  • epic tone dude

  • add a reverb and delay and it's gonna be wild.

  • Needs more cowbell.

  • how in the world do you afford these things?? i can hardly afford one pedal!

  • Western church music !

  • nice amp

  • So, if you get a sigal short somewhere, how do you figure out where it's coming from ? LOL ! Just kidding, you have an awesome rig.

  • Needs more cowbell

  • i can't remember who said it (think it was jonny greenwood) but a great guitarist said that if you limit yourself to two or three pedals at a time you find much better sounds then if you have 100's and just try putting loads of different random combinations on . you just go in circles but this guy knows what he is doing

  • add some delay to carry the note to do swells and it'd sound amazing

  • i'll give you $1000 to throw a jug of beer all over your pedals

  • I wish I could see what's to the left of the screen. I would assume is another grand spent on that half. You need more pedals.

  • do you like that analogman fuzz?

  • Comment removed

  • which amplifier are you using?

  • Needs more delay and/or reverb!! =)

  • Damn. I went looking for a good demonstration of a POG and found a comment brawl to go along with it! Anyway, thanks for the vid man!

  • Cool sounds. Try this: put a reverb or delay (or both) after the volume pedal, so that the note doesn't die when you pull back on the volume.

  • whats this guy called?

    lol

    sarcasm

  • I like your idea. I suck so instead of practicing, I'm just gonna buy a bunch of effects.

  • You may be Jimi Hendrix on guitar, I still prefer this guy as he clearly enjoys music instead of seeing it as a competition like you.

EVERYTHING that is wrong with the music industry comes from arrogant, malicious, image-obsessed guys like you that think being cool is more important than enjoying music.

You have no basis to say this guy sucks, you've not seen him play more than a few chords to show what the pedals do. The video was helpful to me as I want a POG... What are YOU doing here?

  • @bizarrefruit Wow, I've never seen so much passion on a Youtube comment before. Nice going. First of all, I was joking. Second, I've watched most of this guy's videos as I have an interest in gear. Third, why in the FUCK would I care what you say? I like to listen to music and I like to play the guitar. I encourage EVERYONE to pick up the instrument as I believe it to be the greatest instrument ever created. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings as I forgot how many little girls read YT comments.

  • @louiejack6 @louiejack6 A joke, as in the innocent thing you're claiming it was, is something that all parties can participate in, somehow, I don't think the guy would find it funny. I don't expect you to care what I say, but I do care what you say, you say that's encouragement? Saying he sucks? It becomes my business when people like you are flat out rude to someone who put something up to help others. You can bitch at me, I reacted badly but you owe him an apology. Got the guts to admit it?

  • @bizarrefruit You're being a little silly. I've got the "guts" to admit I'm an asshole but I don't owe him or you a goddamn thing. Here's my apology: fuck you, fuck him, and fuck off. If anyone's bitching here it's you because you clearly are a bitch. I rarely (and I do mean rarely) call people that, but in this case it's an easy call. Please go preach to someone who cares but I'm guessing most people couldn't give a fuck what you say because of one simple fact: you're fucking annoying.

  • @louiejack6 Fine mate, you're wonderful, clever and popular, good for you, keep your attitude. You're the only "joke" I saw in this whole thing.

I'll leave you alone now, good luck in life, you're going to need it.

  • you should make a video of you turning all the pedals on at once. that would be insane.

  • @epitaph664 he would burn his amplifier out smart

  • @GuitarsUnite

not for def. just use a crappy old amp, and do it for like 60 seconds.

  • @epitaph664 Yes, the Twin Reverb pictured and the Orange AD-30 I'm using are real terrible amps...

  • @mynameizbrian lol not one of them, i just mess around with random crap wit this really old marshall solid state, great music is made by experimentation. youd never think of playing a guitar with a lighter, or a power drill, but people did it and its new and fresh

  • like all those pedals are going to make you play any better. what a lame demo. Sell the pedals, Get some guitar lessons.

  • @TribeOfI You know what, I thought about being polite but FUCK YOU, I hate people like you, no videos yourself and come on to slate the guy for having a lot of pedals and not playing a ripping solo?! What the hell is your problem? He probably worked very hard to get the money. I heard the pedal = 100% successful video!

I don't care what clever argument you think you have, what you said was completely unnecessary and if you were a decent human being, you´d apologise. No hope of that though eh!

  • thats a lot of money in this one frame.

  • hey man where do you live? i want all those pedals!

  • did you buy all these pedals new, or preowned or what?

  • mine i'am using Boss OC3 Octave + Chorus Pedal + Overdrive, become the sound of Organ & also Bass Guitar..

  • Hope must of the are true bypass lolo

  • props for the broken social scene poster and insane pedal board

  • My name is Mr. Klarns and I like to eat cheese !!!

    *munch munch munch*

  • i must say, that is one of the most impressive pedalboards i have ever seen my friend. cool video

  • when playing live, you miss some time, right?

using a midi footcontroller is much faster.

  • Hi..what's that black thing U use for activating the Whammy? Some sort of Mod?

    Thx...

  • @almostunimportant actually the edge would say "ha! Loser! you only have x pedals? I have 5times as many pedals and twice as many guitars!" the edge is my favorite guitarist followed by trent reznor jack white robin finck and jimmy page.

  • Sell your effects and feed Africa!!

  • is it good for the organ part in Highway Star - Deep Purple ? thx

  • hey brian how do you like your de7?

  • @Morethanl1f3 I love it

  • @mynameizbrian

    Ibanez DE-7 FTW!

Best cheapest delay pedal out there. I own a $400 delay pedal!!

  • Experimental much? :)

  • MY BALLS ARE EXPLODING!

  • you have so many pedals

  • what do you have the Micro POG set to in order to get the organ sound?

  • no clue

  • @mynameizbrian you're a dick.

  • @Donbon25 Okie dokie.

  • @Donbon25 your mentally retarted

  • @morganchavis Dials up, pedal ON.

  • jack white would say you're making things to easy, the edge would say you're a kindred spirit, wither way, you're dedicated and i can appreciate that.

  • get a looper and you got your self a 1 man band..

  • pedals ......can become an obsession, addiction, condition,.........at least better than chain smoking, boozing, drugs, cars, whores, gambling........... keep on doing mate ,.....it's great !!!!!

  • I would definitely omit whores and cars from your list ;)

  • holy shit ........ that's a lot of motherfucking pedals

  • way cool!

  • I know I would never use even 1/4 of those, but I would kill to have that pedal board (:

I would sell them all and buy a vintage strat XD

  • Got enough pedals there? :D

    Great playing man, awesome sounds.

  • I wish I had all those pedals

  • damn thats alot of peddles!

  • yo, cool broken social scene poster

  • ala verga no te faltan pedales?

  • broken social scene poster at the back!!! u fuckin rock man!!!!

  • That's not enough effects..you need more..much more..

  • i have a decent sized board but DANG THAT THINGS HUGE (thats what she said)

  • was i the only one who heard the first three chords and thought "hotel California"

  • man how much money did u spend on all those

  • what song is that?

I swear ive heard it somewhere else.

    Original?

  • Just playing around, no particular song.

  • beautiful!

  • there really is no need to have a pedal board which is THAT big

  • Your Whammy does not look like it's original! it looks like it's another effect box upon it! a smaller little round box! the one you are turning on in the end of the song!

It was Great by the way;)

  • So how does this Pog baby sound + any kind of distortion? I'd really like to know if anyone tried? :/

  • Got one today, sounds great with octave up and big muff.

  • Micro POG in your preview sounds nice... people always use to play blues and stuff like that..

  • where do you put this in your chain? i see that you have quite a few pedals there. can you tell me what order they are in?

  • Usually ppl who use that amount of pedals (me included) doesnt go after a clean intact tone anyway, even so, you'd be surprise how less you lose signal if you use good patch cables, it doesnt matter if its a long true bypass signal aslong you have good buffers in certain points. In fact, buffer is better than true bypass when you have a long chain. TB is only good when you have like 4 pedals.

  • TB is excellent with 20 pedals. Buffered bypass is crap because some pedals put things other than buffers into the circuit, plus into and out of the buffers and through the fets wastes signal and capacitors shape the frequency. There is very little argument for buffered bypass, and this is it. If you put an MI Audio Boost n Buff (only 1 not true bypass) after your guitar cable you won't load up your guitar pickups and you will pass full tone to your TB pedals. I'm an EE so I know what you don't.

  • 100% correct.

  • hi with all this pedal, how you can keep intact your signal? don't lose it?

  • this sounds kinda cool but not organ like. If you want to hear organ like guitar check out Charlie Hunter. I think he just plays clean into a leslie rotary speaker or sumthin like that

  • Oh God. Who are you really? Omar Rodriguez? I bet you have a whole board full of signal boosters. Surely that many pedals gives you a shitty signal?

  • unless theyre all true bypass.

    still tho thats too much

  • Can't have too much effects and its just like running a really long cable to your amp. And by the looks of it these pedals are all true bypass so they don't effect the signal. But what about the powering of all the pedals. You can't really use them all at the same time or what.

BTW this looks like a typical studio setup...

  • Lot people use power supplies like Voodoo Lab Pedal Power.

  • try this with a rotary speaker simulator, see if it sounds somewhat hammond-ish

  • dude is that dorm at berklee?

  • i hope this dude is using that shit - recording or performance. otherwise that BIG PEDAL collection is a FUCKING waste.

  • That's a huge pedal board you got there! A fine collection, indeed. I want to have one just like that also. Looks so rad to have all of those!

  • have you ever fallen over during a show trying to reach something in the back of the board?

  • probably would work even better with a delay pedal

  • Christ! All this gear is probably worth more than my house!!!

  • Give me your pedals.

    All of them.

  • Nice broken Social scene poster. I want that pedal board!

  • what order is the whammy and micro pog in? Guitar - > Whammy -> Pog, or Pog -> Whammy? Also try practicing the vol pedal with your left foot too.

  • what was he playing in the start???

  • maggot brain?

  • got enough pedals dude?

  • Nice set up my friend!!!! what pedal boards are you using? im looking to switch my set up and am diggin yours. keep me posted

  • Maybe if you didn't buy so many pedals you could get a decent pair of pants..

  • Get a life

  • Get a life

  • best comment 2000-hate.

  • hey are you using 2 pt pro sc?

  • Where did you get the melekko?

  • From Josh Malekko

  • Can the guitar be taken out so it sounds like an Organ alone? Can it sound like a Hammond B3 Organ? Can it sound like an analog synth, minimoog for example? THX.

  • not with the micro pog.

you can add synth in, but you can't take guitar out. That feature's only available on the normal pog and hog unfortunately.

  • Oh darn.... That's useless then. :-(

  • Wrong. Each octave (including dry signal) can be taken in and out in whatever fashion one likes.

  • hmm..

I haven't been able to try the pedal out, but it's only got one 'dry' dial from what i can see.

    how does it work then?

  • Oh hang on it's got two outputs

    Ok i understand now.

  • Oh hang on it's got two outputs

    Ok i understand now.

  • Hey. Can the Micro Pog be powered with anything other than the supplied power adapter.

I'd like to use a BBE Supa Charger, or the DC Brick to power it, but I don't want to damage anything.

    What do you think?

  • yes it can. It can be powered with 9v adaptors:)

  • great effects! have you ever tried the full sized pog? if so, how does it compare to the micro? what was the effect you added at 54 seconds? i couldn't tell if that was the red pedal or something to the right of it. thanks

  • i am not sure looks/sounds like a EH small stone

  • I think it's a true bypass looper for the Whammy.

  • I have another video (i think it's on google) where I add some light chorus

  • I was surprised to see that Broken Social Scene poster. The pedal sounds kick ass man.

  • you seem to have a lot of g's to spare owning all those pedals!!! i gig with only my zoom gfx5, i never had a problem!!! except for those heavy synth-like sounds... that's wer I envy you! but what's the use of having all those effects if ur not using them all in a gig? just a thought.. uve invested way too much on ur effects i think...

  • wow...someone sure does jump the gun on their comments. Who says I don't gig? I actually gig quite often, either solo or in my band.

  • -- i mean, it must really be exhausting for you to be carrying all of your pedals for every gig... that's if the gig is at a different venue every night tho.. as compared to me, maybe you've got a lot more years of gigging experience than me.. no ofense bro, but that's just my comment! rock on!!

  • the guy loves his damn pedals...I want them.

    :(

  • omg the micro pog sounds delishhhh

  • great rig dude but you seem to have way to much background sound from the Power supplies. invest in batteries and a large charger. and dont tell me you cant afford it! lol. but it IS worth it.

  • the background noise is from the camera. I have no noise at all from the pedals, but thanks anyway.

  • k lolz

  • what? dude a good power supply, like a voodoo lab pedal power+ is waaayyy better than batteries

  • no its not. batteries are always better because they arent connected to mains which is where the background noise comes from. plus it depends how many pedals youre using. this dude has like 50. therefore batteries are deffinatley better.

  • your noise usually comes from ground loops dude. and as long as you have a good power supply you shouldn't have any. so what do you do, just keep charging batteries? what do you do at a gig? tell everyone to be patient? batteries die really fast...

  • nice sound

  • does the micro pog add an octave up and an octave down at the same time?

  • Yes. There are 3 volume controls, one for octave up, one for octave down, and one for dry signal.

  • thanks

  • men, on live you must be the most active guy on earth..i find it dificult to control my board, and i have 14 pedas, but you have like 40!!! o my gosh!

  • how much have you dropped on pedals

  • 8,000ish? 9,000ish?
