nerfmyaccount, You mean when they decided to slaughter men women and children in South East Asia, you have lost every war you have ever been involved in, you had to fake the moon landings to try and garner some respect, I've been all over the US, in fact I am going back to New York in 2 months for the 3rd time, whilst individually I find most Americans charming, collectively they are very weird, also because of shit wages the cheeky bastards ask for thier tips, you have no shame, or manners.
@Laurelindo It's an even stranger thought that the moon at that instant probably was the only celestial body in the galaxy where there was only two "advanced" living beings (plus a lot of micro organisms).
Blahblobify and davidls11 I have to laugh reading your previous postings, 'Now run along sonny, etc, what makes you think his parents etc., let me reiterate boys, and I mean boys, I am 70 years old, served my country in the jungles of Malaya, saw four of my best mates killed, and you armchair philosophers have the nerve to call me for expressing an opinion, an opinion which, incidentally none of you have changed, including Buzz, 'I forgot to switch the camea on' Aldren, lift off, no camera!!!!
@thecubanism Sorry the US took the crown from Britain as world's greatest county in the 20th century. Your hurt butt will heal if you simply move on with your life instead of analyzing old 50 year old TV footage as if it has any relevance to anything. Whether we landed on the moon or not the UK is and shall remain behind the US. Get over it. Move on. Stop crying.
awey271 I know the rover didn't return from the so-called moon, the point I was making is, the filming of the lift-off was done by a camera mounted on the front of the rover, right?, where is the film of them entering prior to lift-off, continual film please, if it filmed the lif-off it must have filmed the entry as it was directed at the LEM all the time or am I missing something here?
@thecubanism You have already been told that they entered the LM about 17 hours before lift off (they even slept in the meantime), so You just keep on asking for things You know isn't able to find.
Even if you served in Malaya, You are a racist, since You in other postings have called the Holocaust a lie, and called all Jews liars. Did You kill many Malayans?
@thecubanism "no-one has offered conclusive proof that the moon landings happened" ha ha, they have, did so continuously, live,at the time, for the many years the program was underway. You just don't want to accept it that's all and no matter how much science is thrown your way (the fact that telemetry tracks these vehicles all the way from lift-off to orbit, landing and back again, that Hubble can see the sites actually on the surface now etc etc,you will never accept it as you don't want to.
krisdevalle, It is my sticking point because it is one event that would be nigh on impossible to fake, astronauts entering the LEM and then taking off, I don't believe film of that exists, if not, why not? continuous unedited footage might, and I say might, go a long way to persuading me it really happened, then I think of the Gene Cerman interview, I showed this to a policeman friend of mine who stated if he had been interviewing him he would have been detained pending further enquiries.
One final question, if the camera filming the lift-off was mounted on the buggy, why did it not film them entering the LEM prior to lift-off, and if your reason is that they entered the LEM 18 hours before lift-off, did they switch the camera off to be switched on by ground control just in time to film the so-called lift-off, [incidentally Buzz forgot to switch on the camera to film the lift-off, how convenient] he must have lost his pre flight check list.
@thecubanism Ah, the liftoffs were only videoed for missions 15, 16 and 17. Buzz was on Apollo 11.
But what's your point? Would you believe the missions really happened if you saw the astronauts climb in to the LEM? Why is this your sticking point at this stage?
'Look at that, look at that, ' look at what? some well-payed faker swinging his arm, when it comes down to it, no-one has offered conclusive proof that the moon landings happened, it was supposed to be proven beyond doubt by the Japanese close-up photos, wasn't it? well, no it wasn't, why not? Japan and America now piss in the same pot don't forget.
@thecubanism Oh the moon landings happened... yes they did... but there's an even bigger reason we didn't go back. Do more research and you'll see. There's a reason why NASA keeps 90% of everything confidential...
Even stranger is that all the fake stupid shit gets more views than actual real footage from the goddamn Moon. I guess reality isn't just good enough... wait, what? These are people walking on the fucking Moon! No gods, no aliens, no jesi (jesuses), just the fucking Moon. Somebody. Walks. On. The. Fucking. Moon. People, how cool is that? Why must everything be distorted into shit? "We saw the Xenu and a big pole holding the Earth up." Yeah, right. Read the documents. Available. On the net.
What's with the conspiracy theorist buffing? You know they're never gonna give it up, they'll rickroll you to the death if you let them. No amount of evidence is going to convince the dumb fucks. They like to think they know what really happened on 9/11 and so on. I consider the abundance of fake dumb stupid-as-fuck videos on youtube about Apollo missions as a nuisance.
You can't get rid of idiots, but it's a nuisance nevertheless. Free speech and all, but why to all historical documents?
By the way, what happened to the Japanese closeup photo's that would show once and for all that the landings took place, I've seen a few footsteps on a beach somewhere but no Lunar Rover, hammer, or any other debris, have you?
Blahblobify, How old were you when this non-event happened, well far from being a kid I was actually 27 at the time, not quite the kid you think I am eh? buth thanks for the compliment next time don't make such stupid statements, by the way, I've never watched a ScI-fi film in all my 70 years so try again pal, and remember, I was there.
@thecubanism Never seen a Sci-Fi film? Maybe that's why You are so easy to fool. I've seen a lot of Sci-Fi movies, and studied the SFX technologies. I could tell You how every effect in the old movies was created. There's no way that the Apollo films could have been done on Earth with the SFX technology of the 60's.
@thecubanism Of course they left the Rovers behind. The cameras filming the lift offs were mounted on the Rovers. They even left their PLSS's ("backpacks") to save weight. For Your information I can tell You that they were connected by hoses to the LM's life supporting system during landing and lift off, so they could throw the PLSS's out before start.
Dude, you cant just take the rover with you, the rover belongs to the descent stage, how can they lift off with the descent stage? Also, going to the moon is all about weight.
Are you kidding, a guy 240,000 miles from earth is pleading, 'Let me throw the hammer'', I'll tell you what happened here, the Russians were years ahead in space exploration, US government officials approached Kennedy he in turn approached NASA who in turn approached astronauts and said to them,You are now part of the greatest ever plot to destroy Communism, you will be well rewarded and forever be honoured as the men who destroyed Communism, you are the unsung hero's , am I wrong?
@thecubanism Once in his lifetime he had a chance to throw someting in 1/6 g. The hammer should anyhow be discharded just as everything that wasn't needed anymore, to save weight.
So, why shouldn't he ask permission to do it? I would have done it.
This is the reason some people think this is faked. It is soo unbelievable that we landed on the Moon by 1970 that people refuse to believe it! Like looking everywhere for something and finding it right under your nose.
cernan is a mighty hero,he burned that module challenger to taurus littro and set up the station, did the tasks set out in the plans, and got back for cake and coffee in fine shape with his fellow hero schmitt
@tuttt99 im sure he has to be one of the most interesting people you could meet, hes a guy that still has lots to say and promotes the saving of nasa and the shuttle program and of course another moon mission, wow what a privelage to meet the hero of taurus littrow
What shit, a fake lunar surface, a fake lander, a fake hammer throw, and, to top it all, joking asrtronauts laughing like they are visiting DIsneyland on a day trip, if this were a modern day film it would be laughed out of the theatre, wouldn't it?
@thecubanism stop looking at youtube conspirationist shit, go to clavius, home page read it and get on with your life, its okay to be wrong i have been there, but weve been to the moon 6 times, and the data is overwhelming, hoax beleiver use picture and anectdotal evidence that seem at first wow,,,,we never been there, !! but they are all debunk without any execption and cannont evaluation, there is over 2000 independant from nasa confirmation and tracking of the landing search for them
@lapmarty Too true! People are too quick to look at something once and scream fake! Ah well, one day these people willrealise the word 'gullible' isn't actually in the dictionary!
Kids like you expect some kind of Star Wars shit and are too stupid to recognize real scenes versus the CGI effects you grew up watching.
Now run along sonny, but never tell your parents you think the Apollo missions were fake, it will break their hearts to see how weird and stupid you are.
@Blahblobify I grew up pre-CGI. The fact that we supposedly drove around in buggies on the moon 40+ years ago... but my cell phone cant send a picture right now, is one of a million reasons for pause ...
Wow so 40 years ago 6 missions to the moon were made and watched by the scientific communities of every country ON EARTH but because you have a crappy cell phone you think that means they were faked?
@sabino86 Yeah, that hammer would have gone right through the LM had it hit. Sometimes professional baseball pitchers through a WILD PITCH, and Schmitt was NOT an athlete, and had ZERO warm up, plus he was encumbered by the suit, and the much greater conflict on the moon between inertial mass and gravitational mass ( an Olympic hammer thrower going through a full wind up would develop ENORMOUS inertial momentum because of the 200 lb pack, and completely lose his balance ).
@mooninquirer That's nasty! Do you really think NASA would bunk off one of their original mercury astronauts and two other ones just as a social experiment? Or to remove them from the public eye or whatever. If they DID want to do such a thing, wouldn't it have been cleverer to get rid of them in a way that didn't make THEMSELVES look incompetent??
@thefunkydalek Indeed. Even before Apollo 1 other astronauts had died. Theodore Freeman was killed when a goose hit his aircraft, shattering the canopy which lead to flameout.
Surely NASA could come up with a more discrete means of killing the Apollo 1 crew than in such a PR destroying manner.
Like so many hoax claims, like NASA allegedly using secondary lighting on an alleged set to replicate the airless moon and crosshairs "behind" objects, it doesn't make sense even from a hoax perspective.
@thefunkydalek Yes, I agree. I could either way. It was EITHER a accident, or done intentionally. But if it WERE an accident, it shows how incompetent NASA was, and casts a lot of doubt on the subsequent very successful missions, including Apollo 13, a very implausible "successful failure." The government does NASTY THINGS already, with respect to taxes, the Federal reserve, and the UNNECESSARY war in Iraq, killing thousands of US soldiers and wounding tens of thousands.
What IS IT with you NASA apologists ? Say ONE thing criticizing the moon landing, and then IMMEDIATELY all of these trolls start swarming. In contrast, when someone says, even on Lady Gaga's official youtube channel, something like, "I hope she gets raped by her Black dancers," or she is "Fugly" ( Fuckin' Ugly ) ----- that comment often goes unchallenged. And there are A LOT of little monsters regularly commenting on this channel.
@thefunkydalek To get rid of Gus Grissom, who NASA could not trust with keeping up the lie ( he hung a lemon on a LM ). Also, the NASA footage and still shots look intentionally fake, BECAUSE their main purpose was to act as a social experiment to see how gullible the American public is, and the power of the media to convince them that something that is obviously a lie, is the truth, and to see if the passage of time would increase the public's belief ---- and it HAS.
We NEVER see any evidence of 1/6 gravity in the Apollo footage, or in the still shots for that matter. Selena Gomez ( to get why I pick her, watch this --- type into youtube : SELENA GOMEZ MAID SONG ) could lift the same mass on the moon that an NFL all-pro linebacker can on Earth. And these test pilots were required to maintain a physical fitness standard, including doing pull ups. It should have looked like the World's Strongest Man Competition, except without the grunting.
Just the way they get around is evidence of 1/6 gravity you dumbass, on Earth they could barely move in those spacesuits. God you hoaxers are such shameless liars.
@Blahblobify The problem with those suits, with respect to this supposed event, is getting out of the LM, because they were so big, and would have to go through an air lock chamber, as well. But the problem is NOT the weight of the suits. On the moon, combined, they would weigh 66 pounds, and NASA admits this, and says so in one of their documentaries. They could have EASILY descended, and ascended, the ladder with just their hands, and have banged out sets of 10 one handed pull ups.
Yeah right just hopping around like they weighed almost nothing isn't good enough, you think they sgould have brought a Jungle Gym along to prove something to you
@Blahblobify They wouldn't have to bring a jungle gym --- just the manner in which they descended and ascended the ladder shows they were very encumbered with weight. They do NOT hop round like they weighed almost nothing. And that is another point of the physics --- any fast movement on the moon would be dangerous, because there would still be the same momentum as on Earth. Moving fast, in a sideways direction, with 400 pounds Earth mass, and then the feet touching the ground....
@mooninquirer ( cont ) ....would just send them flying forward, and they would always fall down. It would be like being tackled by a 400 pound defensive lineman as he is running toward you. The problem is one is not going to get the stoppage from FRICTION, which depends upon weight, from the boots touching the ground, since they weighed 66 pounds. The sideways hopping proves they were not on the moon. You also would not be able to change direction easily on the moon.
@mooninquirer you would change direction on the moon, this isnt zero gravity, its 1/6 and by the way they do change directino in a clummzzy way,
lim telling you you are wrong about this, also you should try to watch the apollo 12 13 14 15 16 17 footage,
do you beleive we never went? or at some point went like other do? if so, when did we went and what major breaktrought did we have to allowed us to go? and if not why did they fake it 6 times? why did the russian shut up,
@lapmarty They were ALL fakes. They wanted to really make a big impression on the American public. I believe the PURPOSE of the moon hoax was to TEST the gullibility of the public, especially the media's ability to PRODUCE FACTS AND TRUTHS, and the acceptance of these over time. It was similar to the "War of the Worlds" --- a social experiment, like the ASCH CONFORMITY EXPERIMENT
The entire Cold War was as fake as "Professional" WWF wrestling.
why is there 200 third party evidence, i can send them to you with reference)?
why is the chinesse kaguya, the lunar obesrvatory survey they did last years is consistent with apollo site from 11, 12, 14, 15 , 16 , 17 ? did china agree to photoshop their picture to be consistent with nasa?
why are all the data concerning radiation from the latest cnc survey from 10 different contry and experiment
@lapmarty There is no peer review, because it is NOT science or scientific discovery, but government propaganda. In other words, an article stating the moon landing is a hoax would NOT uncover any law of the the universe, but just say how the government is wrong, which is NOT appropriate material for a science journal article. A celebrity physicist like Michio Kaku HAS TO say the moon landing happened, or else he would not be permitted on air.
@mooninquirer the problem, is that the hoax researcher lack total seriousnes, guys like sibrel running around with a bible, having video that had to be edit so many time, and totally debunk, there is no serious claim in the hoax, when you dig you find massive evidence to any of those, you didnt asses the third party evidence, are you reallly gonne try to debunk each of them(there is i dont know how many do you want the list?? for the second time) what about the dust in the rover?parabolic perfect
@lapmarty Are you a David Duke supporter or a White nationalist ? Only those people are blind to see the truth, because they NEED to believe the moon landing as a "White achievement" Otherwise, you are lying through your teeth, and do not believe for a minute that man landed on the moon. You NEVER saw a perfect parabola from the rover. It was shaped like a rooster tail, and was described that way by the astronauts themselves. See on youtube : WAS IT ONLY A PAPER MOON JIM COLLIER
@mooninquirer im canadian and couldnt care less about american politics, whatever you beleive wont change the third party evidence wich no hoaxer never talks about, because, i can see that would be a pain in the ass to go trought each of them, the list is so embarrasing for you all i understand, when thosand of people around the world not working for nasa have track those mission i guess it is better to let it go it wont change a thing anyway,
a 5 years old can see the 1 6 gravity in those video, but you adult have to invent a big elaborate scam to explain your theory, do you know the paul is dead hoax from teh 60 i suggest you take a look at this
Craneberry the paul is dead hoax, it will explain you exactly how your moon hoax began, how people find clue in picture and shit, and how it grew, and his what it is today, a embarassing little unsignificant thing on youtube, that nobodys in space related science or buiness take seriously
@lapmarty There is A LOT more on why there "is no peer review," as you say, and many other examples for more intense than the moon hoax. But as for China ---- they do not give a RAT'S ASS about the moon, in any capacity. This is costing China absolutely NOTHING to corroborate NASA, if indeed they are. Now, if China had to make a huge TRADE CONCESSION, then THAT would be a sacrifice, or declare that Taiwan is a completely free and independent nation.
@mooninquirer -- The main problem that the hoax-theory people have is that little issue about there being zero actual evidence that it was a hoax. You combine that with the fact that the main published hoax-theory promoters (Sibrel, Kaysing, Rene, Percy, Allen) have all been proven to be frauds, and there really isn't any argument at all for a "hoax."
OK I'll say it once more because you seem to be too stupid to understand.
ON EARTH they could barely move at all in the space suits because of the weight , bulk, and the way their movements were restricted in the cumbersome suits . On the moon they are moving about in a sprightly manner in many of the videos. Have you ever tried to climb a ladder in one of the space suits they are wearing? What THE FUCK do you know about the difficulty they had?
@Blahblobify There is a lot of footage of astronauts suited up, obviously on Earth, with the storyline that they were practicing for the moon mission, and they ARE moving, Doing a one handed pull on the rung of the ladder would be much easier than the hopping around. I agree, if the suits weighed 200 lbs on Earth, they would be encumbered by the weight. Hopping around in s sprightly manner proves that they were not on the moon, because that would be impossible, with the INERTIAL MASS.
@Blahblobify Thank you for providing further evidence of the moon landing being a hoax. If it happened, there would not be such a need for all these trolls like you, to discourage the average person from thinking for himself. "Look at how the people who are pointing out how the moon landing doesn't make sense are going to be socially ostracized, bullied, teased, etc. Now, YOU don't want to wind up like that, do you ? Good ! Then accept the moon landing without questioning it ! "
@Blahblobify I HAVE been asked to carry a 100 pound bag, while climbing up a ladder, on a job, requiring me to use only ONE hand for stability. I have carried two 100 lbs bags at once, while walking about 50 feet. If it were strapped to my back, it would be EASIER, because the load would be off my arms. This is certainly NOT something to brag about, and many other guys can do that, but I am just answering your question. On the moon, they weighed 66 pounds, with the pack.
@mooninquirer Ascending a ladder, while only weighing 66 pounds, would be much easier than what I was asked to do on a job. And these test pilots were required to maintain physical fitness standards, and were stronger than me.
Again, on the moon, Selena Gomez could lift the same mass that could be lifted on Earth by an NFL all-pro linebacker. We were PROMISED things like this --- illustrations in books written before 1969 show astronauts gleefully and easily lifting huge boulders.
@loperspest Some men have carried TWO 100 pound bags up the stairs, although not a ladder, at a different job. If it were strapped to my back, it would be easier. Yes, I know mass is still the same, and that is another reason to realize it is a hoax. P!nk ( "Get the Party Started" ) can lift 80 pounds very fast from the floor to her chest --- but if tried 480 lbs.t on the moon, the momentum would still be there, and very great, and it would knock her backwards on her pretty ass.
@mooninquirer No, actually it wouldn't be easier to climb a ladder with the strapped to your back. It would completely screw up your centre of gravity.
Think which way the backpack is pulling you compared to which way you are trying to go.
I can not tell you what you subjectively see or do not see, but to me it does indeed look like significant difference. This guy goes into some of the maths behind evidence of genuine 1/6th gravity.
@loperspest No, it would be easier to strap the 100 pound bag on my back, because I would have had to steady it with one hand, and use another hand, AND it was carried ON THE SHOULDER, which really screwed up the center of mass. Actually, I did not do it. The boss and owner was worried that I would fall, and decided to do it himself. He was very worried about lawsuits, especially because he had no workman's comp, and had lost lawsuits before.
@mooninquirer On your shoulder and around your arm, it's pulling you down while you are going up. Of course, with one arm is of course harder, but with a backpack, it's pulling you not only down but at an angle away from the ladder. Anyway, it's not easy either way.
@loperspest Yes, it would be pulling at an angle away from the ladder, but combined, with their body weight and suit and pack, they weighed 66 pounds on the moon, which is only one third of their Earth weight, with no clothes, so they should have easily descended the ladder with just their hands, and ascended. They could have banged out sets of 10 one armed pull ups on the rung of the ladder.
With. The same mass. In suits that were restricting their movements considerably. Even still, with all that, they did unearthly jumps. Here Armstrong jumps five feet.
next*nasa*gov/alsj/a11/a11.v1113715*mov People doing a five foot high jump on Earth wear next to nothing in comparison, do it in a special way to get as high as possible, and still require running jumps.
@loperspest Armstrong does NOT jump five feet vertically off the ground. The highest vertical jump is achieved by John Young ( very easy to search for ) at about 18 inches. By the way, not only can Young jump high, but he sure can run fast, after his voice cracks and face turns white with anxiety, after he is confronted by Bart Sibrel in ASTRONAUTS GONE WILD
@loperspest Use the exact words that I should type into the youtube space, because I always have trouble moving those addresses around. And if I have that trouble, I am sure there are many others as well. The same goes for the moon hoax. I have had several teachers in grade school, high school, and in college, including professors of physics, who said in no uncertain terms that the moon landing was a hoax. And I am sure that other people have had the same experience.
@mooninquirer People have opinions and beliefs. I believe a dead man was an avatar of a God and cured himself of death three days after the fact. That doesn't change facts that claims of the moon hoax been real are bogus. . Russia DID give a "rats ass" about the moon, would have plenty of evidence of it being fake, having sent probes to measure radiation both the Van Allen belts and on the moons surface and had their own lunar samples. Yet didn't, despite having a motive to reveal said hoax.
@loperspest Yes, I admit that Russia gave a "rat's ass" about going to the moon, as that was a goal they originally set out to achieve, and might have been the first country to send a probe to the far side of the moon. I chose the phrase "rat's ass" to describe CHINA's current goals. Now, let's suppose the moon landing were true, and China CONTINUES its very rapid economic development. Then China will still be FAR better off when America has ZERO manufacturing, and China OWNS all US debt
@loperspest Now, Russia might have had a motive to reveal the hoax ( and subsequently, many Russian scientists HAVE ). But without controlling the US news media, it would be COMPLETELY POINTLESS, and all that would happen is that the USSR would look like a SORE LOSER. They also did not want the US to reveal the USSR's OWN space hoaxes. Also, the USSR DID achieve a major trade deal from the US ---- grain shipments at very low cost.
@mooninquirer One, it is very rude to make huge multiple posts like this. Two, you're just inventing conspiracy theories to|"prove" your conspiracy theories. I'll discuss facts with you later, but so far you are like a man who accuses someone of lying and when presented with third party evidence to the contrary makes up an elaborate story how they are lying too, ad infinitum.
@loperspest Another reason the USSR didn't reveal the hoax, is there is a saying, "when your enemy is hanging himself by his own rope, just stand back and let him." 30 % of the American public doubted the moon landing when it happened, so there would be no REASON for the USSR to say anything. If anything, if it looked like a nasty spat between the USSR and the USA, patriotic feelings would be engendered, and therefore MORE Americans would believe the moon landing. Emotions mean everything
@loperspest But the GREATEST reason that the USSR did not reveal it was a hoax, is that the Cold War itself was a hoax, like "Professional" WWF wrestling. We have to distinguish between this statement " the Russians" AND the LEADERS of Russia, whose goal was to stay in power. Revealing it was a hoax would NOT help the leaders to stay in power. America's claim that they went to the moon served to spur on the Russian populace, like the way Sputnik did for Americans.
@loperspest At high weights on the Earth, the conflict between gravitational mass and inertial mass is a factor, especially if weights are lifted fast. One is not developing muscle as well if he lifts fast ( but he might want to do that in a competition ), because the momentum or the inertia of the upward moving weight OFFSETS the muscles' need to overcome gravity. Also, with free weights, it could be dangerous. On the moon, this conflict should be much greater, but I don't see that.
This proves the astronauts were very much willing to goof off and take unnecessary risks. Had it been a "wild pitch" and the hammer hit the very thin shelled LM they would have died on the moon. He should have thrown the hammer no where NEAR the LM. And I didn't see the hammer anyway, just a guy in a spacesuit near the LM.
He COULD HAVE done one armed pull ups on the rung of the ladder, to prove he was in moon gravity, and have taken no risks.
@mooninquirer I agree. It's closeout though - last mission, last EVA. And listen to the way he practically begs the Commander... Cernan was quite the cowboy too though. I doubt any other commander would have allowed it.
You can JUST see the hammer as a whitish blur above the LM at about 0:23 secs. He gets quite some height.
@krisdevalle But he would risk HIS OWN death, if he slipped and sent the hammer flying toward the LM. This isn't like playing ball in the backyard, where you can fix the window. Also, it would be very embarassing if he did it, without putting all his effort into throwing it, his whole body ---- and anyone doing that on the moon would lose his balance and fall down, sending the hammer in a completely different direction, like a QB being tackled at the ball is released.
@mooninquirer Again, this is based wholly on your opinion. This was the last mission. The LM had been proven, and plenty of astronauts had thrown other items around with no mishap. These are confident, practised astronauts. The LM is behind him. He is throwing away from it. It would have to be quite the clumsy astronaut to really mess that up.
@krisdevalle Schmitt was NOT a practiced astronaut. On the moon, anyone throwing like a baseball pitcher, a quarterback throwing far downfield, or just like throwing a discus or a hammer in track and field, would be pitching his upper body so far forward, YET NOT HAVE THE STABILITY with his legs, because he would only weigh 66 pounds even with the suit --- would fall down forward, like doing a somersault.
Actually the ''moon rock'' that was given to the Dutch, Rijks Museum in 1969 by the three Astronauts turned out to be ''Petrified wood''...lol...don't believe what nasa tells you...they gave it to a prime minister...you don't think they would lie to you.
I hate all you conspiracy theorists, all you do is google "Moon landing fake" then read wikipedia and mix that "credible" source with a few poorly put together YouTube videos... Then you have the balls to act like you know shit, WE WENT TO THE FUCKING MOON GET OVER IT.
APOLLO DISNEY MISSIONS Jack Schmidt the Clown from the Apollo 17 Hoax made many mistakes
He pulled up his gold visor when he was pretending to be on the moon :)
/watch?v=w6DqeNee5LA
He forgot to put on his PLSS, Portable Life Support System when faking the moon walk as we can see in the reflection of Cernans visor on the A17 moonset when he took a picture of astronaut Cernan
Conspiracy freaks get a fucking life. Better still do something useful and get a degree in engineering, be part of the team that makes it to Mars or Ceres.
Moon has landed on the moon. Get with the programme, or be an ignorant maggot.
@shermanr6 it has actually been proven hundreds of times. During one mission astronauts placed special "mirrors" on the surface so you can shine a very high intensity laser onto one and it reflects back onto earth
@ChrisRapesTrolls Just don't get too close to any rocks, they'll grow and turn into lunar spider things that will swarm all over you on the inside of your suit and kill you. (LOL)
any of you take into account that the soviets had a lunar orbiter that passed over the apollo 11 landing site moments after they had landed. Ya, its all fake still right? Because in 1969 the soviets and americans were best of friends and lied and did everything for each other...................oh wait!
I love that the Hoaxtards are in almost every one of these Apollo vids on Youtube declaring their almost complete lack of knowledge of science. Go Underachievers!
Jaxa say there is nothing at the landing sites... the best thing to do is go to Jaxa and talk to the head of dept, their pitcures show there is nothing there, i know of many in space research who say to me that they never went to the moon in 1969 or ever... they also say if you say this you will lose your fubding....
Jaxa says no such thing. Their lunar orbiter has taken pictures of the sites and the 3D imaging EXACTLY matches up with the pictures taken on the surface of the moon 40 years ago. The only way that is possible is if they were there and did it.
They can't fit into their brain the magnitude of western achievement the day we landed on the moon, so they whine and shout and swear and use terrible grammar. The Moon landings HAPPENED. Anyone who can read a book, read sources and weigh the evidence to make an informed opinion comes to this conclusion. Hoax "theories" are as credible a fake tan. All of the worlds scientists against people with so little education they can barely spell. I'll let you be the intellectual judge of that one!
@hoppuss44 the problem is a psychological issue, hoax beleiver are not all morons, the way a conspiracy is born and propagate is like a virus, some are just more incline to beleif visual clue found exactly like the paul is dead beatles hoax, people have found thosand of clue that seem amazing when you see them that mccartney was dead and replace by a double,,,stil some people beleive that today,,,,we know mccartney is alive and well touring,,,yet that aint evidence, nothing is when you BELEIVE
@lapmarty At the one year anniversary of the first moon landing ( and this was also after the very implausible Apollo 13 story ), 30 % of the American public had doubts about whether it had happened ---- the highest polling. With the passage of time, the public has accepted it as a fact. But if they showed hours of the Apollo footage on TV again, along with the rover, more people will doubt it, because they will get to SEE how implausible it really is, and think about it, and talk about it
@mooninquirer the psychology behind the propagation of hoax beleive is well know, even if 90% of the population beleive in something it doesnt make it right, remember hitler and the german people beleiving to burn the jew??? you seem like a inteligent man, go see this craneberry the paul is dead hoax, you just happen to have enconter hoax video in here, and have started beleive in this, see how the clues you take as proof are found, and by the way the rover, look at the dust behind.....
@lapmarty Paul is dead ? Are you referring to Paul McCartney ? I am not interested in things like "Elvis is still alive."
And a lot of people who SAY they believe that do not really believe it. In fact, neither is any other moon hoax researcher I know. Unfortunately, a lot of them believe that HAARP can control the weather and cause Earthquakes, and in Chemtrails. Now, I think it is possible that the government had John Lennon killed, along with some other rock stars.
the video footage of the roover in apollo 15 16 17, are one of the best video proof,(even know there is not such thing) the perfect parabolic trajectory of dust particule, is impossible to fake, even if you put it to 172% speed up it doesnt change it and that except with maybe lots of cgi power (wich is strange that hoaxer never use, after all why couldnt they just say they use advance secret cgi they had to fake the whole thing then you would have a undebunkable hoax theory) why ??
@lapmarty There is NO parabolic trajectory at all. It is a rooster tail shape, and it was described exactly that way by the astronauts themselves. You see the cloud of dust hanging in the air. It looks exactly like a dune buggy tooling around in the dirt on Earth. The sand, dirt and dust should have been kicked up SIX TIMES higher. But the MAIN REASON showing the moon buggy would cause the public to doubt the moon landing is they would start THINKING FOR THEMSELVES.
@lapmarty I am NOT interested in any kind of secret super technology that the government might have, like HAARP. That is a step in the wrong direction. Unfortunately, a lot of people who realize the moon landing is a hoax are into HAARP ---- saying that it caused the recent Japanese Earthquake. They are often interested in an advanced technology that Nikola Tesla might have had ---- but he was just being literary, and letting off frustration, because he was held under the thumb.
These conspiracy "theorists" make me laugh so much. Over the last 40 years not one credible scientist in the world has written a credible, peer reviewed report that claims these landings did not occur. The then Soviet Union monitored the landings very closely (and if anyone had a reason to try to de-bunk the landings then the Russians did!) They however, have never claimed the landings are a hoax.
The 30 billion dolllar hammer throwing experiment was a complete success assuming this footage was actually on the moon not hollywood or diznee studios.
They should've just disabled all comments for these videos! Or do they just have a twisted sense of humor... Hmm... 40 years later and people are still arguing... more than ever!! HA! HA!
@beastiesmovie1957 And the second acronym was ALSEP, which stands for "Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package." It was set up a few hundred feet from the LM, if I'm not mistaken, so I'm guessing there was little chance of hitting that.
@NASAvsPETE to throw something that far, that long, you really think that someone could recreate that without CG? with the suit, he would have had to put forth the effort of a olympic disc thrower to even get half the distance and height he had in that video. prove me wrong, make a video response and throw a hammer, see how fast it falls. do what you have to do to make it do exactly what it does in the video
@TheJomogogo I had an "Arts" student once tell me (in that all knowing way) that all Einstein said was garbage regarding relatively.
I then said to her that, "you can't even explain how an electric motor works, how the hell are you telling me you are qualified to discuss time dilation?" She shut up very quickly.
what im getting at is, if it has something to do with mass, then both earth and the moons gravity must be pulling each other closer right?
And therefore the moon would speed up and therefore there is no way that this "perfect" orbit with a "perfect" rotation can exist right?
Anyone that knows can you answer me this.. does the moon speed up and get closer to earth, then slingshot out losing speed to once again be drawn back in by earths gravity? Or does it stay at a perfect distance from earth?
@ALLnamesTAKENffs The way you've described the Moon's orbit is essentially accurate. It is slightly eliptical, which means that it isn't at a perfect distance from the Earth. At its closest to the Earth, it is going faster than at its furthest from the Earth. This causes some of what's called the Lunar libration, or the apparent wobble of the Moon when viewed from Earth. So the rotation isn't quite perfect - but it's very close.
@ALLnamesTAKENffs Fantastic questions, though they're a bit involved, so bear with me.
"Why is the gravity so weak on the moon..."
Keep in mind, the oceans are liquid. They have no resistence to being pulled one way or another. So the Moon's gravity, while certainly weaker than the Earth's, can act on the whole volume of the oceans to pull the water towards it. Now, compared to the Earth's gravity, this is a small effect. But it's still significant.
I bought a $3 dollar DVD at WalMart that showed how this is fake. I know what I'm talking about people.

nerfmyaccount, You mean when they decided to slaughter men women and children in South East Asia, you have lost every war you have ever been involved in, you had to fake the moon landings to try and garner some respect, I've been all over the US, in fact I am going back to New York in 2 months for the 3rd time, whilst individually I find most Americans charming, collectively they are very weird, also because of shit wages the cheeky bastards ask for thier tips, you have no shame, or manners.

Whether we landed on the moon or not the UK is and shall remain behind the US. Get over it. Move on. Stop crying.

awey271 I know the rover didn't return from the so-called moon, the point I was making is, the filming of the lift-off was done by a camera mounted on the front of the rover, right?, where is the film of them entering prior to lift-off, continual film please, if it filmed the lif-off it must have filmed the entry as it was directed at the LEM all the time or am I missing something here?
thecubanism 1 month ago
@thecubanism You have already been told that they entered the LM about 17 hours before lift off (they even slept in the meantime), so You just keep on asking for things You know isn't able to find.
Even if you served in Malaya, You are a racist, since You in other postings have called the Holocaust a lie, and called all Jews liars. Did You kill many Malayans?
YDDES 1 month ago
@thecubanism "no-one has offered conclusive proof that the moon landings happened" ha ha, they have, did so continuously, live,at the time, for the many years the program was underway. You just don't want to accept it that's all and no matter how much science is thrown your way (the fact that telemetry tracks these vehicles all the way from lift-off to orbit, landing and back again, that Hubble can see the sites actually on the surface now etc etc,you will never accept it as you don't want to.
EvilSirJasper 1 month ago
krisdevalle, It is my sticking point because it is one event that would be nigh on impossible to fake, astronauts entering the LEM and then taking off, I don't believe film of that exists, if not, why not? continuous unedited footage might, and I say might, go a long way to persuading me it really happened, then I think of the Gene Cerman interview, I showed this to a policeman friend of mine who stated if he had been interviewing him he would have been detained pending further enquiries.
thecubanism 1 month ago
One final question, if the camera filming the lift-off was mounted on the buggy, why did it not film them entering the LEM prior to lift-off, and if your reason is that they entered the LEM 18 hours before lift-off, did they switch the camera off to be switched on by ground control just in time to film the so-called lift-off, [incidentally Buzz forgot to switch on the camera to film the lift-off, how convenient] he must have lost his pre flight check list.
thecubanism 1 month ago
@thecubanism Ah, the liftoffs were only videoed for missions 15, 16 and 17. Buzz was on Apollo 11.
But what's your point? Would you believe the missions really happened if you saw the astronauts climb in to the LEM? Why is this your sticking point at this stage?
krisdevalle 1 month ago
'Look at that, look at that, ' look at what? some well-payed faker swinging his arm, when it comes down to it, no-one has offered conclusive proof that the moon landings happened, it was supposed to be proven beyond doubt by the Japanese close-up photos, wasn't it? well, no it wasn't, why not? Japan and America now piss in the same pot don't forget.
thecubanism 1 month ago
@thecubanism Oh the moon landings happened... yes they did... but there's an even bigger reason we didn't go back. Do more research and you'll see. There's a reason why NASA keeps 90% of everything confidential...

thecubanism 2 months ago
@thecubanism Of course they left the Rovers behind. The cameras filming the lift offs were mounted on the Rovers. They even left their PLSS's ("backpacks") to save weight. @sabino86 Yeah, that hammer would have gone right through the LM had it hit. Sometimes professional baseball pitchers through a WILD PITCH, and Schmitt was NOT an athlete, and had ZERO warm up, plus he was encumbered by the suit, and the much greater conflict on the moon between inertial mass and gravitational mass ( an Olympic hammer thrower going through a full wind up would develop ENORMOUS inertial momentum because of the 200 lb pack, and completely lose his balance ).
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer That's nasty! Do you really think NASA would bunk off one of their original mercury astronauts and two other ones just as a social experiment? Or to remove them from the public eye or whatever. If they DID want to do such a thing, wouldn't it have been cleverer to get rid of them in a way that didn't make THEMSELVES look incompetent??
thefunkydalek 4 months ago
@thefunkydalek Indeed. Even before Apollo 1 other astronauts had died. Theodore Freeman was killed when a goose hit his aircraft, shattering the canopy which lead to flameout.
Surely NASA could come up with a more discrete means of killing the Apollo 1 crew than in such a PR destroying manner.
Like so many hoax claims, like NASA allegedly using secondary lighting on an alleged set to replicate the airless moon and crosshairs "behind" objects, it doesn't make sense even from a hoax perspective.
loperspest 4 months ago
@thefunkydalek Yes, I agree. I could either way. It was EITHER a accident, or done intentionally. But if it WERE an accident, it shows how incompetent NASA was, and casts a lot of doubt on the subsequent very successful missions, including Apollo 13, a very implausible "successful failure." The government does NASTY THINGS already, with respect to taxes, the Federal reserve, and the UNNECESSARY war in Iraq, killing thousands of US soldiers and wounding tens of thousands.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
What IS IT with you NASA apologists ? Say ONE thing criticizing the moon landing, and then IMMEDIATELY all of these trolls start swarming. In contrast, when someone says, even on Lady Gaga's official youtube channel, something like, "I hope she gets raped by her Black dancers," or she is "Fugly" ( Fuckin' Ugly ) ----- that comment often goes unchallenged. And there are A LOT of little monsters regularly commenting on this channel.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
If the moon landing was a hoax, why would Nasa make up so many failures beforehand? Like Apollo 1 - what sick organisation would make that up?
thefunkydalek 4 months ago
@thefunkydalek To get rid of Gus Grissom, who NASA could not trust with keeping up the lie ( he hung a lemon on a LM ). Also, the NASA footage and still shots look intentionally fake, BECAUSE their main purpose was to act as a social experiment to see how gullible the American public is, and the power of the media to convince them that something that is obviously a lie, is the truth, and to see if the passage of time would increase the public's belief ---- and it HAS.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
We NEVER see any evidence of 1/6 gravity in the Apollo footage, or in the still shots for that matter. Selena Gomez ( to get why I pick her, watch this --- type into youtube : SELENA GOMEZ MAID SONG ) could lift the same mass on the moon that an NFL all-pro linebacker can on Earth. And these test pilots were required to maintain a physical fitness standard, including doing pull ups. It should have looked like the World's Strongest Man Competition, except without the grunting.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer
Just the way they get around is evidence of 1/6 gravity you dumbass, on Earth they could barely move in those spacesuits. God you hoaxers are such shameless liars.
Blahblobify 4 months ago
@Blahblobify The problem with those suits, with respect to this supposed event, is getting out of the LM, because they were so big, and would have to go through an air lock chamber, as well. But the problem is NOT the weight of the suits. On the moon, combined, they would weigh 66 pounds, and NASA admits this, and says so in one of their documentaries. They could have EASILY descended, and ascended, the ladder with just their hands, and have banged out sets of 10 one handed pull ups.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer
Yeah right just hopping around like they weighed almost nothing isn't good enough, you think they sgould have brought a Jungle Gym along to prove something to you
Blahblobify 4 months ago
@Blahblobify They wouldn't have to bring a jungle gym --- just the manner in which they descended and ascended the ladder shows they were very encumbered with weight. They do NOT hop round like they weighed almost nothing. And that is another point of the physics --- any fast movement on the moon would be dangerous, because there would still be the same momentum as on Earth. Moving fast, in a sideways direction, with 400 pounds Earth mass, and then the feet touching the ground....
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer ( cont ) ....would just send them flying forward, and they would always fall down. It would be like being tackled by a 400 pound defensive lineman as he is running toward you. The problem is one is not going to get the stoppage from FRICTION, which depends upon weight, from the boots touching the ground, since they weighed 66 pounds. The sideways hopping proves they were not on the moon. You also would not be able to change direction easily on the moon.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer you would change direction on the moon, this isnt zero gravity, its 1/6 and by the way they do change directino in a clummzzy way,
lim telling you you are wrong about this, also you should try to watch the apollo 12 13 14 15 16 17 footage,
do you beleive we never went? or at some point went like other do? if so, when did we went and what major breaktrought did we have to allowed us to go? and if not why did they fake it 6 times? why did the russian shut up,
lapmarty 4 months ago
@lapmarty They were ALL fakes. They wanted to really make a big impression on the American public. I believe the PURPOSE of the moon hoax was to TEST the gullibility of the public, especially the media's ability to PRODUCE FACTS AND TRUTHS, and the acceptance of these over time. It was similar to the "War of the Worlds" --- a social experiment, like the ASCH CONFORMITY EXPERIMENT
The entire Cold War was as fake as "Professional" WWF wrestling.

why is there 200 third party evidence, i can send them to you with reference)?
why is the chinesse kaguya, the lunar obesrvatory survey they did last years is consistent with apollo site from 11, 12, 14, 15 , 16 , 17 ? did china agree to photoshop their picture to be consistent with nasa?
why are all the data concerning radiation from the latest cnc survey from 10 different contry and experiment
consisten with the data from the apollo program?
why isnt there any peer review on hoax?
lapmarty 4 months ago
@lapmarty There is no peer review, because it is NOT science or scientific discovery, but government propaganda. In other words, an article stating the moon landing is a hoax would NOT uncover any law of the the universe, but just say how the government is wrong, which is NOT appropriate material for a science journal article. A celebrity physicist like Michio Kaku HAS TO say the moon landing happened, or else he would not be permitted on air.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer the problem, is that the hoax researcher lack total seriousnes, guys like sibrel running around with a bible, having video that had to be edit so many time, and totally debunk, there is no serious claim in the hoax, when you dig you find massive evidence to any of those, you didnt asses the third party evidence, are you reallly gonne try to debunk each of them(there is i dont know how many do you want the list?? for the second time) what about the dust in the rover?parabolic perfect

@lapmarty Are you a David Duke supporter or a White nationalist ? @mooninquirer im canadian and couldnt care less about american politics, whatever you beleive wont change the third party evidence wich no hoaxer never talks about, because, i can see that would be a pain in the ass to go trought each of them, the list is so embarrasing for you all i understand, when thosand of people around the world not working for nasa have track those mission i guess it is better to let it go it wont change a thing anyway,
your mind is as close as it can be,
lapmarty 4 months ago
a 5 years old can see the 1 6 gravity in those video, but you adult have to invent a big elaborate scam to explain your theory, do you know the paul is dead hoax from teh 60 i suggest you take a look at this
Craneberry the paul is dead hoax, it will explain you exactly how your moon hoax began, how people find clue in picture and shit, and how it grew, and his what it is today, a embarassing little unsignificant thing on youtube, that nobodys in space related science or buiness take seriously
lapmarty 4 months ago
@lapmarty There is A LOT more on why there "is no peer review," as you say, and many other examples for more intense than the moon hoax. But as for China ---- they do not give a RAT'S ASS about the moon, in any capacity. This is costing China absolutely NOTHING to corroborate NASA, if indeed they are. Now, if China had to make a huge TRADE CONCESSION, then THAT would be a sacrifice, or declare that Taiwan is a completely free and independent nation.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer -- The main problem that the hoax-theory people have is that little issue about there being zero actual evidence that it was a hoax. You combine that with the fact that the main published hoax-theory promoters (Sibrel, Kaysing, Rene, Percy, Allen) have all been proven to be frauds, and there really isn't any argument at all for a "hoax."
prosperomage 4 months ago
@mooninquirer
Blahblobify 4 months ago
@Blahblobify There is a lot of footage of astronauts suited up, obviously on Earth, with the storyline that they were practicing for the moon mission, and they ARE moving, Doing a one handed pull on the rung of the ladder would be much easier than the hopping around. I agree, if the suits weighed 200 lbs on Earth, they would be encumbered by the weight. Hopping around in s sprightly manner proves that they were not on the moon, because that would be impossible, with the INERTIAL MASS.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@Blahblobify Thank you for providing further evidence of the moon landing being a hoax. If it happened, there would not be such a need for all these trolls like you, to discourage the average person from thinking for himself. "Look at how the people who are pointing out how the moon landing doesn't make sense are going to be socially ostracized, bullied, teased, etc. Now, YOU don't want to wind up like that, do you ? Good ! Then accept the moon landing without questioning it ! "
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@Blahblobify I HAVE been asked to carry a 100 pound bag, while climbing up a ladder, on a job, requiring me to use only ONE hand for stability. I have carried two 100 lbs bags at once, while walking about 50 feet. If it were strapped to my back, it would be EASIER, because the load would be off my arms. This is certainly NOT something to brag about, and many other guys can do that, but I am just answering your question. On the moon, they weighed 66 pounds, with the pack.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer Ascending a ladder, while only weighing 66 pounds, would be much easier than what I was asked to do on a job. And these test pilots were required to maintain physical fitness standards, and were stronger than me.
Again, on the moon, Selena Gomez could lift the same mass that could be lifted on Earth by an NFL all-pro linebacker. We were PROMISED things like this --- illustrations in books written before 1969 show astronauts gleefully and easily lifting huge boulders.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer Don't forget, mass is still the same, moon, LEO, or Earth, and you weren't wearing a restrictive spacesuit while doing it.
loperspest 4 months ago
@loperspest Some men have carried TWO 100 pound bags up the stairs, although not a ladder, at a different job. If it were strapped to my back, it would be easier. Yes, I know mass is still the same, and that is another reason to realize it is a hoax. P!nk ( "Get the Party Started" ) can lift 80 pounds very fast from the floor to her chest --- but if tried 480 lbs.t on the moon, the momentum would still be there, and very great, and it would knock her backwards on her pretty ass.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer No, actually it wouldn't be easier to climb a ladder with the strapped to your back. It would completely screw up your centre of gravity.
Think which way the backpack is pulling you compared to which way you are trying to go.
I can not tell you what you subjectively see or do not see, but to me it does indeed look like significant difference. This guy goes into some of the maths behind evidence of genuine 1/6th gravity.
watch?v=NxZMjpMhwNE
loperspest 4 months ago
@loperspest No, it would be easier to strap the 100 pound bag on my back, because I would have had to steady it with one hand, and use another hand, AND it was carried ON THE SHOULDER, which really screwed up the center of mass. Actually, I did not do it. The boss and owner was worried that I would fall, and decided to do it himself. He was very worried about lawsuits, especially because he had no workman's comp, and had lost lawsuits before.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer On your shoulder and around your arm, it's pulling you down while you are going up. Of course, with one arm is of course harder, but with a backpack, it's pulling you not only down but at an angle away from the ladder. Anyway, it's not easy either way.
loperspest 4 months ago
@loperspest Yes, it would be pulling at an angle away from the ladder, but combined, with their body weight and suit and pack, they weighed 66 pounds on the moon, which is only one third of their Earth weight, with no clothes, so they should have easily descended the ladder with just their hands, and ascended. They could have banged out sets of 10 one armed pull ups on the rung of the ladder.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer
/watch?v=lCDA_7SGCSk&feature=related
loperspest 4 months ago
@loperspest Armstrong does NOT jump five feet vertically off the ground. The highest vertical jump is achieved by John Young ( very easy to search for ) at about 18 inches. By the way, not only can Young jump high, but he sure can run fast, after his voice cracks and face turns white with anxiety, after he is confronted by Bart Sibrel in ASTRONAUTS GONE WILD
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@loperspest Use the exact words that I should type into the youtube space, because I always have trouble moving those addresses around. And if I have that trouble, I am sure there are many others as well. The same goes for the moon hoax. I have had several teachers in grade school, high school, and in college, including professors of physics, who said in no uncertain terms that the moon landing was a hoax. And I am sure that other people have had the same experience.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer People have opinions and beliefs. I believe a dead man was an avatar of a God and cured himself of death three days after the fact. That doesn't change facts that claims of the moon hoax been real are bogus. . Russia DID give a "rats ass" about the moon, would have plenty of evidence of it being fake, having sent probes to measure radiation both the Van Allen belts and on the moons surface and had their own lunar samples. Yet didn't, despite having a motive to reveal said hoax.
loperspest 4 months ago
@loperspest Yes, I admit that Russia gave a "rat's ass" about going to the moon, as that was a goal they originally set out to achieve, and might have been the first country to send a probe to the far side of the moon. I chose the phrase "rat's ass" to describe CHINA's current goals. Now, let's suppose the moon landing were true, and China CONTINUES its very rapid economic development. Then China will still be FAR better off when America has ZERO manufacturing, and China OWNS all US debt
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@loperspest Now, Russia might have had a motive to reveal the hoax ( and subsequently, many Russian scientists HAVE ). But without controlling the US news media, it would be COMPLETELY POINTLESS, and all that would happen is that the USSR would look like a SORE LOSER. They also did not want the US to reveal the USSR's OWN space hoaxes. Also, the USSR DID achieve a major trade deal from the US ---- grain shipments at very low cost.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer One, it is very rude to make huge multiple posts like this. Two, you're just inventing conspiracy theories to|"prove" your conspiracy theories. I'll discuss facts with you later, but so far you are like a man who accuses someone of lying and when presented with third party evidence to the contrary makes up an elaborate story how they are lying too, ad infinitum.
In fact, that's exact;y what you are doing.
Good day to you sir.
loperspest 4 months ago 2
@loperspest Another reason the USSR didn't reveal the hoax, is there is a saying, "when your enemy is hanging himself by his own rope, just stand back and let him." 30 % of the American public doubted the moon landing when it happened, so there would be no REASON for the USSR to say anything. If anything, if it looked like a nasty spat between the USSR and the USA, patriotic feelings would be engendered, and therefore MORE Americans would believe the moon landing. Emotions mean everything
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@loperspest But the GREATEST reason that the USSR did not reveal it was a hoax, is that the Cold War itself was a hoax, like "Professional" WWF wrestling. We have to distinguish between this statement " the Russians" AND the LEADERS of Russia, whose goal was to stay in power. Revealing it was a hoax would NOT help the leaders to stay in power. America's claim that they went to the moon served to spur on the Russian populace, like the way Sputnik did for Americans.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@loperspest At high weights on the Earth, the conflict between gravitational mass and inertial mass is a factor, especially if weights are lifted fast. One is not developing muscle as well if he lifts fast ( but he might want to do that in a competition ), because the momentum or the inertia of the upward moving weight OFFSETS the muscles' need to overcome gravity. Also, with free weights, it could be dangerous. On the moon, this conflict should be much greater, but I don't see that.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
This proves the astronauts were very much willing to goof off and take unnecessary risks. Had it been a "wild pitch" and the hammer hit the very thin shelled LM they would have died on the moon. He should have thrown the hammer no where NEAR the LM. And I didn't see the hammer anyway, just a guy in a spacesuit near the LM.
He COULD HAVE done one armed pull ups on the rung of the ladder, to prove he was in moon gravity, and have taken no risks.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer I agree. It's closeout though - last mission, last EVA. And listen to the way he practically begs the Commander... Cernan was quite the cowboy too though. I doubt any other commander would have allowed it.
You can JUST see the hammer as a whitish blur above the LM at about 0:23 secs. He gets quite some height.
krisdevalle 4 months ago
@krisdevalle But he would risk HIS OWN death, if he slipped and sent the hammer flying toward the LM. This isn't like playing ball in the backyard, where you can fix the window. Also, it would be very embarassing if he did it, without putting all his effort into throwing it, his whole body ---- and anyone doing that on the moon would lose his balance and fall down, sending the hammer in a completely different direction, like a QB being tackled at the ball is released.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer Again, this is based wholly on your opinion. This was the last mission. The LM had been proven, and plenty of astronauts had thrown other items around with no mishap. These are confident, practised astronauts. The LM is behind him. He is throwing away from it. It would have to be quite the clumsy astronaut to really mess that up.
This is far from any conclusive proof of a hoax.
krisdevalle 4 months ago
@krisdevalle Schmitt was NOT a practiced astronaut. On the moon, anyone throwing like a baseball pitcher, a quarterback throwing far downfield, or just like throwing a discus or a hammer in track and field, would be pitching his upper body so far forward, YET NOT HAVE THE STABILITY with his legs, because he would only weigh 66 pounds even with the suit --- would fall down forward, like doing a somersault.

hoppuss44 7 months ago 25
@hoppuss44 the problem is a psychological issue, hoax beleiver are not all morons, the way a conspiracy is born and propagate is like a virus, some are just more incline to beleif visual clue found exactly like the paul is dead beatles hoax, people have found thosand of clue that seem amazing when you see them that mccartney was dead and replace by a double,,,stil some people beleive that today,,,,we know mccartney is alive and well touring,,,yet that aint evidence, nothing is when you BELEIVE
lapmarty 4 months ago
@lapmarty At the one year anniversary of the first moon landing ( and this was also after the very implausible Apollo 13 story ), 30 % of the American public had doubts about whether it had happened ---- the highest polling. With the passage of time, the public has accepted it as a fact. But if they showed hours of the Apollo footage on TV again, along with the rover, more people will doubt it, because they will get to SEE how implausible it really is, and think about it, and talk about it
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@mooninquirer the psychology behind the propagation of hoax beleive is well know, even if 90% of the population beleive in something it doesnt make it right, remember hitler and the german people beleiving to burn the jew??? you seem like a inteligent man, go see this craneberry the paul is dead hoax, you just happen to have enconter hoax video in here, and have started beleive in this, see how the clues you take as proof are found, and by the way the rover, look at the dust behind.....
lapmarty 4 months ago
@lapmarty Paul is dead ? Are you referring to Paul McCartney ? I am not interested in things like "Elvis is still alive."
And a lot of people who SAY they believe that do not really believe it. In fact, neither is any other moon hoax researcher I know. Unfortunately, a lot of them believe that HAARP can control the weather and cause Earthquakes, and in Chemtrails. Now, I think it is possible that the government had John Lennon killed, along with some other rock stars.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
the video footage of the roover in apollo 15 16 17, are one of the best video proof,(even know there is not such thing) the perfect parabolic trajectory of dust particule, is impossible to fake, even if you put it to 172% speed up it doesnt change it and that except with maybe lots of cgi power (wich is strange that hoaxer never use, after all why couldnt they just say they use advance secret cgi they had to fake the whole thing then you would have a undebunkable hoax theory) why ??
lapmarty 4 months ago
@lapmarty There is NO parabolic trajectory at all. It is a rooster tail shape, and it was described exactly that way by the astronauts themselves. You see the cloud of dust hanging in the air. It looks exactly like a dune buggy tooling around in the dirt on Earth. The sand, dirt and dust should have been kicked up SIX TIMES higher. But the MAIN REASON showing the moon buggy would cause the public to doubt the moon landing is they would start THINKING FOR THEMSELVES.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
@lapmarty I am NOT interested in any kind of secret super technology that the government might have, like HAARP. That is a step in the wrong direction. Unfortunately, a lot of people who realize the moon landing is a hoax are into HAARP ---- saying that it caused the recent Japanese Earthquake. They are often interested in an advanced technology that Nikola Tesla might have had ---- but he was just being literary, and letting off frustration, because he was held under the thumb.
mooninquirer 4 months ago
These conspiracy "theorists" make me laugh so much. Over the last 40 years not one credible scientist in the world has written a credible, peer reviewed report that claims these landings did not occur. The then Soviet Union monitored the landings very closely (and if anyone had a reason to try to de-bunk the landings then the Russians did!) They however, have never claimed the landings are a hoax.

@NASAvsPETE to throw something that far, that long, you really think that someone could recreate that without CG? with the suit, he would have had to put forth the effort of a olympic disc thrower to even get half the distance and height he had in that video. prove me wrong, make a video response and throw a hammer, see how fast it falls. do what you have to do to make it do exactly what it does in the video

what im getting at is, if it has something to do with mass, then both earth and the moons gravity must be pulling each other closer right?
And therefore the moon would speed up and therefore there is no way that this "perfect" orbit with a "perfect" rotation can exist right?
Anyone that knows can you answer me this.. does the moon speed up and get closer to earth, then slingshot out losing speed to once again be drawn back in by earths gravity? Or does it stay at a perfect distance from earth?
ALLnamesTAKENffs 11 months ago
@ALLnamesTAKENffs The way you've described the Moon's orbit is essentially accurate. It is slightly eliptical, which means that it isn't at a perfect distance from the Earth. At its closest to the Earth, it is going faster than at its furthest from the Earth. This causes some of what's called the Lunar libration, or the apparent wobble of the Moon when viewed from Earth. So the rotation isn't quite perfect - but it's very close.
roamingcroat 11 months ago
I have a couple of quick questions that I can't seem to get my head around.
Why is the gravity so weak on the moon BUT effects everything on earth... For example, something as massive as the entire ocean...
And if the earth has more gravitational pull then the moon, then why doesnt the earths gravity effect the moon?
ALLnamesTAKENffs 11 months ago
@ALLnamesTAKENffs Fantastic questions, though they're a bit involved, so bear with me.
"Why is the gravity so weak on the moon..."
Keep in mind, the oceans are liquid. They have no resistence to being pulled one way or another. So the Moon's gravity, while certainly weaker than the Earth's, can act on the whole volume of the oceans to pull the water towards it. Now, compared to the Earth's gravity, this is a small effect. But it's still significant.
