yup. it's like that a lot. and for those of you talking about how the Great Idea looked; you're over analyzing something that's pretty clear and simple to understand, just like a focus group would. shame.

I understand the metaphor, but I didn't like the Great Creative Idea. It didn't look great to me at all. While I do feel for the plight of the Creative Idea's creators, I also agree with everyone who modified it. It just looked like a living blank sheet of paper which was in need of padding.

lol, you completely missed the point. The white or "pure" idea simply represented "a great idea" and the modifications represented all the crap the clients and directors add on to sell the idea. This video is not saying that a guy dressed in white is a great idea.

Yes it is. It's the pure, un-meddled-with idea that is the Best Idea at the end. I'm only objecting to the filmmakers' decision to make it look like a blank canvas, which is BEGGING for some sort of alteration to be made to it.

Not bad by any means, but I would've exaggerated the changes to the idea more.
Like, at the end of the film, it's a duck sitting on a throne, atop a green, writhing mass of tentacles.
