@budojon if you're ganna want to play as dante you have to learn the basics first, if you want an easy combo your ganna end up burning to much meter. you have to know all of dantes moves and make your own combos up with what you learn it takes practice, look up "bold move cancelling tutorial" on here

Guys, to the people saying the title is misleading for "BnB combos". These ARE BnBs combos, i'm as good as this guy, or close to as good. and the combos are easy if you're experienced with dante. You're not going to learn these the first day you pick him up. And these are called BnB because they don't contain ASSISTS, just dante alone.

Sickest dante I've seen yet. But wouldn't a lot of these do more damage if they were shorter because of scaling. I'm trying to pick up dante myself but I'm kind of of overwhelmed with all his different combos. I just wanna know what the highest damage combo he's got both in and out of the corner (that doesn't require assist or x factor)

@shadowslots Tis the reason there are so much Dante haters, most of his attacks are multi-hit, so most of his combos are already fully scaled halfway on the combo, there are a few very damaging combos, but they require you to burn meter like crazy, wich is why he has these types of combos, its like a balance, low damage high meter build, high damage high meter burn, but when you fully learn how to use Dante you will know that he has a combo for virtually any situation or setup.

for the standard bnb after volcano j.H-Air play- j.H, s.H i can never time it so that the s.H would hit, and when it does the opponent just flips out so i dont have time to launch into clay pigeon.

@AOT try normal jumping up-back in the coner after you hit the volcano. So volcano, jump up back H, air play, air H, land and hit S. Should work from there. That's how I started doing it in this game lol

@l2agnarok777 Anything is harder online because of natural lag(sad face). It's all up to muscle memory. After that anything can be done (or well, most things in this video anyway). In short, practice practice practice.

You have to actually do it pre-emptively. Try using Stinger, then hitting bold cancel the moment after you put in the command. You'll notice that the bold cancel still comes out anyways. It is this window of time, from the input of the command to the actual bold cancel occuring ingame that you have to fit any cancelled move into, such as Jetstream, Volcano, Teleport, etc. It's tricky, but you'll get it down if you practice it. Took me about two days.

@Bluddtheersty Honestly? No. XD I have just practiced my timing with it, and doing it quickly enough to register properly. The closet thing I do to a shortcut is hit Forward + H, then H + S immediately after that move starts, and then doing Volcano.

With Volcano, I continue holding Forward, and then simply input down, then forward again. It saves a lot of time for cancelling DP's.

In a way, I suppose that's a shortcut. Other than that, I have no idea. I still drop it sometimes.

@18je1 This involves Bold Move cancling, his command jump. You've got to Bold Move after the stinger, and then instantly cancel it with the Volcano before he leaves the ground, it WILL take some practice.

@18je1 Make sure you're holding forward after stinger before the bold cancel (S+Attack) and follow it up with the rest of the motion. I don't use this method much, but it helped a friend I was helping out.

I can't seem to get the acid rain after the flame dance thing (in the first combo). They just go flying across the screen after I hit them with the flame dance. I've used it against mutiple characters so I'm pretty sure its not a hitbox issue. Am I using it too late? Too early? For now I'm just using hammer in to volano legs into super.
