  • 1t2t3t4t5t6t7t8t9t0t I tore my acl playing football and then I tore my lateral meniscus wrestling 4 months later I just did finally have surgery on them both 2 days ago they told me it takes 6 months with a regular acl tear and with a lateral meniscus tear they won't let you bend your knee past a 90 degree angle for the first 4 to 6 weeks if that helps any

  • hey man, Im getting my surgery done in april. How long does it take to walk properly without crutches or any support? (brace is alright)

  • i think i need surgery i completely tore my ACL , MCL and also broke my leg it happened skiing but im 13 so i don't think they will operate this sucks asshole!

  • Hey man, how are you doing with your recovery, i tore my acl and am about 4 months into rehab post surgery, i posted a video as a response :) good luck!

  • Thanks for your reply .Now my knee looks like before it was injured but I got the feeling like a bit lose and sometime I feel like unstable but I don't feel any pain and I can bend it fully. Do you think that it need to do surgery ? I worried that the resualt will be worse than my present condition. That's why , I would like to get your advise .Thanks .

  • @kingnicespeed105128 you need to get an mri to know for sure the extent of your injury. some people have low pain tolerance and it will hurt badly with just a partial tear or sprain and other people can have a complete tear and still limp on it without complaining. so only an mri can tell u for sure

  • Hi Simon , How is your knee now? Can you play the football match again ?My knee was injured three weeks ago by playing soccer. At that time my knee was swollen immediately and it can not bend.According to MRI scan , doctor said my knee ACL torn.So it has to be done surgery in order to play soccer again. Now I am hesitating to do ACL reconstruction surgery because my knee looks like normal and it doesn't feel any pain . Do you feel you knee is fit to play when you play soccer?

  • @kingnicespeed105128 hey man yea my knee is perfectly fine now. If you have just a partial tear, you can simply do physical therapy without surgery but if its completely torn, it will require surgery. Your leg will get smaller and less muscular if it is completely torn.

  • @kingnicespeed105128 Hey the same thing happened to me as what happened to you. I literally just came back from the orthopedic doctor and he told me that i tore my ACL. he said i had two options that i could get surgery and i would be able to play soccer or that i could not get surgery and feel fine BUT that if i was to go back to playing soccer intensively that the same would keep happening, that i would feel fine and the i would injure it and that it would just be a cycle.

  • Does anyone think I'll need this surgery? About a month ago at soccer practice a girl fell on me and weighed as much as me, and I fell and my knee bent behind my leg as I fell and our combined weight of around 300 LBS crunched my knee. I can walk normally for the most part and skateboard some what. I haven't been to the doctors but I also haven't been running since then. I no longer feel any pain just some occasional nerve spasms in my knee. Do you think I'll need to get surgery? Thanks.

  • @FamousSASkater Same thing happened to me i got injured while playing soccer and at first it was hurting but then the pain went away. When i tried to play again my knee gave a away so i did an MRI and i found out i had a torn acl. I would say get an MRI done to see how bad the injury is.

  • @barogino719 Dang, thanks. I might be getting one soon then.

  • do you feel stronger after a surgery on the acl? the same strenght before the injury?

  • be curful

  • I tore my ACL playing soccer last December. I had my surgery on December 31, and everything went well. Three months later I was feeling pretty good, so I was stupid and decided to mess around. Needless to say, right before I stopped doing what I was doing I retore my ACL. I had surgery again, and this time I'm not fucking around.

  • it makes me happy that after 3 months youre back to your sport. I tore my ACL a week ago and i want to return to my sport, skateboarding, asap and im worried about not being able to skate in months like 6 or 8.

  • @Hectorrskates for skate boarding you may have to stop like year

  • thanks so much

  • How's your knee now ConnectEasy?

  • thats bull shit my doctor told me 1 year after my surgery before i could do anything

  • I tore my acl three weeks ago playing soccer. 6 months till surgery and a year till I can play again. Any advice on exercises to do?

  • @candabffs4life get your range of motion first, and once you can do that, do some resistance exercises like squatting and lunges (no weights at first) and Stability ball leg curls etc.

  • 12 years old when I tore my ACL. Had the surgery December 17, 2010. Now I'm 13, and I have 5 days until I'm back on the soccer field :D

  • @TheCrazy243 i torn my acl on april 18th 2010 after that i spent a year with it complety torn and i could do everything i had the operation june 7th 2011 and i can tell you it hurts alot when the pain tablets start to wear out you feel everything and it sucks ass trust me every morring it is the worst cos you have been sleeping like 10 hours and then wake up to pain iam 6 or 7 days after the op and it still sucks can wait till the pain goes

  • I torn my ACL on March 9th 2011 playing basketball . From now it 3 months I ran, jumped in the pool, ride a bike, playing with my friends, run down the hill with AN COMPLETELY TORN ACL! Never give up .

On June 17th 2011 is my surgery wish me luck I'm only 15yrs old..

  • @whitetigerpals

I believe your own hamstring graphs are much stronger than donors?

  • Nice Channel!

  • I GOT FRACTURED MY KNEE LIGAMENT.I HAD DONE AYURVEDIC (INDIA) TREATMENTS.NOW I CAN WALK PROPERLY BUT SOMETIMES I HAVE PAIN THERE.CAN'T RUN OR ELSE.CAN JUST WALK.EXPECTING WITHIN 3 YEARS I CAN RUN AND PLAY GAMES.

  • I completely tore my acl and I have to get this done...I don't know whether to get a donor or use my own...and I also want to know if anyone has had this surgery adn been successful enough to not have had torn it again...I just want to know it's possible

  • @whitetigerpals I had completely torn my acl too. On October 4 2010 I had my surgery. I used my own. It's said there is more chance of an infection or of it not fully adapting to your own knee if you use a doner, but if you use your own it will take a more time to completely recover. But over all, your recovery depends entirely on you. You are the one who is going to have to work hard and push yourself to get better.

  • Hello, I have just been told that i have a full torn ACL and need surgery, What is the recovery time untill you do not need assistance with crutches? thanks

  • Im english and in March 2009 i tore my ACL during a training session for the Arsenal u13s academy, Arsenal released me and now i have recentley signed for Peterbourough United u15s, one problem is that whenever i go into tackles or try to do a skill, i can feel my ligament move or tear or something! its makes me cringe and i just stop dead, even if i was 1 on 1 with the golie, i can't stand it anymore, has surgery caused any problems?

  • @1GoLeggett1 yea man it felt like that on me for a little bit too. You're young but you should begin resistance exercises. Do free squats without weight so that your muscles get stronger. The weakness in your ligament is usually due to a muscle imbalance

  • i just tore my acl playing soccer too. i have surgery in two weeks. i also have preseason in august which is exactly 6 months from surgery. how did u feel once they cleared you to play? how was the transition?

  • @gscriga Once I was cleared to play I felt pretty good. My knee was fine and my fitness was alright. My positioning and awareness were a little off because of being out of gamelike situations for so long. But your knee will be perfect.

  • @ConnectEasy werd! good lookin out. im just tryin to see how imma be ready for all that preseason runnin. what month did u start shootin again?

  • @gscriga like 4 months in i could shoot full strength. I waited that long just cuz of doctors orders. But I could still do longballs and stuff after about 3 months just not everyday cuz it would still swell up after any exercise i did.

  • @ConnectEasy thanks for your help bro!

  • do u freestyle??

  • @JammyFS nope i dont really freestyle i just play alot of futsal and indoor 5 v 5

  • @ConnectEasy cool i used to play futsal been thinking if it start playing again, i recently got asked by liverpool as well

  • This guy was able to play ball and suck his dads cock only 24 hours after surgery.

  • I tore my ACL on September 1st playing football for my schools Varsity team. I had surgery, fianlly on October 18th. At this point, i can walk on it, *Just started walking last weekend* My physical therapy sessions suck so i do research online and just do my own physical therapy, so far im good. BTW i can't walk without the brace, not allowed to or i can jeopardize the ACL. I had hamstring graft, so my leg still has next to no muscle, and it's still swollen, any1 know when swellin 'll be gone?

  • in may of this year i tore my acl mcl and meniscus going up for a lay up and after 5 months im about ti get cleared to play fully so dnt get down and depressed if u get injured just rehab and push through the pain and u will come back faster than the doctors expected trust me i kno

  • acl is no joke, if this really happen it's great, i mean i wish i could do this , i had surgery on 7/2/10 i went to P,T for about 2 MONTHS, it;s been 3 months seens my acl surgery, and i can;t do what im seeing in this video, i'll be scare just to try to do it

i don't want to hurt my new acl, i still can't bend my leg completly like i use to, so i'm really afraid im going to stay like this for ever, soccer it's my life my passion, with out it i'm sad, i can't wait until im back at the field

  • HI, I AM GETTING SURGERY TO, AND I WAS WONDERING HOW MUCH TIME DID IT TOOK YOU TO START TO WALK WITHOUT ANY HELP???? AND LIKE HOW MANY DAYS OF PAIN

    ???

  • to everyone saying that this is not possible... i started juggling two days ago. its only been 7 weeks since my surgery. i guess its not impossible. also when they give professional players a 6 month recovery period it means that they cant get back out on the field till six months because the knee might be re-injured not because they can't do it. Most professional players will be okay after 2 months, what the doctors worry about is the bone not having completely healed yet.

  • getting this surgery son for my miniscus and acl reconstruction good to see it repairs well enough to play, but play rugby insted, its a real sport ;)

  • If they are surgical incisions they arent from arthoscopic ACL reconstruction. & if you had any kind of surgery on your knee then this deff isnt 3 months after. It's easy to take a video a yr or 2 after and say it was 3 months after surgery. I dont believe it. I fully tore mine playing basketball. To repair they took a graph from my hamstring. Which means building a new hamstring from scratch. My hamstring and all my quads have fully grown back after 8 months if this is true then its a miracle..

  • @MrThatNiqqaa you gotta read the other comments. I got cleared to touch a ball. I hadnt even started jogging yet at this point. I asked the doctor if I could juggle and he said as long as its controlled movements and no impact on my knee then I could do it.

  • @ConnectEasy oi mate i have done my acl and you aint doing no twisting or turning nd you didnt even show the actuall scars from acl just key hole you nob lol you should have two big scars and two small ones from keyhole your such a lier and your tricks are ameture i play football for chelsea accadamy you mong they are wank

  • I tore my ACL on sep 19. I had an ACL reconstruction on Nov 17th.

After an ACL reconstruction it takes 6-9 months for your leg to fully recover. Docs will submit you to physical therepy 1 full month after your surgery. It has been 8 months since i've been going to physical therepy and my knee is just getting to full strength. I went thuu a brutal 8 months of p.t with a therepist who was once a trainer for the NY Knicks. This video is bullshit ! & those scars are not from surgical incisions !

  • Doing tricks and all after 3 months is easy.

But playing full matches again is a whole different story.

I've had my ACL and meniscus torn. 2 surgeries in 7 weeks time.

I was out for 11 months before I could even start playing a match again.

  • it hurts i tore my acl in my first game has the starting keeper, now it still hurts even though im cleared to play when i did it i was 15

  • I just got Acl surgery plus some meniscus removal for shaping. I love soccer and this pass week has been hell the pain was insane. Today I was feeling a little bit down and then i saw this video and i have to say THANK YOUUUU! this made me feel so much better. I am going into week two of recovery and my knee hurts a lot but i am working through the pain. and hopefully in 3 months i'll get the clear from my doctor to let me start juggling! THANKS again!

  • 3 moths ?? isn't that much to early? my doctor told me to go jogging etc. after 4 months. but risc-sports like football, handball etc. only after 6-8 months...

  • hey im 17 i just tore my ACL skateboarding a couple weeks ago and im supposed to have surgery in a couple weeks and im pretty curious as to how long you think it would be before i can skate again. its tough for me cus i have been used to skating almost everyday for the past 6 years and not being out in the sun all the time anymore is killing me

  • @sigalig hey i tore my acl and both my medial and lateral meniscus and i ahd to be on crutches for 6 weeks to let the meniscus heal. it will probably be a good 6 months before they will let you skate again, as injuring your acl again will be highly likely if you dont wait for it to heal.

  • its been 3 months since my acl and miniscus surgery look at my video of me now after 3 months go 2 pink13092 and watch the second video or type in 3 months after acl surgery (14 year old basketball player)

  • check out my 3 month after acl surgery... first time i touched the basketball since march 25 :) type in pink13092 and click on the second video or type in 3 months after acl surgery (14 year old basketball player)

  • wow i broke my femur and i couldnt walk for months but im 11 10 when i broke it

  • i have had 6

  • i started playin basketball at 3.5 months post op. check out my vids if you like. tryna get one up of me playin basketball

  • What happens if you tore the knee again after the surgery in 6 months or more? please i need the answer

  • WTF it took you 2and a half months to juggle after an arthroscopy ?

I tore my lateral meniscus and I was back playing basketball 5 weeks after surgery

I guess some people heal differently

  • @filahohi dude that's a completely different surgery. Why would you start talking shit when you don't know what the fuck you're talking about?

  • what is that song called?

  • me too

  • i just tore my acl i will be reciving surgery on March 30.

  • This guy's problem was the meniscu's. Not acl.

  • I tore my acl in July 09 and i didnt get my surgery till Jan 29th 2010

  • dang. i tore my acl playing basketball on december 5th. had surgery january 19th. im not cleared to play until late november. /: i wish my recovery was only 6 months.

  • most professional players like "PEPE" Real Madrid, or Paolo Guerrero from Hamburg, are given 6 months after ACL surgery to go back playing, there is no way that after 2 short months you get that recovered

  • wow thats really wierd. i tore my acl on december 20 2009. still havent got surgery tho

  • @paulelunico i got cleared to start juggling after 2 and a half. i wasnt allowed to play until 6 months duh

  • i tore my whole acl 100 percent gone and my lateral meniscus. my doctor said i couldnt do anything for a year but i starting practicing and competing again after 6 months.

  • i think this guy tore his ACL but he def didn't have it fixed. those scars look nothing like any ACL scars i've every seen. i think he just fixed the meniscus.

  • When I had surgery for my torn ACL I had the same scars. There should be usually 2 scars on your upper thigh and the other scars near your Knee. This is due to the fact they do the surgery with cameras and mechanical equipment. I was told to wait 7 months before playing soccer/football again. The fastest I recovery I know is that of footballer Roberto Baggio, he was fit in 3 months.

  • every doctor have their own way to do acl surgery!

i got mine 3 months ago and i can get 130degres of flxion and 0degre of extention!

some of my buddys already have full extention and flexion!

Its all different by which kind of operation and which doctor!

  • fuk broo i did something similar too youu and i am getting my surgery done tomorow shit doctors said no soccer for 6 months

  • mine said 1 year -_-

  • Keep your heads up guys! I tore my acl and fractured the top of my tibia a couple years ago. I had reconstruction using hamstring muscles, and last winter I started playing indoor again, and this summer I am bak playing in an Over 25 men's rec league. I'm maybe not as fast as I used to be, but I can still play and be competitive! Someone already mentioned it, but, strengthen your hamstrings! They are key to stabilizing your knee, and also stretch! Flexibility will prevent injury! Good luck!

  • Yeah its my freshmen year in college and I just torn my ACL in training camp, OUCH. anywaay thanks for the video, you rock!

  • this is 3 months my physio serd i mite strech my graft if i did shit liked kiicked a footy to early - i had arthriscopic surg btw.

  • my doc said if u have strong quads and calfs u can lessen the chance of tearing ur acl thus making it stronger

  • im 15. tore my ACL and lateral Meniscus. surgery 3 months ago. still in therapy. not cleared to run/jog yet. can do ball touches and shooting but thats about it. any hope?

  • yeah, maybe acl after surgery is stronger than before, but its will be come time when the acl is not strong like at the start ;/

  • hi im 7 weeks post op..how were you at 7 weeks and when did u start playing again..thanks

  • hi , im 15 and tore my medial meniscus had surgery 2 and a half weeks ago jus interested to know how long yu were out for and when yu were walkin how longyu were on crutches exercises etc WB many thanks

  • yo for meniscus the recovery is only 2 months before u get cleared to play again. for me i was on crutches for 3 weeks then therapy till the 3rd month

  • Comment removed

  • naw arthroscopic isnt that invasive. itll be a few months at most.

  • Yeah i know its not invasive but i cant play sport for 12 moths tho still. But na ill be back good as its just a bitch - my injury i dont know about anyone elses was way to easy done

  • i was back wakeboarding and riding my dirtbike within 6 months... no problem got a little sore after sports for a while and cold weather killed it (still gets sore) but ive had no problem with it skiing bumps or doing any sports... hammie still gets a little sore after sports but a good stretch helps that out fine... just ask ur therapist when he thinks ur good enough to get back into sports

  • hi! I`m 19, and 4 weeks ago i had this surgery. i dont play football by 8 moths, and i will not to play by next 8 months :( i love this and i want to play but im scare about my knees :(

  • Tore my ACL Playing Footy - im only 15 :( Getting surgury - ill be bak playing but.

  • i'm getting this surgery what are the specs of this i found out this today and dunno what to expect but i read that its 6 months MAX then u can play sports again and it 100% even heard than it might be better than was before is this true?

  • Take your time man!!!! ACL is serious shit.

It torned my ligament twice ... that's cause after my first surgery I began to soon! After my second, I really took 7 to 9 months without sport !!!! No I'm playing more than a year without pain. BTW, I play soccer.

Good luck, just don't start too soon.

    D.

  • after acl surgery i can no longer run. the pain inside the knee is too intense and sharp. 5yrs after acl surgery i still cant run and my muscles r geting weaker. the doctor says my knee bones are worn out. is this the end?

  • that kind of juggling is wad i really miss to do. i tore my acl 7 months ago but im not getting surgery. not yet anyway. nice to see ur back playing.

  • i heard around 3-4 years

  • your acl will never be like it was before you tore it even after 3-4 years. your acl will never be 100% again

  • my doc. told me that my acl was going to be stronger than before and so far after 7 weeks it does feel strong

  • well my dad tore his acl and he use to run 3 miles a day and now he cant run and i have had 4 friend that have torn theirs and they have not been able to perform as good as they did on the football and baseball feilds because of running issues but i guess it could have something to do with how they repair it.

  • man, im a wrestler and my first day back from an wrist injury i tore my right ACL, IT SUCKZ!!!!!!!!! Best of luck to u in your recovery.

  • i tore my acl playing football and 1 year later i tore my pcl playing soccer

  • i tore my acl on december 21st playing basketball

  • thats weird i tore my acl on the same day during state cup finals

  • pretty good street soccer skills.. but that doesn't automatically make u a good soccer player. i notice u dont use ur left leg that much in the video, is that the one that u had the surgery on? im 3 months into therapy, not allowed to use the soccer ball yet.. and dont want to take the change of messing it up again :)

  • was those picture after 3month of surgery?

  • ya u pretty rusty, good luck on recoverin tho bro

  • hey man.

  • I tore my ACL, MCL, PCL, and Meniscus a while ago. Had the ACL and PCL redone at the same time and was walking in 2 days and then had the MCL redone about 4 months later and only used crutches at school because of the long walks to class. Nice job recovering. Looks like your almost back to 100% already.

  • impressive that your recovery has gone that well. im three weeks out on a tear in my left knee and i also had a meniscus, so im on crutches for a month. did mine playing soccer, and i would kill to be out there juggling right now. sucks seeing my team play the entire season witohut me.

  • hey guys i just had my surgary june 19th and im goin to the doctor tommmorw i have a physical therapy machin i tore mine skateboarding how long you think i can skateboard again???? please comment back

  • Congrats! You are very good. I am envy indeed. I hope these skills reflect to your game. It would be fun to watch you playing. Keep up good rehab therapies. Do not hurry for playing any competitive game until 8-9 months. You will enjoy better then. Remember the graph does not have nerve to let you know if you over did it. Be patient and let it bond well to your bones. It will be faster at your age. You are really good.

  • Ei Mate... i had my ACL repair 2 weeks ago,

i cant still fold my knee right now but the pain has lessen now..i injured mine playing Basketball..what did you for recovery and strengthening mate? bye the way nice juggling..

  • I know exactly how you feel, I'm three months out from surgery right now, Tore it playing indoor football. Hope you get well and can get back to the pitch, and beleive me, I miss the game as much as you do.
