  • What magneticrose said, it is amazing. and now excuse me, I think I am going to watch an awesome movie.

  • Is this a movie or a show or what. IDK and head hurts from trying..

  • show de bola

  • The best AMV i've saw, realy ever!

  • i had this a while back, but through a series of unfortunate events i lost it. i remember thinking it was like ghostbusters. but now i know the name of the anime. thanks :3

  • the sequences and timing were in sync and some of the scenes just fit well with the music. Man Kevin Caldwell was quite the visionary when making this

  • This amv would actually be good inspiration for a survival horror game.

  • I like this version of the song. I wonder who the artist is.

  • @Lacreri It's Kristina Bach

  • @Lephith Thank you! :)

  • OMG! This is the FIRST amv that i ever see when i was discovering the world of anime/manga!! Got it in a free cd some time.

  • I just raped the Replay button.

  • I totally remember downloading this off of WinMX like... 7/8 years ago.

I totally forgot about it until now. I always wondered what anime it was from...

  • uffffff gooooddddddddd =DDDD

  • What is the name of this anime?

  • @azifri It's part of an anthology called "Memories" - this particular section is "Magnetic Rose", and is quite enjoyable.

  • @ironballs16 Wow! thank you!! I wasnt able to figure out where the animation came out.

  • what is the name of this amv video, ive been searching for it for sometime now,

  • For those interested, the woman who sings this is Vanessa Mae. Now don't go downloading ;)

  • @ironballs16

    Massive unlimited facepalms =_=

  • In my opinion it is the best AMV for phantom of the opera!

  • I think the only people coming close to Kevin would be Joseph Croasdaile and whoever is behind the name Nostromo.

  • This is what got me in to anime :)

  • This was made in 1998 by the most famous AMV artist of all time - Kevin Caldwell. It was the same year I performed the main character onstage in the same venue - Anime Expo. At the time, Kevin entered anonymously, along with his In Morte Sumus (Evangelion) and It's a Beautiful Life (Golden Boy). Without so much as a judge knowing his true identity, he swept all three categories - Drama, Act/Adv and Comedy. An unforgettable moment in AMV history, changing the way music videos were made forever.

  • Now I need to rewatch Magnetic Rose.

  • I remember seeing this at the anime convention in my city. And I loved it. And I still love it. Great work ^^

  • Awesome AMV. I remember this being this first AMV I've ever seen. I was speaking of "The Phantom of the Opera" when a friend of mine overheard me and loaded this up.

    Great job. /no1

  • Just to let people know, this AMV premiered May 30th, 1998, a very early time for AMV's.

  • This was very well made, one of the best I've found. Please give my regards and praise to the creator where ever and who ever they might be. A+.

  • the anime seems kinda odd... but the amv is very well made :D

  • great song XD!!!!!

  • what's this anime about

  • I saw it a long time ago it is about the two dudes I think on a scaverger mission and run across this abandoned entertainment satalight. Then the robot chick there starts getting crazy trying to keep the long haired guy. The other guy tries to save him ,so the chick tries to kill him.

  • wow this was amazing o.o!~ what anime is this?

  • we love Kevin Caldwell

  • finally! I once got this off of kazaa...but had no idea about the anime or who did it...thanks!

this was a great AMV by the way!

  • No. The original is from some kind of musical(?), Nightwish did their own version and this is another version, not Nightwish's.

  • The voice you are hearing under this AMV is that of Sarah Brightman from The Phantom of the Opera. Sadly I don't know who did the techno version.

  • I think that this version is from Andrew Lloyd Webber. But Tunatic says that to me, mabye it's not true.

  • In fact, no.

Andrew Lloyd Webber own the original.

  • Finally I founded: This version is from Harajuku.

    Your're welcome

  • u ever considered clicking on "more info" in the upper richt? :D

  • god, her voice gives me chills!

  • Shame the synch is off a fraction of a second. He always hated that. If you're going to take a video made by VCR to VCR, you have make an extra effort to make sure the synch is correct.

  • well done, but contains spoilers, so you may want to see the anime first.

  • Actually, by seeying this AMV was the reason i Bought the Anime!!

  • Always liked this AMV.

  • i tip my hat to kevin caldwell. 5/5. Truly a masterpiece among AMVs.

  • This is an amazing video. One of teh best Ive ever seen!!

  • Do you happen to know if Kevin Caldwell Made more AMV's? 'cause if this one is a Master piece, defenetly the others will be for a "must Have AMV Colecction"

  • This was actually an earlier one. He did make several others and all of them are very impressive. Engel and Believe are considered his true masterpieces (though it's never been settled which of the two is the absolute best).

  • This is a fucking good AMV. Keep it up!

  • Man it toke forever to find the name of this anime

  • I loved this episode in Memories. I still didn't understand whether the guy died at the end or not.

  • well he didnt die couse you see his eyes open and blinking but he probably died abit after that when his oxygen tank ends lol

  • Everyone exept him died though. Even if he survives, traumatic shock. But he most likely died.

  • Actually no his ship is right there so it could easily save him. Once they get their systems online so he'll be there for a while.

  • sarah brightman isn't singing in this version. what anime is this?

  • check the info to the right

  • Magnetic Rose from MEMORIES

  • melhor amv de sempre

  • who sings this and who remixed it?

  • Sarah Brightman sings this, I dont know who re-mixed this classic, but they did a good job

  • It's from Harajuku. The album is called "Phantom Of The Opera - The 94 Remixes". Dunno who exactly sings it.

  • WoW. That was great, very interesting and you made the song fit perfectly. 5/5

  • The guy who posted it didn't make it...

  • Thanks for stating the obvious!

  • Just replying to some comments.

  • excellent work. seen this awhile ago on an amv website, still excellent to see.

  • now that I watch it again, it's like the woman is the phantom, and the guy with the long brown hair is the one under the spell!

  • that's the way it is in the anime.

  • Excellent - loved it!

  • me encanto este video el que lo hiso supo combinar perfectamente la bella voz de sarah con el vido y la combianación salio perfecta.
