Dude this is amazing, love what you do with the whole instrumental studio!
It's one thing to sit around and jam on the hapi, but to put together such an excellent piece of music with these obscure instruments, yet it a conventional fashion.. it's truly remarkable, to say the least, can't wait for more
Excellent music and excellent job with fading the visuals into the music. Great as usual. So..whens the next CD out?Did I miss it? I have the first you made and listen to it quite a bit!
@kingovviking Fishing line for the strings, 2-3 lb test. That's not cheating, the bands "Huun Huur Tu" and "Chirgilchin" (master traditional Tuvan players) use fishing line too. Can be up to 90 strands for the low string and 40-50 for the high string, though you can use less too. Keep them as parallel as possible, if they get too twisted you won't get good harmonics or that "igil" sound.
awesome. thats an amazing sound. love it. whats the name of the instrument ur playing with the bow, is it just two strings? ill definitely be looking into the hapi slim drum, that sounds great. cheers, Gavin.
Very nice music and interesting sound! It sounds like electric guitar ( I suppose it is an arab, maybe Irany instrument).
