I write children's books and i've converted all my picture books to iBooks, I am wondering in all honesty - your own personal opinion, do you feel kids are truly reading books on iPads? (Kindles, Nooks)
If not now - do you really feel kids, schools, parents, will convert to e-readers? I've a ten yr old and it's a wee bit uncomfortable to hand her a $800 iPad, but I'm wondering if other people feel this way? Would love to hear everyone's reflections.

A vote of confidence if the NWS is interested. It put me directly in position to intercept a tornado and report data on the fly. I have used it in the office for whiteboard and facetime collaboration.It has more value as a tool than game system in my opinion. I think it comes down to user preference.

What are you talking about?, most sites today are fully HTML5 compatible, sutch as youtube and Vimeo. Like 90% of the sites today tries to be compatible with the Ipad and so on and so on.

@oMaXxio No you epic fail. I was referring to how ridiculous soldiers an other people's predictions were and then when the device is revealed (like in this video) it makes them looks stupid.
This thing sucks i had to choose either the macbook air or the ipad i chose the macbook air because its better i mean ipad may have HD Games but so does the mac and it also has a nice keyboard and its for students and buisness the ipad is for adults that play games ipod is for kids
I used these at the apple store here and they are actually a great experience, but i wouldnt get one... not till the 2G or 3G comes out with a camera or a disk drive or access to the whitehouse computer base or whatever it'll be capable of then :)
Thanks for posting this video and your comments. I bought the WIFI iPad back in July 2010. I have been very happy with it, even with no camera. It boots up instantly, long battery life. The iBook app is awesome. I watch Netflix all the time on it.The latest OS update enables music and video streaming to any other device connected to Apple TV and Airport Express (which I have both).
@splichalsplach snow leopard (or any desktop os) would be difficult to use with fingers.. just look at where windows tablet pcs have been for the past 10 or so years and you can see why apple decided to use ios.

Thanks for posting this video and your comments. I bought the WIFI iPad back in July 2010. I have been very happy with it, even with no camera. It boots up instantly, long battery life. The iBook app is awesome. I watch Netflix all the time on it.The latest OS update enables music and video streaming to any other device connected to Apple TV and Airport Express (which I have both).

@splichalsplach snow leopard (or any desktop os) would be difficult to use with fingers.. just look at where windows tablet pcs have been for the past 10 or so years and you can see why apple decided to use ios.
