First of all when the shad are running heavy a 3 year old can catch 20 fish. Not a huge accomplishment. Secondly, if you would like to continue to had productive days of shad fishing you should release them especially since they are boney and terrible to eat but if you do like them one or two is plenty. NOT 20, ASSHOLES. I caught probably 200 shad this year out of the Delaware river here in Pennsylvania and kept 3. One for the roe for my neighbor and 2 for cut bait.

Once i saw these chinese fags catching pearch spawn with nets to eat or some indians catching dirty catfish and eating them!
I believe you guys are over the bag limit which is 5 per person, you semm to be 3 on the boat... Watch out for the CO's, I got checked this afternoon, those extra fish can cost more than your boat.
Freshwaterphil has a good point. In Quebec the limit for 2008 is 6 per person for american shad. I my self fish the same specices. It's a good tasting fish but allot of bones. Hey Phil I checked out your fishing video, very cool dude. It gave me dejavu when I was a kid fishing with my family and freinds.
