Or, just return it, and get a used one at a game store, or pawn shop for cheaper. (For gamecube support)

I would of been mad if I bought a new one, and I play Brawl with GCC, so I would of been in a bad situation.

This Wii to me was pointless. The Wii U can basically do EVERYTHING this thing can do, but more, so, other than just getting this for the controllers to keep and to play Wii games, there's really no point in getting this, you might as well just wait until later this year to get a Wii U. Same reason why people who got the DSi were fucked since 3DS can basically do EVERYTHING it can do, but more.

@EananC More like at MAXIMUM twice the price of THIS Wii at its price point...it'll probably be around $299. The original Wii launched at a $250 price, coming with a game. Besides which, who cares? Of COURSE the Wii U will cost more, it's the Wii's replacement, with technology that is leaps and bounds better than Wii, of course it'll cost more...This Wii is as pointless as the Gameboy Micro was when it launched because the DS was able to do EVERYTHING the Micro could do, but more.

@Hailbreather Why are you complaining about them not including Gamecube support? Did you not know that the Gamecube was discontinued back in 2007? They released this model in 2011....so they have absolutely NO reason to support a dead system. Same goes for 3DS...why are you complaining about it NOT being able to play GBA games? GBA's life ended in 2008, which is why, starting with DSi, they've stopped supporting it. Things move forward, and older things become obsolete. Get over it.

@javiman There were games and accessories that required the GBA slot on the original DS and DS Lite. So it's simple, they're not supported anymore. That's just how it is. They're not gonna keep those ports alive just for ONE insignificant game when you can play several other most-likely-better Wii titles. This is something that's ALREADY happened with DSi/3DS and the original DS only supporting GBA games and not the older GameBoy games. Things move forward. Get over it.

"I don't want a freakin' tablet controller," well, I'm sure people didn't "want" a Wii Remote either, I'm sure they probably just wanted a standard controller, but Nintendo thought of something different. Sure, it wasn't necessary, but that's what makes things INTERESTING. Besides, not every single game will use the tablet controller. Many games will probably still use older Wii accessories.

Now I have to ask my grandmother to bring the wii back she bought for me and switch it for the black one. Cause I cant play the 100 plus gamecube games I own. Which in most cases are better then the 3rd party kid games the wiis been realising. There are at best 10 decent wii games out there and thats it. Nintendo used to be my favorite for the longest time but now after the 3ds with the no gba and this blue piece of shit, im going with the 360.

My white wii crashed and the only game I played on it was ssbb from time to time, with the gamecube controller. So I ended up getting this piece of shit without knowing it didnt support gamecube, and now im bringing it the fuck back... I guess ill just play my 360 more or buy a fken ps3, or trade the wii in for a black one. But since Nintendo hasnt realised an actual stand alone controller becides the classic controller which you cant use without the wiimote Nintendos going downhill.

@misterneckbreaker88 well, in my case, it was worth it. Bought it on Black Friday, so it was only $100. Never had a wii before, but I wanted to play Skyward Sword. Still have my gamecube, mint condition, and I am planning to buy the Wii U when it will come out. So by the time it comes out, this cheap wii was the perfect thing for me.
