If I have to say...even though laptops can't run high end games like skyrim...PC latops run so much more faster and efficiently. The problem I have had with macs is that macs run so smoothly and efficiently you don't need to perform routine maintainence on them (which urks me because the protection on a mac doesn't rid you of errors but rather just prevents them). I prefer PCs simply because not only can you prevent errors, but you can get rid of them. Macs just crash, burn, and die after they get viruses, or error codes/messages.

Yeah 12 cores is impressive but each core runs @2.93 GHz which is still an immense amount of power, problem is no applications put 12 cores to good use. I think a 6 or 8 core CPU is a better option. Also there are PC's with this kind of power but 64GB RAM is pretty much unique to Mac Pro.

Right, right. Like Starcraft II? That's a pretty simple game, and yet the $1999 iMac choked at 28FPS at a measly 1680x1050.

Meanwhile, a $1000 PC was killing it at a whopping 112 FPS. That's an 84 FPS lead.

Just for reference, my ASUS laptop from last year ran Far Cry 2 at 1920x1080 with everything cranked and I ended up getting 55 FPS. And it wasn't even a top-quality laptop.

@overlord848 1. I have a 360, I don't use it much though because it is MUCH louder than my gaming desktop, even when my desktop's fans are turned all the way up. 2. My gaming desktop is MUCH better than the Xbox 360 (and chances are PS3 aswell). Here is an example to prove my desktop is better than the Xbox 360: The Xbox 360 version of Metro 2033 stutters in some areas. The Windows version of Metro 2033 pretty much fully maxed out on my desktop at 1920x1080p doesn't lag AT ALL.

Epic Fail... You DO realise that Mac has a faulty OS, is overpriced, is well-known to be inflexible in that you cannot modify the system in anyway, and it has many of the same problem PC is known to have... And the only reason why Mac has fewer viruses is simply because it is too expensive and unfavourable (for the reasons I gave above) for the average person. In short, Mac's lower demographic is it's only real security.

If you want the best OS, go with Linux.
