  • i threw a worm at the waterdish now he knows where to get water (: haha 40 mins later he went to get water lol

  • im sry Daggit died

  • Omg I apologize sorry

  • Omg I hate ur voice it's annoying

  • lol at 2:20 it looket like he was trying to eat the bowl :)

  • Thats the same method i used an it works SOOO well!!!

  • i just got my baby bearded dragon yesterday and last night he woke up and played in his water dish.... lol now i woke up to have to clean his tank

  • Omg your voice is so annoying

  • Thanks dude that helped me out so much, Gimli finally drink!!!!!

  • love the vid the most on drinking!

  • thanks alot, I thought mine would just know to drink out of it after he accidently did when a cricket got in it and he licked the water which he actually drank!

  • how long after they learn to drink from the bowl do you need to drop water in it

  • thanks for the info

  • you dont need to teach it to drink wata just take a spray bottle and spray down the dragons till they lick there lips with their tongues.

  • This is actually really good info. Thanks a bunch!

  • or buy a water dish and drop a gold fish in it trust me he/she will learn about water quickly.

  • My Spikey will drink from his spray bottle if we spray close slow and gently

  • rockmania27 u are very smart u really love ur bearded dragon

  • how long did daggit live

  • real footage of being stupid

  • What king of shitty terrarium is that? Why don't you use sand instead?

  • @TheOmgmewmewcat if they eat something and the sand is on it, it could cause impaction. and could result in death

  • Nice vid

  • i found this video very helpful since my beardie hates vegetables. i usually let the water run from the faucet and she drinks that. this should make things a bit easier. thank you! :)

  • I love how he kept sticking his tongue out when he saw the dropper. XD

  • Thank you so much for this vid mate, it's the best advise I've had. My bearded dragon hasn't drank from her water bowl yet but i went out today and got a dropper.... She loves it man!! So thanks a million :-)

  • Man your berdie drinks like a boss when he get all puft up

  • best drink vid good job kid

  • aaawww. cuuuuute. (1:49 - 3:14)

  • im so sorry for your loss

  • Really good thanks

  • it would be easier just to put a bubblestone in there . they like the bubble movement and will dive in

  • Thanks a MILLION!!!!!!!

  • me and my dad are gonna try this, are bearded dragon is called ... wait for it ..... IZARD :D :D :D :D thumbs for this name

  • hey, good idea and very helpful =) i also like to mist my bearded dragon every morning when i wake up.

  • @chambers104 When you mist your bearded dragon the humidity in the tank will most likely go up. Make sure it doesnt get to high. The humidity should be 20-30.

  • @DBdestroyer12 thanks for the tip :) i always take her out of her tank to mist her in the mornings.

  • @chambers104 Ohhh nevermind, lol. No problem though. I've never done that before do they like it?

  • @DBdestroyer12 mine really loves it. you can buy the mist bottel at pet co or or petsmart.

  • @chambers104 I tried it and he likes it a lot. Thanks!

  • @DBdestroyer12 no problem.glad he enjoys it =) just make sure the waters not to cold or he might freak out...i made that mistake once...oops lol

  • @chambers104 haha, will do!

  • Great job dude

  • i'm gonna try this

  • We just got a beardy. Thank you for this video. Shame on anyone who makes hurtful comments. I'm sorry for your loss.

  • Thx

  • This is EXACTLY what I needed! Thanks!

  • Great video dude! I will be trying this when I get home! Sorry for your loss as well mate!

  • Sorry about your lose. :(

  • how do bearded dragons get water??? someone plz tell em D:

  • You bearded doesnt have any spikes on his head

  • Thanks!!!

  • thanks

  • he was thirsty p.s yesterday my lizard died:(

  • what happened to daggit??? how old was he??

  • simplesta nd fastest way either get a reptile water fall, or just the pump and put it in a large water dish thingy, if the beardies see it moving they'll always drink from it, they need to be bale to see it

  • your voice is loud

  • This is awesome! I do a similar method to do it ( I have a spray bottle and squirt it into his water dish and he goes to it) well done for this vid I hope it goes on to help people in the future and I hope Daggit has made many friends wherever he is now :)

  • Good vid mate

  • Another cheaper and better way is to put your finger in his water dish and then thrash the water around and your beardie will attack the bubbles! then he will not need your help any longer.

  • good job kid you made a good vid that will help alot of people thumps up if you like this vid

  • All my reptiles drinks from the thing you use in the start.

Speccially my chameleon ( Furcifer Pardalis ), They all like it.

    Thumbs up here ^^

  • you are a smart 8 year old. great advice

  • This is a well done video. Very professionally done and creative as well.

  • @diesel3780 They don't need to drink extra that's true, but if it's particularly hot and/or they refuse their veggies they gotta get it some how. (and why are you yelling?)

  • I did no training. My uncle, who is a vet, told me to give mine water. I put a dish in and when I poured in the water he walked up to it and drank.

  • @YouHaveMetYourMaker That's cool, but mine always ignored it so I had to familiarize him with the bowl.

  • how did diggit die?

  • That is a good idea...I have used a 3 cc syringe (without a needle, of course!) to give mine water. I never tried to get her to associate it with her dish though. I may try this, but she has been hand-fed and given water out of a syringe, or directly out of the tap for so long now, I don't know if she will change.

  • you are very smart! u figure that out by urself?

  • dud you really helpt me out me and my mom have to make him or her drink out of a fosit

  • @qknicks LOL - that's how mine drinks too! I take her to the sink several times a day, and if she's thirsty, she will drink, if not, she will turn her head away!

I started hand-feeding mine, which was kind of a mistake, because now its the ONLY way she eats! She sometimes will attack crickets, but since she is 4 years old now, and a little overweight, most of her diet consists of fresh greens and veggies. My beardie is very pampered and spoiled, but she deserves it...she is such a sweetheart.

  • Is that normal tap water or does it have that reptisafe thing???? Please reply

  • @Abven9 I always used water from a brita filter just to be sure it was clean but that's all.

  • nice teaching thats a lot of help thx

  • i faved this video because its useful because im getting a beardie in the next few weeks

  • My bd is a baby and runs away when i try to pick it up wat do i do

  • @Antwon5621 just pick him up everyday when hes young, when hes older he wont mind as much and will be use to u holding him, u can put a used t shirt in his cage so he can get use to ur scent as well

  • You should make the vivarium more exotic use sand and caves

  • Really good vid. Really helpful too. Thanks x

  • Very good maybe you could have a carer in reptiles when you are older

  • @toader1471 Haha thanks, I'm actually going to school for engineering but I'll be taking some classes on zoology or herpetology if I can.

  • @rockmania27 what do you mean by rip daggit

  • @rockmania27 hey u dum puta. the beardy is dead becausze u dont know hot cared for it. thats not a fuckin barby doll u dum bitch

  • I want a bearded dragon but they are expensive from petsmart or petco

  • @slowphobia um...60 dollars?

  • @slowphobia Reptile shows are cheaper and better. I got mine as a baby for $40.

  • Thank you for making this video! (Sorry about retards leaving stupid comments. :P)

Very helpful information, I'll be getting a dropper for Bu to see how he reponds to it. :) I actually noticed him drinking out of the tub on his own for the first time a few weeks ago, so I'm hopeful I can get him to drink from a designated dish too!

  • nice job

  • nice video cause im thinking of getting a bearded dragon myself

  • did this dragon die?

    why?

  • why the negative votes? fucking haters :S

  • that awesome! your smart!

  • @blazedbl ok so here's the fase"s

yellow fase(sandfire) red fase' and orange fase,

my bearded dragon is a yellow fase but i could not tell untill he had reached his teen years he was just gray and dull when i got him

  • aw this is sooooo good hey ive got a qestion for you my lizard drinks out of his water bowl but ive only seen him do it about 3 times in the five months ive had him has he forrgoten to drink or does he drink when i'm not whatching him

  • @podgespapparazzi lizards don't drink 8 cups of water a day like we are suppose to and if you are properly feeding it and giving it leafy greens then it gets a lot of water from there too. If you are really worried about it I would call up a vet and ask but they might tell you like I have, but it never hurts to get the opinion of an expert vs a internet desk jockey :)

  • @Norcalbowhunter thankyou very much o and also i'm not a hater on this video or anything i think its realy good i was just wondering and stuff thanks

  • ty, I'm going to try this

I was always worried if he was drinking water....because he always put the sand in the dish and makes it dirty >:U

but now, I'm gonna try this....I'll feed back ;D

  • You are genius but wat ever you do don't listen to that guy about sand it can cause a blockage in his intestines and he can die what my vet said and he came from harvard university!:)

  • cool teatcher xD

  • your bearded dragon is that big and you still have tolet paper for the bottum, get some calcium sand...

  • little man! That is slick when your dragon started drinking his own water, i tried it. I hope it works. Im sure you'll publish other fine ideas.... Thank you for this advise.- from phoenix

  • thats so cool! lol

  • oh sweet thanks man my bearded has had a tuff time figuring out that water is there even tho you can see it :P great vid

  • I don't use water dishes in any of my enclosures. They get water from the greens and misting.

  • one question.Where can you get a dropper from? because I might get a bearded dragon this week. And about how much do bearded dragons cost and where can u get one?

  • Thanks. Why does every1 hav same water bowl.

  • So ur saying that ur dragon didnt eat enough veggies and didn't go to the bathroom often and therefore died?

How often did he used to go to the bathroom?

  • do you had a UVB light too?

  • @Bibushka66 yes

  • wow i think pickleboy5 is right

  • u sounds like a complete faggot.

  • Daggit? I hardly know it!

  • my friend has a water dripper like the ones you use for chameleons. most lizards can't see still water. so the dripper does exactly what your doing except the dripper automatically drips so you don't need to manually drip. btw cute beardie

  • Wow! Insanely clever! I'm gonna try this for my precious baby beardy! THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!! =D

  • That's adorable! Do you know how often they should drink water?

    This is a great video
