timing right. I've managed to pull HSK Canceling the ladies once or twice, but man... It is easier to HSKC the tall ladies then the small ones.

Not so much against DGH Gene or Azel; if you kick them against a wall, they touch the ground instantly, so it only works on them if they're dizzied. Plus, DGH Gene has so much damn health that I'd say some shortcuts against him are excusable.

But yeah, it's definitely imbalanced against most enemies, particularly if you get them into a corner. At least it requires a bit more skill than Drunken Twist spamming or Chain Yanker+YMK, though.
