Dana has always been my favorite, from the first time I saw her at the City of Night in Tallahassee in the 70's. I saw her a few years later at EL Goyas--with Bobbi Lake, who had also been in Tallahassee during those days. But lost track over the years, I would love to see her agin!

I saw Dana Douglas perform in Tallahassee in the late 1970s. (At that time, I understand Dana Douglas was a man. I understand he had a sex change operation since then.) I am glad to see that (as of this video on Oct. 19, 2009) she is still alive. So many female impersonators from that time period died of AIDS.
