  • Why not point out how they have technology enslaving us- cameras on every corner...but we don't have the same right? We humans have less right than you? You charge 10.00 to get to and from your state...While you promised the Native Americans free roads if they removed their tolls- LIARS, HYPOCRITES!

  • I'm a reptilian..jk

  • That Peterson dude who was a cop and killed 2 wives...why is he still alive yet? These videos could target and expose real criminals...Let's get one neighbor of his to tape his every move...He will kill again otherwise. The coops aren't protecting us- but killing and maiming us!

  • More than likely they are imprisoning YOU for filming THEM for RAPE and/ or murder.

  • This is pure dictatorship!

  • Since when is it the norm for women to go around w/ the chest showing just barely covering the bra? It's daytime women- don't believe the sluts and horrors on TV- stand up and say no to being half naked for men- It's F---in' cold out stupid!

  • @drumheadcircle You sound like a cop because only a cop would have a rapist mindset like you considering that cops commit the highest number of rape and/ or sexual assaults that is SIGNIFICANTLY higher than the general population.

  • @drumheadcircle Let's not forget that cops have the biggest and highest number of domestic violence stats, too.

  • Where are the computer programs Obama promised to show that all civil servants are illuminatti democrats? Why can the government tape us EVERYWHERE we go in Chicago...but we can't tape them to protect oprselves? I am fleeing this area myself soon- computerized persecution!

  • @EqualAndFree

It wont hold up anyway. It's clearly written (and now revised to make it even clearer) it is completely legal to audio, and video a public servant in public. Look up the Glik case, they (pigs) are not immune to prosecution for violation of the 4th amendment, of which this is.

  • The Supreme Court has affirmed more than once that it is a necessary and VITAL right of a citizen to record the police. Anyone fighting charges for taping police should refer to Supreme Court rulings, its federal vs state in that end, and we know who trumps who.

And come on Illinois... classless, backwards state...

  • We did this to ourselves, We some big dummies.

  • The content of this report tells it all. It is time for concerned citizens to march on the state capitol in protest of law enforcement functioning like criminals. Politicians should be served notice that the people will remeove them from office for passing laws to make room for police officer misconduct. Any citizen recording in a public area should reguard any phusical contact to stop him/her as assault and grounds to defend yourself from being harmed. This has got to be stopped NOW!!

  • The Nazi-most-likely chipped police are trying to generate fear and anger in the American people so as to give them more of an excuse to control you. Everyone in America should stop paying taxes as the police are beyond a joke and are totally Lawless!

  • If police officers are doing something bad and you say "HEY I'm recording you". If they're doing good, then what do they have to hide?. If the cops are brutally beating the crap out of someone for no reason and I record it, I get in trouble?. I guess cops can misuse their authority and do what ever?.

  • I live in Illinois and I can say from personal experience that the cops here are ignorant power hungry fascists.

  • The Lulsack or whatever the hacking group is called oughta hack this police department, if not jjust for the lulz

  • Cops don't like it when there is full-proof evidence of their incompetence or dumbassery. If no one can videotape cops, then it's their word versus yours, and who do you think the judge will side with?

  • @DeadFishFactory cops also don't like it if there is fool-proof evidence that they are lying and you're completely innocent of the crime they are accusing you of...funny how their in car videos can "be misplaced" never to be found again when that tape would've completely exonerated you...then it's just your word against theirs in court...happened to me

  • Not only could you be put in prison for filming police corruption, but you could also be held at gunpoint and have your phone/camera destroyed like the man who filmed the Miami Memorial Weekend Police Shooting.

  • wtf t-mobile? umm... hypocrisy on corporate advertising?

  • It is my understanding that you can't record -anyone- without permission if it is a private environment. It's one thing if it's in public, but another thing if it's inside a building. I think that goes with the idea that you can't use recordings as evidence in a court of law if the person did not give permission or acknowledgment of the recording device. I think that only really pertains to audio, though, doesn't it? I think that's where teh problem lies. If you just do video it's fine right?

  • about the groping, if the woman is telling the truth, she has the cop's home phone number, and he should be prosecuted. if she doesn't have his number, she made it up. done.

police investigation, huh? investigation of what?

  • Fuck the police.

  • I better take my security cameras down then.... oh my god.

  • I'm so happy I don't live in the US. Only thing I regret is that we stupid Canadians voted in a majority Harper government. Now we have to lobby against this Canadian version of the Patriot Act that he wants to pass.

  • @Yamikaiba123 Yea! the US will respect border. NOT!

  • oh sorry its very true i just googled and found how crazy this world is and how cops are given freedom to harass innocent people. if i was that girl what i do after 15 years is killing the relations of judge and the cop and let them understand the suffering.

  • This is a lie for sure

  • @tosendprashan

what part? how its a law that you cant tape police officers in those states? cause that is kinda the main point of the outrage in this video. i didnt know that LAWS THAT ARE ACTUALLY ON THE BOOKS could be "lies". interesting.

  • Is this serious? What happened to the Land of the Free?

  • @pubuman"Home of the brave land of the free? Whoever told you that is your ENEMY!

  • @jamescs1969 No, but its what most conservatives in America harp on about!

  • @jamescs1969 "Land of the free and home of the slaves"

  • *Sentence may be served by any cop caught in any actual recorded acts of rape!

  • Fuck the police

  • congratulation the US officially has become a 2nd World country

  • Thanks For This Clip TYT!!!

  • Man it's getting more serious every day. The US is fucked. Glad to live in Europe. I only hope that we can distance ourselves more from US political ideals in the future

  • Since when is illegal to take pictures in public?

  • LAND OF THE FREE!!! FREEDOM!! .../s

  • To be fair, taping someone without their permission and publicizing it is against the law, police officer or not. That's why you see blurred faces often times, as they did not get those people's permission.

Most state's treat this no different whether it be a cop or a random person, so don't overreact when just one state decides to change it up.

  • @wwwpwndcom Yeah, but there's a big diffrence.I'M EMPLYOYING THE POLICE,NOT MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC .You do the policing with our consent ,you are owned and employed by the tax paying public! Bringing the public into the argument is not a good analogy .

    Go on, GEET.

  • @wwwpwndcom yes, if you publicize it, but you should be free to record evidence for your defense to be shown in court.

  • I'll record them without blinking an eye

  • I'll do it in want think twice about it. fuck em if they doing wrong they get the business too.

  • Comment removed

  • We need to organize. We need to have a state wide videotape a cop day or everyday until this law is repealed. A march on Springfield also. This is utter insanity.

  • Since when do TYT care about the Constitution?

This egregious violation of that woman's rights is a perfectly natural consequence of the warfare-welfare state advocated by people like TYT. They've been cheering the Democrats and other Liberals on as they've renewed and expanded the Patriot Act, pushed through Obamacare and the Frand-Dodd bill to name a few.

That they now seem so concerned with the 4th Amendment is laughable, and that to the detriment of this woman and the American people.

  • @vindician

You're full of shit. TYT has many videos up criticizing the patriot act and the democrats and republicans voting for it. I would love to see you explain how the patriot act is in any way similar to the marginal health care reform or the weaksauce financial reform when it comes to civil rights. Maybe you should educate yourself on these things instead of wasting everyones time making up random bullshit.

  • @dinex2 Both Obamacare and the Patriot Act are unconstitutional, enough said.

The Obamacare bill was over 2,000 pages long and included provisons stating that businesses must declare every purchase over 600 dollars, the hiring of 16,000 new IRS-agents, $50B to create a national database etc. The Frank-Dodd bill was equally long, raising the already high costs of compliance even more.

The problem with people like you is that you make up for the lack of facts with personal attacks.

  • @vindician

The problem with people like you is that you make shit up and you believe anything you read on the internet that you want to be true. There were no personal attacks in my reply to you. Only the factual observation that you were talking shit. I would love for you to prove me wrong and show me where TYT has supported the patriot act. But you won't because you made that up.

  • @dinex2 Instead of shouting insults you shuld read what was actually said. The whole point was that TYT don't give a damn about the Constitution when it comes to welfarism, gun control and states' rights. That makes their sudden concern about the 4th Amendment laughable. They don't connect the dots between other violations of the Constitution and this one, which is proof of both ignorance and hypcracy. If you'd thought a little instead of ranting and screaming, you would've noticed that too.

  • RIP USA

  • I live here, wtf! Dam wtf wut if I did that to defend myself or have some sort of power in a situation when no one will listen to me after some kind of injustice has been done to me! I can go to jail for a FIFTH OF MY LIFE?! THAT'S INSANITY!

  • In the land of the free and the home of the brave.

    America is fucked.

  • Its fucken ridiculous.

  • Every time a cop gets killed the world gets a little better.

  • Comment removed

  • enjoy.

  • Welcome to America, the most free nation on the planet. If you're in a position of power, that is. If you're a private citizen, you're only free to do what they tell you.

  • fuck the police. fuck the police. fuck the police. fuck the police. fuck the police. fuck the police. fuck the police

  • @lNumba1BieberFanl yea...youre probably right...people here wont do anything..buncha spineless scared people i live with.

  • Who watches the watchmen?

  • That sucks.

  • OMG america is a feminazi dictatorship

  • So we are to just have blind trust in the police? Never think they will do anything wrong? Bullshit! I've seen these immature, arrogant, trigger happy, supposed do gooders in action personally. Videotaping is our only defense.

  • @enlightened1ish RIGHT ON! I HEAR YA ON THAT ONE!

  • @enlightened1ish lol dont you see, their hypocrisy is starting to come into the light, and will soon undermine and collapse them.

  • @TheCryoScales

This is no defense - because they DO recommend a course of action AND advocacy. It just happens to be resignation and conformitarianism. They do a lot of "pissing in the wind." Identify a problem, and then recommend voting another partisan hack into office. Great plan.

  • America, you need another revolution...

  • It's about time to start frying some bacon.

  • Freedom! As long as you don't go against the establishment ;)

  • Jeez you guys are slowly getting it, this should NEVER happen in the U.S. you guys should be outraged and stand up to that. That's a terrible recipe for the abuse of power. LONG LIVE ALEX JONES

  • I think most laws these days are unconstitutional.

  • Finally a good episode of the TYT...

  • 3 states: Illinois, Massachusetts & Maryland are the 3 states that make it ILLEGAL to record an officer...

  • @North2016 I'm pretty much to the left but it's interesting how those are all blue states. This nation is falling apart.

  • Brought to you by T-MO...AT&T?

  • Welcome to the Fascist States of Military Corporations (USA)

  • What happens if you were taping your family/friends and a cop walks in the frame doing police brutality?

  • Land of the free?

  • I am not afraid of a terrorist taken my freedom throughout history most people lost their freedom by a police state police are armed & retarded they will do exactly as they're told they always persecuted and crucified people they are the same type of people that crucified Jesus Christ and they enjoyed it and they robbed him of his clothing as he was dying just like the police we have today the police love hurting and killing people they are the enemy of the people and always will be

  • people shouldn't interfere with the cops but still if you have a good reason for typing you should be allowed

4-15 years Seriously USA is fascist I'm moving to Finland haha

  • Where are the lawyers? Doesn't everyone know the case of New York Times v Sullivan (1964)? Go read that case and tell me how the state law is not unconstitutional.

    Also read - People v. Beardsley (1986).

  • Fuck da pohleece

  • the elite are protecting their enforcer class, for now, look up what Hitler did with the Brownshirts after he attained power, that's what's awaiting police when the elites are done using them

  • i guess six cops didn't appreciate this

  • How is this not unconstitutional? There has to be some federal law on the books that allows you to tape in public. Can somebody help me on this?

  • I find it interesting that both the city of Chicago and the state of Massachusett are Democrat strongholds where this garbage goes on. Democrats are the party of big government and big government brings this kind of garbage.

  • i call bullshit. i want proof of this. yall talk big now its time to put up or shut up. oh $5 bucks says this comment is removed, voted down till its removed, or marked as spam because in the end its all opinion and no facts.

  • @vada2000 just look it up. go to thefreemanonline

they have a story about illegal filming of cops in illinois. its credible, the foundation for economic education publishes the articles on the site. theres your proof

  • @OneHavenForU well ill be damned it is illegal to film them there.

  • what a cheesy ad at the beginning.

    TYT supports fascism golz

  • Fucken pigs. Seig Heil you fascist, jack-booted PRICKS!!!!

  • We have been teetering on the edge of fascism for some time now and it looks like Illinois drove off that edge. Post this everywhere people. Make sure this is seen.

  • @enlightened1ish I agree somewhat. We're leaning towards that direction, a lot. But we're not fascist. But yeah...for all the yelling and screaming about socialism and communism they don't seem to mind how much we're leaning to the right wing in our policies. Nothing against the right wing or reps. but it's a delicate balance...

  • @eternalyintheshadows I don't know about that. Google the fourteen characteristics of fascism and we seem to nail almost every one of those, if not all of them.

  • @enlightened1ish Arizona beat Illinois

  • What harm would filming do but make sure justice is done fairly?

  • Ha I live here, and cant even find it on our news anywhere

  • Ha I live here

  • Illinois, where the governors make license plates and the cops need protection from the paparazzi.

  • "people of the earth..." / "let us all unite!" 2 good videos,America needs to fight for Democracy!

  • And Im proud to be an American! Where at least I know Im free! And I wont forget the men who died, who gave that right to me. And Ill gladly stand up, next to you and defend her still today. Cause there aint no doubt I love this land God bless the SA. From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills od Tennesee. Across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea. From Detroit down to Houston and New York to L.A. Well theres pride in every American Heart, and its time we stand and say..

  • USA is land of the free, right?... right?

  • Guess this means I'll never move to USA, huh?

  • The people of the US do no care. Look at the top 20 videos for the day, week, or month and you will find sports and entertainment is always at the top of the list. What a pathetic population of sheeple serving our politicians and corporate oligarchy as slaves.

  • @mordred612 And if you think about it this is probably the reason athletes and entertainers make the big bucks. They are valuable in keeping our society in a zombie like state.

  • @enlightened1ish Of course, keeping us focused on other things makes the job of a politician easier, doesn't it? We wouldn't want the people to be informed and present at the discussion.

  • WTF America? I live in AFRICA and yet I have more rights!

  • As history shows, prohibition and supressing public information always works out just fine, right?

  • After a few more incidents like this, I wouldn't be surprised if a anti-police group showed up and started blowing police stations for justice.

  • There's another problem folks. I just watched a music video with over 4 million hits and something as important as this has less than 19,000 so far. Do we give a flying fuck?

  • glad that here we don't have such issues with police :D

  • This is so freakin retarded...

NO cop that knows they're doing something wrong is going to say "yes" to that shit. You've just removed every shred of accountability with this garbage.

This is a clear values statement that says "we don't care about the people, we will protect every violent, dangerous, and bigoted COP out there, but not the citizens."

Seriously, wake the hell up America.

You are nearing the point of no return.

  • fml

  • Maybe if the cops had nothing to hide, it wouldn't bother them so much. Cops are only complaining because they know they abuse their power....Rodney King

  • So if I'm filming outside and a cop walks by I'm a criminal. Love this country.

  • Another fact now is that all video tape evidence presented BY the police is suspect because independent confirmation is legally impossible.

  • @magicpet Naw if you record it on your phone they can dispute the authenticity as the content can be altered then re-copied back in the device ( the reverse theory can be proven ) . They need old school tapes basically. The loophole needs to be examined under the microscope

  • USA can best be viewed as a mirror of it's distorted "enemies".

    pseudo-Islamism, pseudo-communism, monarchism and such.

Within the next thirty years USA will probably have an absolute dictatorship supporting the 150-200 richest Americans.

It's strange to see an empire falling by total corruption, this is probably one way for corporate monopolism to succumb to its final state (absolute dictatorship), subjecting everyone and everything else to different spheres of slavery.

  • Illinois is just the first people. They are trying to curb all the youtube videos showing police brutality. Instead of correcting their behavior they just don't want anyone to see it.

  • and they wonder why black parents tell their children never to call the police and they wonder why black people make records call 'fuck the police'...

  • Police are public servants, they are expected to have a higher standard of behaviour, they are there to protect you, and as they have powers beyond normal people- they should therefore be subjected to more scrutiny, and it should be allowed to for you to record video/audio to ensure that they don't get away with corruption.

  • These cops serves us its not the other way around these laws are so stupid i feel like my whole life is in complete control of these darange control freaks that supposed to protect and serve us not protect and serve themselves and to gain huge bonuses and promotions. I don't give a crap if these guys gonna abuse the law and you wan't evidence to prevent an innocent from going to prison then take out your camera and record what isn't right. I am sick and tired of these cops abusing their power.

  • Spycam. Problem solve. You can get good ones on ebay for dirt cheap. I found a lighter and a pen camera for like $20 each. They will work well to get audio too. If you get pulled over or something.

  • Film they anyway, release it anonymously.

  • Move On needs to get involved in this to organize a rally in Springfield to protest this. This is America and god damnit this type of fascist raping of our rights will not stand. The land of Lincoln needs to live up to it's name and fight this.

  • Somebody should invade and liberate the US.

  • @h4xx0rrx The invasion isn't necessary. The troops are already here. They just need to wake the hell up and get angry.

  • calm down little anarchists this BS is only happening in Illinois.

TBH, instead of whining here you should all actually do something about it, you all have the ability to.

  • @xxxprometheusxxxx I honestly think they are using Illinois to test the police state water. Some much screwed up shit happens in that state. Everyone should just stop calling it Illinois and just start calling it Hitler. :p

  • @st4ticblu3 You bring up a good point about using Illinois to test the police state. They say if it plays in Peoria.............

  • So do police get rapist-like charges if they record citizens without their consent? I think we all know the answer to this... and any time you have one set of laws for police and another set of laws for the people, you have tyranny.

  • The us is such a shit place to live. No wonder the suicide counts are at an all time high.

  • @fishonegg Not really, Illinois is a shitty place to live. I am in Texas myself and it's great.

  • What if you have a cctv camera? Seems a stupid law.

  • ofc the police isnt there to help

  • Yet another reason to stay the hell out of the US. That law removes accountability from the police. Typical of Illinois though, one of the most corrupt places in America.

Don't cops have video cameras on their dashboards and in some cases on their lapels? Do they need the citizens' permission to use those devices? What a joke.

  • next stop police state

  • I bet Illinois is wondering why their state is broke. "We need to put people who record their interviews with the police IN PRISON! WHO CARES about the HIGH COST OF PRISON?" Fucktards.

  • i wipe my ass with america.. idont get it.. how come americans are so proud of being americans... cant you see... your country is shit... has been for a long time

  • ~• US GESTAPO •~

I believe Maryland can B added to the mix as well. Why residents put up w/this S H I T @all.

Quite interesting how obama's right hand man Emanuel swept into Chicago to become mayor & will operate under this public official secrecy law. While obama in DC passes an extension to Bush' Patriot Act, giving his administration the power to spy on Americans anytime, anywhere, 4 any reason or no reason @all.

"Those who SACRiFiCE FREEDOM 4 SECURiTY deserve N_E_i_T_H_E_R"

  • Only the Cops, TSA, Ticket Cameras, and security Cameras, are allowed to record us.

We're never allowed to film our Gods...sorry Civil Servants.

  • China becoming liberal and the USA becoming facist. China seems to be becoming the new free world.

  • @dazzagazza6969 not even close. Not saying we're going in the right direction, but anyone that thinks china has improved one bit since Tiennamin Square is deluding themself.

  • @Newenlightenmentnow China have along way to go, but hopefully they will become more free. I also hope Americans can win their country back from the Wall Street/Government Cartel.

  • @dazzagazza6969 Don't count on it. The Chinese communist party isn't communist, but it holds on to power for the sake of power. That's all you need to habe tyranny. The wall street cartel is disgusting, but their power has been broken before. It'll be an on going struggle in any society.

  • @Newenlightenmentnow but China has less people in jail than the USA. That's some police-state.

  • @ytgv3fc7 Yes the US is overzealous in handing out jail sentences for crime, but show me where the US puts people in prison for speaking out against the government? Yeah exactly. Show me wehre the US harvests the organs of it's political enemies and sells them to people? You have a lot to learn son. You're probably some stupid brainwashed lemming chinese who does what the government says. Or you're an anti-western traitor, either one, I don't give a shit.

  • @Newenlightenmentnow the G20 Pittsburgh event. Google it, watch the video. They're in jail for it. Google Manchester PD and copblock. Same there. YOU have a lot to learn SON, I am the teacher. Google "arrested for feeding homeless" and that too is becoming illegal. The US will not harvest organs only because they would rather see sick people die. I'm 99% anti-American and proud of it. American = terrorist. That 1% reservation is my hope the people rise up and EXECUTE the terrorist leaders

  • What fucking country do we live in, now?

  • @sohappytowatch

    USA

    United Soviets of America

  • Nothing but good can come from recording the police.

    Smh. .

  • How do Illinois and Massachusetts get away with this bullshit ? !

  • Wow. America is getting worse by the day.

  • This is why I like TYT!
