Great song & performance, but Keith solo on first version is simply one the best ( & simpliest!) solo ever.
Even keith can't do better, arthristis or not! &, as far as he seems to make it different, it is nothing but a very good solo! Keith unable to be better than Keith???
Keith's solos have suffered over the last 20 years I think the arthritis is really reducing his finger movement. But he's still a great fucking performer! Gold rings on him!
This is a fantastic live version. I would definitely include this one in a list of the best every stone's live performences (and there are many great ones to choose from).

Funny, but I think the phrase is to open one's eyes to pain, rather than to open one's nose. Also, it was "eyes" in the Stones' studio version.
