@jiggyjilli I understand what you're saying but the record companies don't market drop dead gorgeous, they market black women who have european features or light skin or both. But real music is real music and all they have to do is live shows like they used to in the 60s and they will be bigger than the so-called "pop" artists out there.

@jiggyjilli Sad but true. Although Fanny Mae is a beautiful young woman inside and out, today's music is all about looks and performance not skill and empowerment. I remember back in the day when music brought folk together over BBQs and special events when people actually bought the cassette tape or CD and wanted to LISTEN to the music . Now it's club banger this and auto-tune that. Or pop/lock and krump this or bootie pop that. I don't even bother w/radio or TV anymore, just sad.
