  • goddamn I want that truck so badly

  • I like this version WAAAY bttr than the album version thumbs up if u agree

  • awesome movie watching it right now. never gets old. always wondered tho how that truck kept a windshield through the end of the movie

  • real good song good car variety and about the dodge thing i have no clue but ram 2nd gen bodys are hard to kill

  • LMAO I love how when the song kicks it shows the truck!!!! Good Work!

  • Where can I get a copy of this?

  • One of the best songs/scenes in the movie!

  • to all u ford lovers ill take my cummins over your power choke anyday !!

  • hey why is it that people have to argue about fuckin vehicles on a video???

  • ahaha i jam this loud when im on the road going after storms!!!!

  • Too all of you people arguing which vehicle is best in this film, I say they both are cool, but the really awesome vehicle that nobody cares about or pays attention to is the best. That would be

    (drumroll)

The Crazy Preacher Dude's Ford Station Wagon!

  • If you can't Dodge it, Ram it!

  • @TheAmazingFerrit

Then get real, and buy a Ford.

  • @EvilxMerlin And then when your airbags deploy without warning you can wish you didn't!

  • @Tomcat418

Well it could be worse, your ball joints could just fall apart, your tie rods could fail, your brakes could be slow to respond, your master cylinder could be malformed, your wireless ignition could accidentily cause your key to fall our and the vehicle to remain in drive, and of course, the brake booster clips could fail and cause your brakes to just not work. And thats just for 2010!

  • @EvilxMerlin Really? Using the problems of a new generation of trucks? That's just stupid. Maybe you should ask Ford about the legendary spark plug failures that have spanned three generations of trucks, transmission shifts that can be measured on the Richter scale, the 600,000 trucks recalled due to airbags deploying for no reasons, and an ungodly rattle at speeds over 55 mph. Yes, Dodge does have issues with its newest generation (as all manufacturers do) But at least Ford circled the problem

  • @Tomcat418

You REALLY want me to go back the past say ten years with Dodge Ram recalls? Because just going back to 2001 thats almost 80 recalls on just the 1500's alone, the largest of which was for over 1,211,756 and could have resulted in the death of a child.

  • @Tomcat418

Typical Dodge owner (sorry call it Ram now as the government had to bail Chrysler out of trouble), doesn't even know the difference between a circle and an oval. Go figure.

  • @EvilxMerlin Seriously? So 1.2 million Ford trucks with faulty airbags isn't enough for ya? How about 1.1 million Ford trucks for crappy fuel tank straps? My favorite is the 2.7 million trucks recalled for rusting fuel tank straps causing 1997 Ford pickups to burst into flames. All makes have their fair share of recalls, but Ford could be crowned king of them all.

  • @Tomcat418

Actually both those numbers include non-trucks. You should fact check better.

  • @EvilxMerlin Oh and on a side note. You are a typical Ford owner who bought into the BS that Ford "stood on it's own" while GM and Chrysler needed to be bailed out. HA. That's funny, considering Ford was loaned $7 billion dollars at the time of the bailouts (supposedly to invest in hybrid technology. Pretty convenient, especially considering Ford called them "Government funded securitization programs". Hmm, very interesting indeed)

  • @Tomcat418

One, it was 5.9 billion and it wasn't a bailout. The GM bailout total was just over FIFTY BILLION dollars. Chrysler's bailout was TWENTY NINE BILLION, and they have already said they will not be paying back 7.2 billion of it.

  • @EvilxMerlin And not only that, but the CEO of Ford advocated for the bailouts of Chrysler and GM, since Ford knew that if they went under, Ford would be hurt very badly because the big three manufacture parts for each other. And to add insult to injury, Ford's CEO also requested another $9 billion dollars as a "line of credit" if they needed it. But hiding that worked out to their advantage. It worked out to be a great marketing scheme!

  • @Tomcat418

A line of credit is not a bailout, it is not cash, it is nothing unless Ford needed it. So remind me how that is an insult or injury and the tens of billions loaned to Chrysler are what??? I think your mullet is impacting your thinking process...

  • @EvilxMerlin I believe your Ford fanboy nature is blinding you my friend. Resorting to stereotypes are we? That's just low. As to those numbers, the 1.2 million Ford pickups is accurate. There was an additional 16,000 Lincoln pickups with that, but considering they are built on the same chassis with the same engines, I think we can safely say they can be combined. The 1.1 million is also accurate, and again, includes Lincoln Blackwood pickup trucks, which are very similar.

  • @EvilxMerlin And maybe you need to do some fact checking. Chrysler received $13 billion, not $29 billion. That was the amount the federal government lost two Chrysler and GM combined. But really, you missed my point entirely. The fact that Ford advertised on not receiving bailout money, while asking for a $9 billion line of credit and advocating for the bailout of GM and Chrysler is just ridiculous. Surely you find that hypocritical?

  • @EvilxMerlin On a side note, only $10.8 billion was disbursed of the roughly $13 billion committed. About $7.3 billion was returned.

  • @Tomcat418

You also failed to take into account the fact that 53% of all Chrysler's stock was PURCHASED by the Feds. Did you take that into account? Nope just the cash.

  • @EvilxMerlin You're an idiot. The money from the $13 billion came with strings attached, just as it did with GM, giving the federal government partial ownership. Even IF the Feds gave the loan and bought the company separately, your logic still makes no sense whatsoever. Chrysler is worth roughly between $6 and $7 billion as a company, so if the government bought EVERY stock in Chrysler, that would only put the cost at about $20 billion.

  • @EvilxMerlin But they only bought about 50%, meaning that it only would have cost about $16.5 billion. Now please remove your head from your ass and realize that Ford is not the only reliable automaker on the planet.

  • @Tomcat418

16.5+13 is over 29 billion, just like I said. And I NEVER said Ford was the only reliable automaker on the planet.

  • @EvilxMerlin Wow. I meant $6.5 billion for buying the stock in Chrysler, and $13 billion for loan. Maybe if you had read my entire post, I wouldn't have had to explain that to you. In addition, it should not matter anyways, because that was if you were correct to begin with, which you weren't. As I said before, the 53% ownership was included in the loan as one of the conditions.

  • @Tomcat418

So in otherwords, the .gov still owns Chrysler, and to top it all of the Fiat imports are falling flat on their faces. Looks like we will see Chrysler begging for money again in a few years.

  • @EvilxMerlin No, the government has sold its shares of Chrysler to Fiat. And yes, Fiat is not finding a strong market here, but Chrysler sales have been greatly increasing. In fact, Chrysler has had a bigger increase in sales in the U.S. than GM and Ford. No, Chrysler is recovering and profiting. But I guess Chrysler needed some help to compete in the fuel efficiency market, since Ford received ALL of the federal funds to improve hybrid technology (Which is Ford's main selling point I might add)

  • @Tomcat418

Increasing from selling only a few cars to selling a few more cars isn't saying much. Ford still sells nearly double what Chyrsler does.

  • @EvilxMerlin Again, because Ford markets on fuel economy, which it achieved through DOE loans. Had either GM or Chrysler gotten those loans, they would be doing pretty well.

  • @Tomcat418

No Ford sells more vehicles, because they are MUCH better quality than Dodge's products. Dodge still (until the Dart is released) has nothing to compete with the Fiesta or Focus. Limited competition to the Fusion. And Fords trucks destroy Chrysler's.

  • @EvilxMerlin Better quality? Or does Ford just not cover ANY of the problems that their products have? I can assure you, Ford customer service in nonexistent. My girlfriend's Ford Focus had a manufacturing defect that many Focuses of that generation had in which the lining of the windows would leak when it rained. Ford refused to pay for it, even after the addressed it as a manufacturing defect. Same thing with the Ford spark plug issues.

  • @EvilxMerlin And yes, Dodge does not have any vehicles to compete with the Fiesta/Focus until the Dart becomes available. But let's be realistic here, I would like to see how strong Ford's hold on that market would be without all of the Dept. of Energy loans they have gotten and continue to receive. And how they would have fared without those loans (thereby losing their "fuel efficiency" slogan they advertise oh so much).

  • @Tomcat418

Um, you do know that the EcoBoost stuff was under development four years before the .gov gave the money to Ford right? You do know that neither the Fiesta or Focus have hybrids or electrics only yet right? So again, how did the money help the CURRENT Fiesta or Focus?

  • @EvilxMerlin And what? Ford's trucks destroy Chrysler's? It is hard to hear you over the sound of the Cummins.

  • @Tomcat418

Yeah because all you have is sound. The current 6.7 from Ford puts out more horsepower, better fuel economy, is less expensive and weighs less... and still has 800 lb/ft of tq, just like the Cummins 6.7. Besides if your cummin, its already done.

  • @EvilxMerlin Yes the Ecoboost was in development for some time before the loans, but here is the thing, until Ford received between $5-6 billion dollars to retool 11 plants to build these engines (and further improve the engine) the Ecoboost was garbage. And for your Powerstroke (which has been completely redesigned as of recently) We will see how your new engine fairs. After all, how else would it compete with the Cummins without having to be totally redesigned. Rather be cummin' than strokin'.

  • @Tomcat418

When you are cummin, its all over. When you are strokin' you are still going at it.

  • @EvilxMerlin That's just stupid.

  • DODGE IS EPIC FORD AND CHEVY ARE DODGE WANNA BES

  • F****** LOVE IT!!!!! \m/

  • I cried when the truck got picked up by the tornado... I love my 96 Dodge Ram and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world :') OH and Ford...Is shit with wheels.

  • @tthomaselli2 Man I want to get it on DVD soo bad. I have been wanting to watch it for like, a year. And literally every time I see it on tv, I watch it. I could re-watch this movie a million times and it would never get old.

  • @TheAmazingFerrit

Indeed.; Go for it, then. I got at Wal-Mart in Mid-2007 & it was only about $8, or, so.

  • @tthomaselli2 I'M GOING TO WALMART....

  • @TheAmazingFerrit

    Go for it.

  • back when i liked dodge, they really need to bring this film back in 3d to theaters, it freaking rocks!!!!

  • can anybody send me the link to this song plz

  • @MRNASCARFAN25

Just copy & paste the URL & type in youtube-mp3

  • @tthomaselli2 thanks man i been looking for this song oh thanks a lot man thanks

  • @MRNASCARFAN25

No problem.; If you go to put anything down in the 'Artists' field on Windows Media Player, just put Van Halen & Mark Mancina. I did when I first down-loaded it.

  • Every time the sirens go off, I blare this song, xD.

  • Everyone that I know to be an Asshole drives a 4x4 Chevy Z71, with a 350 V8, and "Straight-piped" exhaust. All of which cannot drive with any skill or decency.

  • Thanks for posting! I can literally watch the scene unfold in my hand cause of the intro XP

  • To clear it up for everyone - there is NO, I repeat NO final scene at the end of the credits where Joe and Bill find the truck undamaged and drive it home. This was just a joke regarding the incredible battery that the vehicle went through, and yet somehow managed to keep functioning perfectly. You can all stop searching for it, although it may have been included in the director's cut. ;-)

  • @GlasgowTruthGroup Are you trying to claim that an F-5 tornado could actually destroy a Dodge Ram pickup? Preposterous! I think your account was hacked by a Toyota fan... xp

  • @Tomcat418 Haha. Not at all, I was merely stating that the director didn't get final cut and wasn't able to include that most symbolic of scenes in the main release, as the producers were toyota fans and had become upset with the incredible stamina of the vehicle. As I said, it might be on the directors cut and possibly the book, cos we all know that truck would keep driving without an engine if it had to..

  • @Tomcat418 Must have been... The ram may have some lil damage but now if it had a cummins in it :D It would NEVER DIE!

  • @Tomcat418 DAMN RIGHT!!! my moms old ram sat for almost 13 years my dad threw a battery on it and it took a few extra cranks from the starter but damn thing fired up and we drove it to the scrap yard

  • @Tomcat418 OH NICE!!!

  • @Tomcat418 Only Chuck Norris could destroy a Dodge Ram.

  • @CVSoprano Well to be fair, he does drive one...

  • @Tomcat418 OH HELL NO.DODGE IS A TOUGH TRUCK

  • @Tomcat418 that's the best comment on youtube you should have a million thumbs up

  • No matter what you drive, if your blaring this while running 80 mph into a storm, your always gonna be in that red dodge.

  • WOW the Dodge Ram did not change that much in appearance in 15 years. The 2011 Dodge Ram pretty much looks the same except the grill is tilted a little diagonally

  • throughout the entire movie that truck was:

    hit by a semi

    hit by a tree

    caught in intense hail

    caught in intense rain

caught in the middle of 2 twisters

    driven through a corn feild

    driven through a house

    driven through fire

and it still runs and the body is still in fairly good shape...*sigh* they just don't make'em like that anymore do they?

  • @Metalhead15712 Don't forget it was also hit by a falling power pole, which made a dent in the tray, which, if I am not mistaken, managed to pop itself out again before the truck was taken by the F5. If you watch right till the end of the credits, there is a scene where Bill and Joe find the truck undamaged, and drive home in it..

  • @GlasgowTruthGroup hmmm, I never saw the end scene, well in that case not even an F5 could take it out, which just proves my point even more :)

  • Comment removed

  • @HiVultage01 I was only kidding about the end credits.. =)

  • Just a great blend from orchestry to rock. Leave it to Eddie and Marc....GREAT !

  • @Phoenixfire1988 Final Fantasy VIII used this music theme mixed with movie theme from The Rock for "Raid on Dollet" song on their demo of the game but a lawsuit from the movie guys for the Rock forced them to remove it from the final game

  • i have seen this move so much the vhs i had broek before i got a dad player and now i have gone threw 3 dvds no wait make that 4

  • Most Sexiest Truck Ever Built :D

  • Dammit! Now I gotta break out the Twister dvd AGAIN!

  • @ConquistadorErnesto You can thank me later hahaha

  • @ConquistadorErnesto im so obssessed wit this movie no matter wat i cnt get tired of this movie XDDD

  • Nothing like a random argument over cars in a Twister video. I love the internet!

  • @Headcheezonium All your dreams can come true on the internets xp

  • thanks uploader!!

  • the orchestra goes great with van halen

  • @Tomcat418......To each his own..... You go ahead and love that precious Dodge all you want but I can assure you I will NEVER buy anything that Dodge makes Car,Truck doesn't matter nothing they make is worth pissing on.

  • @frofro73 Yea you keep living in your dream world pal.

  • @Tomcat418 agreed. really only dodge id buy is the ram pickup or anythign RWD. thier FWD's i disliked. BUT never been let down by a v6 or v8 RWD. the durangos = pricy MPG lol. BUT FWIW id have another one

  • I'll buy a Ford before i buy a fucking Dodge of course I'll buy a Chevy before any of them........ just my opinion Ford being my second choice

  • @frofro73 Why is it that Chevy guys always tend to be the assholes? I own a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.2 liter V-8 and I can assure you that there isn't single Chevy on Earth I would trade it in for. And if I couldn't buy a Dodge, I would buy a Ford before I bought a Chevrolet.

  • @Tomcat418 Its always personal preference. I own all Chevy/GMC trucks, but I still love the look of a Dodge. If I didn't like my trucks so much I'd love to own a Hemi ram. Truth is I'd buy Ford, Dodge, or Chevy before a Toyota or Nissan.

  • @Tomcat418 hahaha i was thinkin the same

  • @Tomcat418 2 door or extended-cab?

  • @chpman2013 Extended cab

  • @Tomcat418 yeeaah...the mid 90's - early 00's Ram always looked best in extended cab form

  • @Tomcat418 Well, I'm a chevy guy, I prefer chevy over anything. Yet I give dodge credit on a lot of stuff like the Cummins in-line turbo (best desel on the market). So, I'll always prefer a chevy with an allison trans, but a dodge isn't bad idea either for me.

  • @Tomcat418 "And if I couldn't buy a Dodge, I would buy a Ford before I bought a Chevrolet." You, my friend, are the shit. We should be friends. :P

  • @thomassmith18 Why thank you good sir. Although I am only going on common sense, after all. I mean look at the new Chevys, what have they come to? They used to build some solid rigs, and now... yeck. Ford is good, although I don't appreciate all of that Toyota junk they put in their new engines, with the Ecoboost and hybrid technology in vehicles like the Ford Escape, Ford lost a lot of my respect for that. Well that and the absurd amount of recalls and problems they keep running into.

  • @frofro73 fords and chevys fucking suck theres only 1 non dodge car in my family and its a toyota

  • @TheHelllyea As much as I appreciate the loyalty to Dodge, I would take a Ford or Chevy any day over a Toyota...

  • cow moooooooo

    mooo nother cow

actually ithink that was the same one

  • Bill Paxton and Helen hunt rock because the were in this movie

  • this song is a legend so is the movie

  • who cares dodge and ford are both amazing vehicles, if ur gunna bag on a vehicle talk about chevy cuz the suck ass

  • @TheRedneckboy327 Nahh. Bag on Toyota.

  • @WaterLines333 I agree, no matter if you are a Dodge, Ford, or Chevy guy, there is always one thing we can all agree on. We all hate Toyota.

  • At 1:22, the adrenaline has been fired up for the ITS THE EXTREME into WIDE OPEN OVERDRIVE at 1:49. OUTSTANDING ACTION.

  • "we got cows"

  • How'd you find this version of 'Humans Being'?

  • Comment removed

  • "time to take a walk in the woods" <3

  • @Lizzie21LuvsSOS21 "it gets bumpy here folks" haha <3

  • @RussianAmericanArms woohooo! an ordinary man lives his life trying to avoid tense situations! Dusty- Repo man tries to live his life IN tense situations,Beltzer!!!!!! <3 lol haha;

  • @Lizzie21LuvsSOS21 hahaha <3 and this is why this is my favorite movie of all time

  • @RussianAmericanArms yup haaha

  • this movie was great, also made a good 2 1/2 hour commercial for Dodge. love it.

  • @Yautjaamedha

'Twister' was basically a 2-and-a-half hour commercial for Dodge???; What makes you say that besides the fact that that's the type of truck that Bill Paxton drives in the movie?

  • @tthomaselli2 no, it was a great movie, but ive always been a huge Dodge fan, and all the shit they put that truck through seems like Dodge shoulda made a commercial with scenes from the movie.

  • @Yautjaamedha I agree with that, especially with the nice cinematic shots they took of the truck (you know so many of those were on purpose hahaha) Plus they really did beat the hell out of that truck in the movie. And tthomaselli2, its called product placement, companies pay movie producers all the time to do it (for example, watch "I Am Legend" and look closely, all of the vehicles driven by main characters in the movie were Fords)

  • @Tomcat418

    'Product placement'.; Got it!: :)

  • @Yautjaamedha

I know how you feel.; I've got a soft spot for all 3 (Ford, Dodge & Chevy), but, if I said to say my all-time favorite, it'd be Dodge, especially the 2nd generation ones.: :)

Future commercials by Dodge featuring scenes from 'Twister' would be good, that's a good point, but, I also think it'd be a bit of an over-kill, in my view.

  • @tthomaselli2 had they done it when the movie had just come out, it would work, but nowadays, theyd have to do a heritage comercial.

  • @Yautjaamedha

I think it would've worked, too.

  • FORD FAN, TWISTER FAN, VAN HALEN FAN. :D

  • @ToasterMan7 Ford sucks. good on the rest though.

  • @Yautjaamedha Nicely said Mopar Forever<3

  • @RussianAmericanArms Mopar owns.

  • @Yautjaamedha \\m//

  • The greatest thing about this movie was that, in the end, a Dodge Ram got destroyed.

  • @ebay649 but its ghost lives on in everyother ram built after that point thats why it still beats chevy and fords ass

  • @protectoroffaith Don't worry, he's probably a Toyota fan

  • @Tomcat418 OH SNAP!!!

  • @ebay649 but it took something like that to kill it :p lol

  • You say 50Cent-I Say Led Zeppelin

You say Miley Cyrus-I say AC/DC

You say T-Pain-I say Deep Purple

You say Flowers-I say Van Halen

You say Pink-I say Pink Floyd

You say Hip Hop-i say Jimi Hendrix

You say R&B-I scream Classic Rock

You say hanah montana-i hit you in the face

70% of teenagers/kids have turned to Hip Hop and Rap.If you are part of the 30% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this message to another 5 videos. Don't Let Rock Die!!!

  • @Falamee158 I'm anywhere from Classic Rock to Heavy Metal.

It is a damn shame what most of my generation will listen to.....

  • @Falamee158 I agree.

  • @Falamee158 Rock will NEVER FUCKING DIE! Doesn't matter if people wanna listen to garbage-ass pop music... I'll always support this music! And someday I'm gonna put a big-ass PA system on top of my truck and blare Van Halen while chasing tornadoes too!!!

  • rabbit is good rabbit is wise :D

  • Whatever the truck was it was one tough MOPAR. MOPAR or NO CAR.

  • @Drumguy1988 I LOVE THAT SAYING:D

  • Tornadoes, a Dodge Ram 2500, and a hell of alot of adrenaline makes TWISTER one FUCKING great movie.

  • This is the film that let me fall inlove with a RAM, aswell as the test drives that my dad took me on and his friends having them. perfect for storm chasing is all i know haha great day to day work trucks and storm chasing trucks. You dont agree fuck you.

  • Love that truck!

  • It's the wonder of nature baby!!!

  • i think its a 488 cubic inch engine

  • I use to love this movie a lot when I was younger.

  • This intro STILL gives me chills all the way down my back.

  • 2 people should get smacked by flying cows......

  • Actually they had a mix up of Ram 1500s and 2500's in the movie. But for start up sounds that is the 5.9 V8

  • did anyone else notice that the Ram in this movie was a V10? Look carefully after they get spun by the two water tornadoes, the scene with the flying cow. Right next to the type of truck (2500 or 3500) is the engine...which was a V10 baby!

  • @Wargod558 Yep, V10 Magnum man, I would have loved to have one (my Ram is only a V8) but with gas prices rising... I think I'll stick with my V8 now hahaha

  • @Tomcat418 along as you don't race that v10 isn't a gas hog my dads car i a 69 new yorker and has the 440 cubic inch power plant and get 22 miles to the gallon(for an old car thats alot :P)

  • @protectoroffaith I think it depends on the car, a big old battle wagon like that doesn't have to meet the same environmental regulations that cars made the same year as that Ram have to meet, so it probably gets better mileage for that reason. With my 5.2 liter V-8 Ram 1500 I usually get between 15 and 17 mpg on the highway... Nonetheless, I have no complaints because that truck is the best vehicle I have ever driven!

  • @Tomcat418 i know my friend has the 4500 and its a Beast loved taking that out on the road for some fun :D and yes the battle wagon has a rep :P it beats pretty much all tuners which i love you hear this sound (kinda like a sewing machine on roids) WINGWINGWING my dad looks over and smiles and gun's the 440 and this engin roars to life at that point there shiting there pants and my dads GONE

  • @protectoroffaith bull shit theirs noway a 69 440 bigblock gets 22 mpg maybe 2

  • @07gmclover buddy me and my dad put a little over a gallon of gas in the car and drove till iran out we got little over 22 miles to the gallon but judging by the name your as dumb as they come 07 GMC lover go fuck a landmine you cunt

  • @Tomcat418 youd be doing better than with a v6 lol. had a friend buy a 6. and grips about gas consumption. i told him 8 takes a bit mroe to get you there, but less to keep you there
