Over the years this topic has come up many times so I will ask it here. Before I ask my question I want to reveal that I am not white nor am I black. However my question is a question out of curiosity. White women usually are attracted to or at least discuss a guys attractiveness with her girl friends before she goes for him. Hey, do you know what's funny? There are people that don't understand why White people and Black people get so much flack when they date or marry. They think it's about race but here's a news flash. It's not about race it's about color. I've seen Darkskin Blacks talk about how Lightskin Blacks are prejudice against them. Some of the Darkskin people seem to think it's because the Lighterskin people prefer Whites. Some Lighterskin ones think the Darkskin don't accept them as being truly Black.

I've noticed that the controversy among those who have commented lies with having EXCLUSIVE preferences for someone "outside" their race. I haven't seen any criticism of those who have EXCLUSIVE preferences for "their own". Could it be that exclusive preferences are the real problem? In this day and age, cosmopolitanism should be the goal, seeking people of quality, whether they be friends or lovers. Just my opinion.
