Meaning, gentlemen, that Up is Down is because the Locker of Davy Jones is at the Bottom of the Sea, and therefore to get Up to the land of the livin' one needs to rock his ship upwards and upwards and downwards and eventually Up. How much do ye know of Davy Jones????... So all one needs to do is to rock his ship back and forth, hold on until sunset, and wait for the flash of green light to shoot up into the sky at sunset. Best song in all of the POTC albums by far... It's Celtic without being typically so... Combining classic Hans Zimmer rolling brass section undertones but with a delightfully descriptive combination of other elements. PERFECT soundtrack song!
