Congrats on getting to 4k Subscribers Corn. Wish i had some knowledge on capturing devices but i don't have any idea so i hope everything goes well with it.
Don't give up on the HDPVR. for HD capturing, it's one of the best. I have not been able to get it working for direct streaming for any sites that most people use (JustinTV, LiveStream, uStream, etc...), though there are ways you can get it to work with some hacking.
The thing comes with ArcSoft Total Media, which gives you a live preview. LiveStream ProCaster can stream this preview window no problem. That's my method. Camtasia Live capture with Adobe FME is also an option, but less favorable.
I'd be happy to exchange PM's with you if you need further help. I've been using the HDPVR for almost 2 years now, with a 64-bit OS, and had almost no issues. That's a good device.
What I know for sure is that things like these don't really like 64bit OS. I'm looking for a grabber for my old Sony analog camera but you only find cables/drivers for x86 systems...
I have always used Xsplit broadcaster and Flash media encoder. FME works pretty well, but i'm not sure about it working with the PVR. Xsplit should pick it up as an input/output source and you can stream via Xsplit.
You cant use the HDPVR as a camera it only works through the software provided, you have to do a screen capture.

@Wasper216 this device works wonders under 64-bit. If that helps you at all, you might consider it.
