The thing on top is just a metal scoop to bring air into the carbs that sit on top of the 2 superchargers. This type of scoop is seen on most roots type superchargers, so some people mistakenly refer to them as "blowers", which is just a slang word for supercharger or any other type of forced induction. This car "only" has 2 superchargers and nitrous on it! YEEE HAAAAW!!!

The shifter is a Hurst Lightning Rod shifter. The left rod is for Park, Reverse, Neutral and First. Once the left one is all the way back, you pull the middle one back for second gear and then pull the right one for third. No missed shifts.

no different than a single supercharger, but less effective. Pure show and uniqueness, which is what the builder wanted.

The top 871 blower simply feeds the 671 underneath it, which in turn forces the injected petrol into the motor.
