It's just a bundle of absurd assertions based on the superstitions of a bunch of desert roaming goat herders, followed by a wonky pitch. It would be funny if so many people weren't hooked by this scam.

Speaking of comments, I got a channel comment a few days ago from a Christian YouTuber who has brilliantly figured out the only possible reason I could have for being skeptical of Christianity's claims ...

You do not have to go through this act of trying to act intelligent, so as to try to make others believe that is through your brillance [sic] that you have come to your conclusion. oh, great video, definitely a favorite. Too bad it has mixed subjects because the arguments are really good to point out in some isolated situations, but that doesn't take away the greatness of the entire video as a whole. very good

If there is a "god", why would he/she/it "create" innocent babies, and then allow them to die, or suffer pain before they ever had a chance to live? And if there is a god, why do so many things on earth appear to be completely random? BTW, what is the TTS voice you use in the video to read the questions?
And, I agree none of those things you listed should be considered sins if they are meaningful to a person's life.
Honestly, it's the one thing that I don't like about the christian religion is the whole sin part. I think that as long as people have self respect in life, and are kind to others, the belief of sin shouldn't even enter the picture.

You have to keep in mind that in order for his sacrifice to make sense, your sins, no matter how insignificant in your eyes, are deserving of the death penalty. There are people who claim that Kent Hovind should be sent free because they believe that paying taxes is optional.
The very fact that he's IN jail for Tax Evasion in the first place, and the very fact that they even NEED to set up a petition to get him out of jail for not doing something that is supposedly optional, would seem to contradict this idea.
Especially since Tax Evasion was the ONLY thing Al Capone went to jail for.
There are a lot of things I don't understand about these comments you addressed. If we're to live forever in another realm after this, we might as well just be born in that other realm rather than on Earth. So why aren't we? Christians always imply that atheists are sinners. As in her comments here... that if atheists acknowledged god, then they couldn't sin as much as they want.
But the fact are this: the vast majority of rapes, murders and other violent crimes are performed by Christians. The vast majority of the prison population consists of Christians as well. Atheists make up the smallenst amount in these categories. And this holds true when looking at the numbers proportionally as well.

I'm curious as well ,but I'm more concerned about her safety that comes with keeping her identity hidden than the temporary satisfaction of seeing her face for the ten minute video. However, ABC, you should probably tip the camera up slightly so that the whole peace sign is visible at the end of the video.

There are people who claim that Kent Hovind should be sent free because they believe that paying taxes is optional.
The very fact that he's IN jail for Tax Evasion in the first place, and the very fact that they even NEED to set up a petition to get him out of jail for not doing something that is supposedly optional, would seem to contradict this idea.
Especially since Tax Evasion was the ONLY thing Al Capone went to jail for.

There are a lot of things I don't understand about these comments you addressed. If we're to live forever in another realm after this, we might as well just be born in that other realm rather than on Earth. So why aren't we? Also, is it really that unthinkable that some people just can't believe in any god? I mean, I was raised religiously, but I could never bring myself to believe anything I was taught.

And I've wondered about it too, why would we need to spend time here when we're going to be in heaven or hell forever. It's not because god wants to separate the chaff from the wheat, since he supposedly already knows if we're good or bad...

Yeah, that's something I addressed in one of my own videos. Allegedly, this god is alknowing, therefor he already knows why you commited the "crimes" you commited, in which case why should we have to explain ourselves to him, when he obviously already made up his mind?

Christians always imply that atheists are sinners. As in her comments here... that if atheists acknowledged god, then they couldn't sin as much as they want.
But the fact are this: the vast majority of rapes, murders and other violent crimes are performed by Christians. The vast majority of the prison population consists of Christians as well. Atheists make up the smallenst amount in these categories. And this holds true when looking at the numbers proportionally as well.

Unfortunately, those questions raised by believers I think exposes who they really are. Personally, when a believer tells me, by implication, that if they didn't have god watching over them they would be out raping and murdering...it scares the crap out of me.

Well, for me I tend to do the slow boil preceding a sudden loud ka-bang. I keep trying and trying and trying to get it all worked out in some amicable way, but the more it fails, the more the pressure builds...until finally sh-BOOM! I go all, "GRAAAGH! DIE! DIE DIE DIE, YOU PIG FUCKER! GRAAAAGH!"
When people are just simply completely stubborn AND patently wrong as hell...it's just...guh! Difficult to take.

I think this was about the time I embraced my Aries nature. At any rate, now when someone makes that thing in my head go "SNAP!" Even the result of all his circular BS is that anyone can get away with anything they want to, without any punishment, infinite or not, if they want to. There is no sense of cosmic justice in it at all, because no matter how bad you are, you can hit your knees before you die and get eternal reward.
