without shaking, i have almost solved the problem of sliding the camera from right to left or vice-verse,(learning from you) but up to down is what i need :)
Actually this is what NASA uses. They connect 525 hose clamps end to end and wrap that baby around the external fuel tank. Then they connect a Flip cam to that. Of course, they do charge $4,286 per hose clamp as they are inspected first by a staff of 829 engineers.

This is awesome. I love my Flip but can't use it w/o a tripod...the results are way too shaky. I'm absoutely going to use this tip. Thanks.
