You know there were alot of customizers in the 50's.Most of them just really screwed up the lines and overall appearance of the car (ie Barris,Cattalo coupe,)The guys ,Gil and Al Ayala,were masters of their craft.They knew how to customize a car without over doing They perfected the fadeaway fender and roof chops.To top it off they were Latinos with mucho talento.I wish today's young punks would take a look at these guys to see how real craftsmen built cars.Wings,ground effects=lame
When cars were cars. Ever gearhead had a Custom but the Ayala bros I think had a true style that till this day no one has replicated not easy to chop up four of the best body lines of the fifties to make one bad ass sled
