So great in every way. But I have one question. What is with the "shenanigans" one liners in all these Project Direct films? Was it a requirement or something? Because there is no way so many people put in that word of their own choosing.
16mm but why not follow the 180 rule in the first two shots...both caracters are looking right to left...j/k...where was this shot...feels like a cool mid-west no where big city...okay, drunk, but good work one way or another..."when i was a young man i lost my virginity to a large italian whore." priceless
Great film. I liked everything about it especially the offbeat whimisical diaglogue at the beginning. Nice shot selection and look. You're obviously no novice.
great work man. glad to see your keeping busy. were those sag actors? they were fantastic. Also the dialog was really well written. The only criticism I have is that the depth of field in the diner scene was way to shallow. Other then that the 16mm really paid off. It looked awesome. How long was the entire production?
Nice! Good job! So many great videos in this contest. Wanna see something cool? Like MY video? hehe I know you do. Click my name and check it out. "A Summer's Lease" I went for a kinda left wing approach. Does Andrew Summer's win against the Devil? Only one way to find out ;)
MAN! 16mm looks so good. How much does it cost for one of those camera's????? I wanna make a full length film on 16mm.
Everything was really good. Although I didn't like the very beginning. The story was really good, the usually type of stories I like viewing. The film reminded me of a nice Indie Sundance entry. And the acting was amazing.
Awesome camera work, awesome lighting, awesome sound, but I think that it lacked in story, no offense, it's just, it seemed like I was watching a show episode with a lesson behind it instead of a short film, but over it was awesome, even the cast. Cheers mate.

The film quality was so good, and Josh's responce to 'shenanigans' was so nice.
Everyone else just blew the word off. I have no idea why this didn't win!

How much did your 16mm cost? And how much did all your editing equipment cost? and printing for this film?
I'm seriously looking into this for a full length feature film I wanna make. And it's looking really expensive. Any advice?
