UFO with red and blue lights on Sept 5 2009 in Winnipeg Canada

I saw this about 10 years ago and never believed in UFOs. Now I don't know what to think. Pale blue and red lights and moving up and down to the right then away really fast. I get chills every time I see something just like what I saw. I was surprised when I typed in "UFO blue and red lights" to actually find exactly what I saw.

When I typed In red and blue UFO. I thought I was gonna be able to find the one I saw about ten years ago now. I was in castaic, ca and it was a lit up oval shape of red and blue light which blended in patches. It was pretty large in size. About 20 feet on each axis. It was cool cuz it hovered about 200 feet from the ground. Traveling very slowly over a house up the hill in the next neighborhood. I saw this tonight! I don't have a video camera, so I searched for someting similar because I has seen other videos! It was identical, except I saw two 'orbs' shoot out of it and one went into it! Even my husband saw it and he is a 'non believer', well, WAS!!

That for sure is a Winnipeg accent. I saw something similar while spending time in Lesotho, southern Africa. It never moved around like that, but it did shimmer red and blue. It was on the horizon every night for a while. I always thought it was some sort of satellite.

@MsVan33 the way you shot that video looks like the camera is very unstable , not the " ufo" it looks like you are moving the camera and cant focus it properly because its zoomed in. its a very low quality video, i guess if you had seen it with your eye and say it changed patters thats for you to know, but judging by this particular video, i can't say that forsure because its vey low quality and clearly zoomed in way to much to focus, its too blockyand choppy to see whats really happening.

if it was moving the same speed and didnt change positions quickly or stayed in the same line in the sky and kept blinking consistantly, thats a sattelite. there is no way of realy telling what that is, its too out of focus, looks very very very far away and you just zoomed in .

I live in Winnipeg,and I always see those kind of lights in the sky. It's a light that blinks red and blue really fast, my husband gets mad when I say it's something from another planet....so I stopped saying it!! haha :D I should record it too sometime, maybe someone knows what they are.

Why is Venus so bright? Venus is covered in a permanent shroud of highly reflective clouds. clouds reflect ~65% of the sunlight that hits it. comparison, the Earth reflects ~35% and Mars and the Moon around 13-15% of the sunlight. Venus being only a bit smaller than the Earth (radius is ~95% as large as Earths). Venus brightness is its close distance to Earth.
