  • Wow, I remember Miller Hall from my days @ LSU. My sister use to live there and I would get to go visit her there. It pretty much looks exactly like it did in the 80's. Thanks for the memory refresher. It is funny how the places that you visit mean so much. I hope y'all have a wonderful time there and GEAUX TIGERS. CLASS OF 85'

  • I plan on moving into Evangeline Hall, Miller Hall, or Herget Hall. What do each of these mean, do they mean dorms for certain types of Majors?

Which Dorm has more space in the rooms? Me and my future roommate would like to know.

    :)

  • @rpzgyrl23 Evangeline Hall is the Science Residential College, so you have to be majoring in the College of Science to live there. Miller Hall is a traditional, all female hall. It's open to all years of students & all majors. Herget is Herget Residential College, which is like the freshman experience. It's open to all first-year students and helps them transition into college.

For the size of the rooms, go to our website lsu dot edu / housing and look at the measurement sheets.

  • @emiusaostava - The bathrooms are hall baths in Miller Hall, meaning they are not attached to the room and are down the hallway. Each floor has 4 community bathrooms with multiple showers, stalls, and sinks.

@kelsullins - We have measurement sheets available on our website. That would be the best thing to answer our questions! @wwereplicabeltman165 - Silly! No, Miller is all girls. Sorry!

  • @thepurplepolo I have a question about the halls in general in LSU. Like I know there is Blake, Evangeline and Miller hall but what are the requirments or diffrences between the halls? Why are there 5 or 4 different halls?

  • @Casperangryandmad000 @Casperangryandmad000 We have close to 20 halls that are options for 1st year students, so there's something for everyone. I'd advise yo to go to lsu (dot) edu/housing and click on "Housing Options." That will break down all the buildings for you. Some are for specific majors, others revolve around a theme and are open to all majors, and others are traditional, meaning no major or theme is associated with the building so they are open to everyone.

  • have a question, what about the bathroom where is it located

  • have a question, what about the bathroom

  • Would you happen to know the dimensions of carpet needed to cover the floor? Also, how would you hang "curtains" to cover the area under your beds and how much wall space is available to hang things? Your room looks great! Thanks!!

  • i have a couple questions! for miller hall, do you need to use cards to get everywhere, like blake hall? does the carpet come with the room? do the beds come like that(high up)? do you get the drowrs with the room? plz reply to this!

  • @babyjrrn All the residence halls on campus use card swipe and key access points to access buildings and floors. The floor is tile, but you are welcome to bring any rugs/carpet to personalize the room. The beds have the loftable option, but can also be lowered to your desired height. Drawers come in the closet (one closet and set of drawers for each roommate!)

  • My older brother goes to LSU, he is living in Herget though.

  • @xlaurensparklesx : That's great! Did you watch the Herget video?

  • @xlaurensparklesx : That's great! Did you watch the Herget video?

  • Miller Mansion and Running Shorts

    What's not to love?

  • That was awesome!!!!!
