  • Very Nice Video :)

  • nice video, but for some reason the choppy frame rate is irritating.

  • @ranger250250 Totally agree. All of my older vids are in the process of getting updates during the next few months to nice, HQ and near HD quality. That should fix the choppy-ness issues.

  • Nice video! I was wondering if you knew how to change the color of something in a video, rather than just a single frame. I could really use help. Thanks alot!

  • Oh yeah this is one of the simplest photoshop things i heard. I should start using photoshop again for backgrounds in my games.

  • wtf now is hard to know what is natural and what is not..LOL

  • how do you zoom up on your eye and its not blurry? When I try to zoom up on it it's very very blurry.

  • You have to work with a high resolution image!

  • So you can't do it off a digital camera picture of yourself?

  • u need a big image resolution usually above resolution 1000 x 1000

  • also helps if u have a great camera with many megapixels

  • I use print house magic 1995 edition one hint for changing eye colours is to pick your colour and use transparency of about 95 so the colour is just hinting on the eye.The other method is to copy your picture and put both pictures on the clip board .Alter one picture to your chosen colour then merge one picture onto the other .If its just the eye just merge the different colour onto the same pixels of the other eye its that simple.

  • Just one problem... i'm trying to change my eye colour in photoshop but because i have really dark brown eyes these techniques are not working and i'm still seeing the brown through the layer.

  • this tutorial really helped me a lot.. and it is so easy.. thnx! but i am a filipino so i have dark black eyes.. when i tried to change it to blue.. it really looks bad,...

  • Comment removed

  • Great but 1 thing

my colour picker is different to y ours

the middle box makes the colour brighter/darker

and the side bar choses the colour :S

  • You should see the letters "H: S: B:" in the bottom right with tick buttons to the left of them.

Click on the one that says "S:" It will be below "H: and B:"

    Hope that helps.

  • i have dark brown eyes nd i tried to make them look blue. it looks really bad ):

  • Yeah same here, tried them on dark eyes and they don't come out looking natural at all.

  • thanks! this really helps!

  • This worked, but how do I do the other eye?! It won't let me start over with the other eye, only adjust the eye I just did.

  • make a new layer

  • if you have dark dark brown eyes will this work?

  • 100% Awesome ! - Cheers

  • thanks this is fab x

  • I did this but my eyes don't look real.

  • can you do this to eyes and make it move? As in a video? You could make some creepy eyes in a horror movie, or something

  • Thx !

  • this one doesn't work on original black eye colour.. :(

  • True! Pure black does not give Photoshop anything to work with. Other methods, like artificial irises or cut and paste from other eyes have to be used instead.

  • @ranash1995 can you make a tutorial on it?... i wanna change my eyes from dark brown to a very light colour... something like light blue.. :(

  • Excelent tutorial! Many thanks!!

  • great video

  • You're awsome!

  • I know Im a dumb noob...but I cant get the other eye to work.....

  • O: I like it... I think the hue/saturation method looks a little bit more natural.

  • Awesome tutorial! Thanks to this, I was able to render my eyes some pretty sweet colors.

  • U sound like Jason Statham. That's a compliment

  • doesn't to me...

  • I love your videos, but for some reason I can't fix up the eyes. I can change the colour and the opacity, but once I get to the part where I clean it up, it doesn't work. Can you help me?

  • Great vid, works great

  • hue is better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • It worked! Thanks, it really helped me.

  • You Got To use High Res Images

  • How do I get a close up of the eye without it looking all pixel-ish.

  • lmao

  • KOOL what explain how you did the layers

  • i cant get the iris bac :(

  • Don't forget to use separate layers and always keep copies of the original picture at the bottom.

  • thanks! very helpful!

  • All you have to do it select the eye then use Image , Ajustment , colour balance. It works! lol

  • thank you so much

  • use the quick mask tool

  • Hi i've heard something that confuses me.. i asked one if a brown eye would get lighter or darker by the suns affect, and she said it would get lighter by the sun, but peoples that moved to ex. sweden long time ago deployed blue eyes because less sunlight??

  • It might have been a simple mutation that caused it. The gene pool has been quite small for a long time, making it possible for the recessive blue gene to become so overwhelming.

The same goes for green eyes, I guess, although they are even less common. As for hazel eyes (the ones that change color, not the brown), I don't know what's up with those...

  • and where i can dowload it

  • hi great

can you tell me how this adope photoshop called (what version it is)?

    thanks

  • CS3

  • uu thanks for posting this!!

  • ugh, i like to watch a certain part over and over. but the slider bar only allows u to move it to the begining again. good tutorial tho :)

  • dUde YoUr AwesoME i lEarneD suMThiNG today [:

  • amazing can do that with windows 95

  • hey thanks! but I can't do the opposite! when i took away some collor of the eye,it worked, but then put some color of some parts that didn't have the color,it didn't work, nothing happens! Why?

  • ???? Sorry, I just don't understand your question at all. A more detailed explaination would help.

  • sorry man, when you read my message it had a couple of suggestions for future tutorials another one I would like to add is getting rid of bags or left over make up under the eye, thanks for everything you do I doubt you get the credit you deserve.

  • please look at 4:18 - 4:37 sec! You did the opposite, but I can't do that! I know how to take away, but not to fill a bit color again, nothing happens even if I have the white paint!

  • Make sure you switch the paint colors from black to white (use X on the keyboard to do this) and check that the brush blending mode is set to normal AND that no selections are active and of course, that the layer mask is active.

  • it's all complicated with photoshop first time! and I'm in that situation! :(

  • pick the 1 that spins your wheels!! haha lol wot a character!

  • These tutorials are excellent, but i have one problem that I am finding do frustrating! When try to paint white onto any layer it won't let me, but black will work. So I can't colour in the eye if i need to and this also applies for the foundation make up tut? Any help?

  • Check that the Blending mode is set to Normal! This applies to the layer AND the brush itself.

  • emm are you retarded

you just do the exact same for the other eye

    om the same hue layer

Right at the start when choosing the eye with the oblicable thing just push shift and select both eyes

  • don`t bother, i figured it out for myself

  • save the hue setting and add another layer for the other eye and repeat
