my eg has a stock gsr with a percision turbo setup tuned on 10psi and made 320whp and runs mid 11s at the track. that civic looked nowhere close to 350hp. they both looked slow.
I don't know why this race wasn't what it was supposed to be like but either the civic driver couldn't drive his car right or his car still needed tuning either way props for the mazda mx6 turbo (a very rare car by the way) for killing it and embarresing the honda. (I'm a honda gut myself) most people would say that a b18c in a eg hatch pushing 350 whp would just about kill or hang with anything in the road except for Lambos & such exotics, but of-course with the right driver. Agreed ? lol

thats mazda ran 13.5 on street tire with 2.1 60ft, and its consistence, on a lower nitrous shot, the car is a solid mid 12sec car . mazda dont need 350hp to beat a honda. they have gearing and tq advantage. which mean they can have a 80 hp disadvatage and still win.
@ademanster if a mx6 runs solid 12s then it´s got a huge nitrous shot(coming from high 15s stock). very few cars have gearing advantage over those civics, a torque advantage is probably non if the civic has 350whp even if there was a torque advantage it is more then made up by the weight advantage of the civic
fact is that old mazda does not come close to a 350whp civic, unless it has a huge 300+hp nitrous shot. that civic obviously is not running 350whp, a 350whp civic is a low 12s car.

what the bov sound had to do with anything, ricer like you love that sound, the kit was bought and tune and install by inline pro, in virgina, there is nothing ebay on that car, everything is inline pro and turbosmart bc,wastegate, bov etc.
@ademanster well the kit obviously had a cheesy bov, it should let out all of the boost in one, short burst...not slowly creep out. obviously its a push-type as featured in eBay kits, better off with a piston-type, it seals the best. allowing you to accumulate boost much faster, to achieve more power at lower rpms.

thats mazda ran 13.5 on street tire with 2.1 60ft, and its consistence, on a lower nitrous shot, the car is a solid mid 12sec car . mazda dont need 350hp to beat a honda. they have gearing and tq advantage. which mean they can have a 80 hp disadvatage and still win.
