I actually thought WSX had potential. I thought it could be as good as 2006-era TNA (because there's no way in hell it'd get as popular as WWE, let's be realistic) but it sure seemed to have a lot of the "It" factors.

Great action, up and coming wrestlers who performed both well in action and on the mic, but there were some MAJOR blunders they made.

1) It was a 30 minute show. 'Nuff said.

2) It was up against ECW. More people were likely to watch that instead.

3) Only 1 championship.

1. They were on MTV... MTV did not want an hour show... tell you know, if it were an Hour show then it would have more guys wrestling and more storylines, MTV did not want that at the time, MTV was doing a lot of 30 minute shows to be honest... Wild N Out to name one

2. it was actually doing well against ECW I Tuned in to WSX mostly til MTV started cuttin them off for weeks

3. Second Season, they were gonna get tag titles and a Cruiser Weight Title going...

This match was awesome. I had to watch the replays over and over when it was on Mtv. Youth Suicide came out of True Life: I'm a Backyard Wrestler. Funny how he comes out randomly in this match with thumb tacks yet get's thrown to it afterward. When I saw this match my money was actually on Vampire and X-Pac.

This had to be the most fake excuse for a wrestling promotion there has ever been. The explosions? The fans? The commentary? All were just completely horrible. Only certain people were allowed into the event, depending on what MTV thought would be the proper "look" for their network, so it mainly consisted of tools and sluts, which is cool... I guess. This promotion had really good talent, but the execution of the product? Horrid.

This sucked because of several reasons: MTV, Kris Kloss, and Kevin Kleinrock. Their was way too much XPW influence and MTV knows nothing about wrestling. The only good thing about this was that it was decently booked, but their just wasn't enough "wrestling" people to control the dumbass ideas that were green lighted by "non wrestling" people.
