I play yugioh alot and the downside is that alot of people that play YVD use advance ruling which ruins the fun of playing it as a normal fun game. Like you wouldnt go to school to play advance game you'd rather get the full experience by using most of the cards. I know its to remove the ubers of the game but that'll mean recreating your deck and stratergies.

Every card game has a difference otherwise they wouldnt make them. When the pokemon card game was announced not many people played it since the thought it was only collectable. Yugioh and chaotic card holder know its to play the game since the show revolves around adults play a childrens card game unlike pokemon which is adventure.
