I believe the strum pattern he is doing is D DUDUDU. So, in visual terms:

Dm Dm F F Dm Dm F F Dm Dm F Am F F Bb(X) F F (Chorus) F F Bb F F F Bb F Bb F C C Dm Bb F Dm Bb F Bb F C C

(X)For this Bb, you just strum down twice. Everything else is the D DUDUDU

I have a question for general ukelele owners.

On the webs, I found a ukelele for just 10 euros. Should I be buying this to try or start with a more expensive (better) model?

Ive been playing guitar for almost two years, btw.

@Orboz NO. buy one for 4 about 30 euros or close. play for a while, learn about 10 chords, learn how to chuck and then buy a nice one (110 euros+)

Great tutorial. I was having trouble figuring out the last part of the picking. I do the intro slightly different, but they're pretty much the same notes. The two strummed notes at the end of the picking I use are Bb and F though.

Great tutorial this is the first song I've learnt on the uke...took me days to get upto speed but nearly there now...one question please.....when you go into the fast strumming I see after the third time you strum F you have a slight chord change but not sure what it is then you goto C and back...not sure how to end and start again at this point??..let me know please.

I have been playing the guitar for a number of years. I bought my 1st Uke yesterday. Which is sad since I lived in Hawaii for 7 years, and I haven't lived there since 2006. This is a great vid. A little hectic at some spots but all in all I was able to get a tab out of it and I've been playing this song since. Great job showing all the different ways to play it. I didn't like the song before your vid, now I love playing it! You're like UKE SKYWALKER showing me how to use the force!!!
