All those elements you mentioned, are basic: if you dont show what you sell, and only use humour and big words, then you are deceiving the consumer which is bad. you must mix everything: a good script that has something to do with the game, jokes, the game itself or some kind of self reference like halo ad

Hey there...

I've been trying to find 2 90s games...the first was a fighting game, really weird, really violent and bloody...I just remember 2 of the characters: a big gorilla look-alike thing...and a bald, skinny evil Doctor.

and the second one, was about some soldiers in this old creepy asylum, with stains of urine in some of the rooms and blood in others...this one was really violent, and the view of the game was from the top.

if anyone knows something i'll appreciate any info.

This sounds like the 1995 Playstation game "Loaded." Search for gameplay footage of it on YouTube.

just so i can kinda answer it being a big mgs fan, MGS2 came out on the ps2 however when they rereleased on xbox it was called substance and had new features such as VR missions. BUT! right afterwards it didnt sell much and the ps2 fans were upset, so they reREreleased it a few months later on the ps2 after this commercial was made and came with one new feature over the xbox - SKATEBOARDING on bigshell :P
