The lettering on the decklid does not look original. Pity. The car is now worthless, I will take it off his hands and dispose of it properly at no charge.
This car were on my list of cars i wanted to buy when i got older. I had it in a car game. You now the kind of game you drew a car an your frinds also drew a card. Then you would compare who had the card and car with the most cylinders, or the biggest engine.
Amazing car! Very beautiful and build very well. The older Porsche cars, particularly the late 70's and early to mid 80's 911s are my favourites! Thank you for posting this video.
This car potentially has the script on the whale tail backwards. It reads "Carrera Turbo".
I have a 1976 Porsche 930 and it's about as original as you can get. It's script reads "Turbo Carrera". Other 1976 930s I've seen have it as "Turbo Carrera"..
Any thoughts? Perhaps European cars have it reversed from cars shipped to the USA?
I don't think european cars ever had anything other than 'Turbo'; it was only in the US that you had 'Turbo Carrera" - but never seen Carrera Turbo - weird
@OYAHHH This is clearly a US car. Euro cars were designed as "Turbo". Only USA cars remained as a Carrera, the "turbo" was added,as it was a turbocharged Carrera,it became a "Carrera turbo".

Nice. Remove the carrera badge though. This is a turbo. The badges are only stuck on, so should peel off ok with care.

If you hadn't read the description of the video you'd say it's German, Dutch or even French.

I've heard these are pretty difficult to drive with the rear engine design... It would take a lot of practice to master.
