  • Hey about that knot you mentioned in you vid, the Ju I knot. I can't seem to find it anywhere or even a mention of it. Do you think you could demonstrate it?? I would really like to learn how to make it, the symbolism is fantastic.

  • Holy crap this is the hardest knot I have done yet! Took forever to tighten! Thanks for the vid.

  • wow man you have serious macrame skill.

  • thats just beautiful, cant wait to get some chord and try this out, thanks so much xx

  • this sounds like a porn song

  • Buenisimo. Me encantó

  • OMG It's great.!!!

    :D

  • Hi tiat,

this is great.. I love it..

one question.. how did you end it.. at the end you only hold on to 2 rope.. what happen to the other end..

  • I took up the slack until the bight that was hanging off the hook disappeared. You can also tie the knot in hand (not hung off a hook), but this way of tying the piece eliminates the ability to clearly film the technique.

This last fact is probably the reason why I've never seen anyone show how to tie this piece in hand.

  • Hi tiat,

thanks for the reply.. yes i thought of it on my way to work as well..

    thanks

and i like how you had it pause every step of the way.. it made it easy to follow..

  • Great videos - I'm learning a lot! Thanks!

  • sum1 paid attention in cub scouts

  • Awesome tutorial. I can't actually tie it yet, but that'll just take more practice. All complicated things take practice, not simply a youtube video and some immediate magical understanding and muscle memory. :)

    Thanks for posting this.

  • eey dude you really know how to knot. what kind of rope do you use in most of your video's. I want to buy some rope to learn knotting myself. Greetings, Wesley (Netherlands)

  • It sucks that your pause button's broken.

    TIAT ~

  • hahaha that is so funny.its hard to paause a video while your holding a string half way through a knot.

  • yea not as bad as that double backflip tutorial in which the girl keeps on failing

  • @TyingItAllTogether hahaha i like u besides ur a great teacher , ur funny too :)

  • @TyingItAllTogether Hey TIAT, just dropped by to show some love, great job and thanks for the tutorial.

  • i agree but definatly not worst tutorial ever

  • @45ght: simply start with a single double coin knot at the end of a bight then continue as normal

  • do you know how to tie a shrimp?

if so can you post a video?

    these knots are cool

  • The tutorial was great EXCEPT the ending. Near the end, the knot was in the center of the screen with two ends going up and two ends going down. The screen changed to "the finished knot" with just the two ends going down. How did you make the quantum leap to make the top ends go away?

  • just start out working closer to the hook that holds the rope/string

  • when you tighten it up it will be what you saw

  • genial!!!

  • Great job on the video, thanks for posting it. I recently recreated the same knot in silver wire. As a jewelery project, needless to say it is stunning knot in any material.

    Thanks

  • O.O wow! thak god you guys give such clear tutorials, or i wouldnt know where to start!

  • awesome!!!!!

  • thx for showing these wonderful techniques!
