  • Dominic Cork follows Stoke City, so he was already a legend before this !!!

    K4

  • why would you name your kid junior?

  • the ecb removing Old Trafford as a main test venue I still find shocking, most of the amazing things that have happened in English test cricket have happened in Manchester.

  • Love Cork's bowling action.

  • I go to school with Dominic Corks son , & i went to see him on Dancing on Ice.

  • richie richardson, junior murray and carl hooper disliked this..

  • LOOKS LIKE ALLAN DONALD

  • @divingdolphin567 - Who cares??... Did u bend him ova too!!

  • Yeah he does look a shitload like A.D.

    The similarity's are uncanny

  • @DeanWhipper definitely! Donald maybe a little longer and starker, but very similar looking

  • Ah, dunnit make you feel good!

  • English version of Allan Donald !

  • Back when english summers were nice and warm :)

  • Oh man Cork looks so much like Alan Donald and he bows as good as Donald as well. Good on him.

  • @boeing74783 "and he bows as good as Donald as well" Are you sure you've thought that comment through?

  • @Imrankniazi No I did not, why don't you teach me some cricket you dumb ass. I did play cricket for many years and I opened bowling for one of the best league teams in a country. If there is a clip posted, why don't you write something sensible. What you all of a sudden become a cricketing expert so that you can comment on something nice written about a player. At least Dominic Cork represented a country, but what have you done to show your talent?

  • Two weak lbws??? Both were absolutely plumb.

  • Those are 2 weak LBW's, the WI batsmen underestimated Cork to thier detriment, Hooper put his pad out and tried to play around it, Congrats to Cork, he put the ball in the right spot and got the rewards

  • unbelievable considering the quality batsmen he removed

  • Comment removed

  • I am on this clip!!!!!!! after 2nd wicket in crowd!!

  • @colabunny123 - Well if so, which of the ugly one's r u??...

  • Dominic Cork was a very good bowler

  • DERBYSHIRE LEGEND

  • corky=legend

  • Cork is my favorite english Bowler. Great swing bowling to get a hatrick too.

  • Cork was'nt a bad bowler though he could only bowl in english conditions he struggled overseas in tests

  • You seem to know a lot about the "twinky, sweet, canal street" gay scene, so I don't know why you're asking us for an opinion when you're clearly the expert.

  • cant wait to see him at hampshire (:

  • Oh he's into IPL now baby Yeeaah!!!

  • Cork was adament that ENGLAND players shouldnt and wouldnt return to India after the terror attacks. But he kept his mouth shut after 7/7 when they were sittin at Lords 12 days later playing Int'l cricket.

  • thats cause india has more of a chance of being bombed than england

  • his style is so elegant in comparison to players like malinga!

  • u want elegance see richard hadlee.

    this dog is shit.

  • Dominic Stork

  • Corky never played the amount of games his talent deserved. Particularly when he was playing for us (Derbyshire) in the early/mid 90s and was consistently bowling brilliantly. The selectors made some dreadful decisions over the years and not playing Corky more often was one of them.

  • i always wondered what happened to him. i agree with you he was a very talented fast bowler...its sad he didnt play much more test cricket.

  • corky is an out and out Stoke City fan.

    Go Corky.

  • Derbyshire la, la, la, Derbyshire la, la, la

  • What a smooth and cool bowling style!

  • Why o why didnt they pick Cork more often as he was better than alot of the shit they used to pick during this era

  • We're happy down in Hampshire that they didn't. He's beautifully bitter now

  • Durbs - The point that you were a student has little bearing , even if thats the case this hatrick was taken in August so you wouldn't have been at uni anyway and also it was a sunday morning.. and most people lie in on a sunday

  • Could this response actually be any more pointless?

  • Boring twat.

  • All true, Barv old son..but what point are you trying to make? All I am saying is I wished I got up twenty minutes earlier!

  • This was the first and only hat trick I have ever seen live.I'll never forget it.I have seen a few on video, but being there, amongst the barmy army was incredible. Thanks for taking the time to post this vid,m8.

  • must say compared to modern day that his action looks crazy i mean i bowl fairly conventional and my back is fucked lol

  • I love to see dominic cork and allen donald bowling.

  • wtf?

if only I knew what was going on

  • i was there old trafford 1995 :D

  • Ahhh I remember seeing this live!

  • I was a student back in 95. Woke up this day at 11.30 and thought, no, won't have missed much of the test. How wrong I was...

  • Batsman surprised as it looks like at the start of his run-up he is fielding at mid-off!

  • Does he want to run in anymore sideways ? Lol

  • Dominic Cork absolutely ruled that 1995 series - didn't he take 7-for in one of the earlier tests?

  • Yep he sure did - another player who England didn't use properly!!!

  • It was that bowling spell that had the press calling him "Beefy 2" for a while. Pity Cokies kness gave out. He was a 'could have been' for England.

  • Yeah, he could bat at number 8 too.

  • No wonder he got the hat trick, the batsmen would be distracted from that crazy run-up angle.

    Great bowling.

  • Used to be fairly common to run in from that angle. Merv Hughes did something similar.

  • I just loved corkie he was simply fantastic

  • I so agree dude! Funny thing is, I knew the guy who used to coach him as a school boy in Derbyshire. He said long before his knees gave way that he was being bowled too much.

  • (completely unbiased opinion) i reckon its a lot closer than you think, it looks like its going down leg bt if u look at the batsmens positioning his front leg has come a long way across and so i think it was going on to hit the stumps.

  • on second look, i think you are right.

  • well there really is no need for those kind of comments. The highlight of thisclip is in the 11th and 12th sec when you see me in the crowd!

  • ex-derbyshire ;)

  • pathetic fucking cocksucker

  • dick head suck cock

  • idiot

  • racist twat

  • wonders what the fuss is all about. For any cricketer, producing a hat-trick on the world stage is a fantastic achievement

  • that 1st lbw was goin down leg !

  • if by 'going down leg' you mean 'hitting middle and leg and taking them both out of the ground' then yes, it was.

  • Agreed, Spaceman. No qualms about either LBW decision. This era is the start of the downward slope for the Windies.

  • if cork wasn't such an abrasive wanker as a person he might've played more for england.

  • lol my mum broke her radio watchin that live!!

  • I do no much. The aussies are the best team in the world, and when he played against the aussies he only got 5 wickets in 3 matches at an average of 49.80.Yeah he mighta got wickets against weak teams like the west indies but like alot of players when it came to the aussies not many peolpe were good enough.Dominic Cork sucks.

  • the west indies were the best team in the world then, the aussies now are the best team, but back then, they destroyed everyone

the westindies plummed the aussies when the used to play them back in the 80's and early 90s

    so dominic cork is good

  • I'd love to know where you get your info from. WI haven't been rated as the number one test team since the late 80's. get your facts straight cunt.

  • Actually, Australia took the No 1 mantle from the West Indies in the 1995 Caribbean series, which was just before this one.

  • Of course, playing against Australia is the only thing that counts. That's the attitude here in the land of Oz.

  • thats cos you are a bunch of arrogant pricks

  • actually at that point west indies and Australias batting line up was about equall in skill, so u have no clue wat u are talking about retard.

  • All give each other a hug and agree to disagree!

  • About the only good thing Dominic Cork ever did on a cricket field!

  • u havin a laugh ...? im afraid u dont know much!!

  • wtf was that?

  • hes shit

  • This was when Cork was it his best. Got bounce off the surface and he consistently swung the ball. What a great post this is. So nice to see Richie Richardson. Wish some of his innings were posted here.

  • Jr Murry and Richie batting without helmets! Classic
